'Hmm I've been stuck at this level for the past 4 days, I'm also pretty hungry.' Umbra looked over at the table that was filed with food just a fortnight ago, that was now empty for the past four days. 'Infinity can I move on to the second stage of the DL's body refining technique?'

Umbra focused, he was trying to access the refinement technique. 'What? For this I have to starve for 5 days while practising the first stage to unlock it. Fuck this technique! But I have no other choice, that guy will hunt me down and find me here and kill my whole family, I can die but they have nothing to do with this!' After resting for a moment Umbra started again and done a hand stand with his nose a millimetre off of the floor, he closed his eyes and kept his body from moving. He was used to the heat unlike the beginning which hindered him at the beginning but he was able to regain the time lost at the beginning when he entered the purification level, the heat help him greatly and the impurities were expelled from his body when he sweated which was constantly but know since he hasn't drank water.

A couple hours later…

He could feel his consciousness slipping away slowly, he try to hold on but the more he tried the harder it became, but he could feel him about to break through. 'I… need…to…stay awake...I have to....keep fighting..... I'm...…..going to...…. brake through' suddenly Umbra vomited out a black stick substance with a repulsive putrid smell. When Umbra heard that he could past out in peace and he fell face first into the impurities he vomited out a few seconds ago. When he woke up he immediately wiped off the vomited and got up, he still felt weak but still managed to stumble to the door. He slowly opened it and when his body could fit through he slid through than started to craw when he heard a voice from behind him. "Who are you and you dare to crawl in front of me?" the voice said. Umbra didn't really care, it was normal for nobody to know who he was as he only stayed in his courtyard or the library, and continued to crawl "Are you ignoring me the 1st elder's grandson?" Umbra still couldn't give the slightest whiff of a fuck "I don't care who you are! Where is the closest place I can eat?" he said.

"Remove this trash from my way!" the boy ordered his guards. Just as the guards were about to act Pyra and Pyros came from the corner in front of him "Who you calling trash Mason?" Pyra asked under the impression the boy was talking to him. "Oh, Umbra you made it out. I was wondering when you were going to come out." Pyros said quietly to Umbra.

"No, I'm not talking to you Pyra I'm talking to the pile of shit crawling over…" before Mason was able to finish his sentence he was sent flying by Pyros. She opened her clenched hand and a rapier appeared. "You dare call my little brother trash! I'll fucking murder you!" the normally elegant Pyros screamed. She was very sensitive when it came to family if she heard anybody talking bad about any of her siblings she would but in and beat that person till she felt better, this went doubly so for Clovis, even though she didn't really talk to him that much she sent multiple people to the hospital if they even said the first three letters of the word trash about him. "Oh Umbra your out already? Do you need anything?" Pyra asked he knew Pyros the best when somebody pissed her off there wasn't much somebody could do to calm her down. "Food!" Umbra replied he couldn't really care how he smelt right now but he was dead hungry cleanliness came 3rd, which was after number 1 food and cultivation. Pyra smiled and summoned a meal from his interspatial ring and gave it to Umbra, when he looked over at Pyros he panicked she really meant to kill Mason, she was going to use her strongest technique against a person at the 3rd stage of the soul cleansing realm while she was currently at the 1st stage of the elementary realm, even though it's was just a stage difference the gap was enormous. Pyra suddenly leapt and kicked her rapier out of her hand "What are you doing? Calm down!" Pyra yelled in her ear and just before she could say something he grabbed her and her rapier and pulled her away from the situation. He saw that there was a small pond and he threw her into it "Cool off!"
