I have read well past what is translated. If you like MC's that only need the barest of excuses to kidnap and rape as many women as he wants, then this story is for you. Kingdom building with DBZ style power up fights. Expect some fights to take several chapters as the MC and his opponent power up over and over again until everyone else is just left to stare and watch as he fights. Story had a lot of good concepts and I was looking forward to seeing where it went, but frankly, i don't like reading about an unabashed rapist and I stopped enjoying DBZ years ago. Translation quality is decent even though he takes some liberties at parts. The translator is consistent. But in the end I have no rape fantasies and kingdom building is meaningless because of the individually overpowered MC to this degree.
There are only two books that makes me go back to gravitytales everyday. One is The Lord's Empire and the other is The Records of the Human Emperor. One is constantly updating while the other rarely updates. I love the story. I do hope that once it gets transferred here that it wouldn't cost too much..hehehe.. The story gets more interesting as the story comes along. It has game-elements, history, rebirth, revenge, a bit of romance here and there ( not too much, subtle) and a good story-line. Definitely a good read.
If you are looking for a kingdom building novel that is realistic and similar to "release that witch", then go somewhere else but if your looking for a novel where every reader wants the MC to FVCKNG FAIL SO BAD because of his unreasonable, and stupid decision but still succeeded due to his Plot armor that's thicker than KING KONGS ANUS, then this is the novel for you.... Seriously, mc is sometimes a genius or stupid, kind or unreasonably ruthless, sometimes alpha or beta in females... Makes you wonder if his bipolar or something.....
It was interesting at first and I trie duo stick with it as long as I did. Novels definitely got some good ideas and I felt like there’s been some lost potential somewhere here. Main thing I disliked about this novel is the hypocritical and unlikable main character. I personally can’t continue on with a novel where I find the main character this irksome. It’s not unreadable like the God and Devil World pile of dung (sorry dung, at least you’re useful as fertilizer)
Not going to spoiler anything but do yourself a favor and just avoid reading this. A serialized/commercialized books but the quality is truly subpar. Story doesn't make any sense. everything rushed, plotholes here and there, plain character building/interactions. Some original novels made by people here are miles better than this.
I have Read it Till chapter 160 or so , its like World online but more stupid. The Story is Shallow and You dont explained **** at all. The mc is Building a kingdom with 16532476 People but this peons are totally useless since the Main chars are freaking overpowered and can anyhilate averything themself, so why Even Build a kingdom ? The fights of mc Takes 6-7 chapter with 10 Million power ups , sayajins are scrap against that !!!!! There is like no Strategie Required at all its just a Face of betwen 2 People , the is just no Need for a Army !
This is a crappy novel no matter how you try to spin it. The logic of the author is simply retarded. The MC is simply a hypocritical POS! He goes around raping and stealing any woman he wants regardless of whether or not she is married then tries to act like what he is doing is right. At one point in the story he forces 12 Light Priestess who were members of his empire to change their affiliation to a Dark God. They do not want to so because they have been dedicated to their faith since they were children and want to remain faithful. The MC tells them if they do not do so willingly he will force them into prostitution or force them to kill their family members if they do not do so. Some try to kill themselves and instead he ends doing to usual rape converting them to the Dark. He is always saying how once someone is a member of his Empire they will live great lives and they will be his people but, in the end he just turns out to be a POS who will abuse his own people. At another point in the story he sees some Tauren about to rape his brothers wife and he finds it disgusting so he intervenes and injures the Tauren only for him to go and rape the woman himself. Ya, that's the type of retarded logic the author keeps putting out and he wants people to see the MC as the so called hero lol He gets enraged over and over at the actions of his enemies when he himself is carrying out the same actions or even worse but, because it's the MC the author thinks people are stupid enough to just turn a blind eye to the blatant hypocrisy! For the first 600+ chapters its pretty obvious that the author is a virgin who has no idea what it's like to be with a woman. After that he just starts writing to live out his personal NTR Fantasies. It's the same damn plot over and over and the next 1000+ chapters after that. The only thing that changes is the location and names. Why Chinese idiots paid for this is beyond me. Around 1300 Things go to **** and fast! The story then completely shifts away from the main story so that for over 300+ chapters the MC going can go Tribe from Tribe of different animal species yet, do the same damn thing every chapter. He arrives, taunts the leader, beats him and screws their wives/relatives. If you can name an animal then there was a chapter where the MC went to that animal tribe and raped it's women. What makes it even more hysterical is he gets enraged and disgusted when he sees some men and woman having an orgy and of course kills them and takes the women. I actually find myself wishing someone would kidnap and screw some of his wives to give him a little Karma
The story is initially intriguing, and no flaws were particularly obvious for at least 50 chapters or so. After that... well maybe the author had a sufficient following and got careless? There are a number of instances that are tiresome but bearable; the almost obligatory "China #1" plugs, frequent contradictions in his descriptions of incidental motivations or consequences, the logical flaw in "completely conquered people are more loyal than allies" (until they believe they have a chance at rebelling, obviously). What finally made me drop the book was the unfortunately common theme of "strong willed MC turns into putty in front of (in this case random) pretty women", which to me just speaks of shoddy character design. Clearly the story is popular enough, but for the readers who want a consistent and cohesive narrative, I don't recommend.
As someone who has caught up to the latest translation as of 24 January 2019. I suggest everyone give the novel a chance. The novel does start off awkwardly, but the author seems to pick up a sense of direction not too long after. There are several ideas that the author wants to bring to fruition, and they are very ambitious. It'll be interesting to see how the author handles it. In terms of the MC: The MC is awkwardly developed in the beginning, but you start to accept the MC's change rather quickly. It's like how Miley Cyrus went from how she was in Hannah Montana to her song Wrecking Ball. In terms of kingdom building: It's fast in the beginning; because the author has many ambitious ideas that he wants to start on. But, the story does slow down to a nice pace later.
