8 HEAL SIS HEAL

Rose spent the next few days running around contacting several other kingdoms within the vicinity asking for their help but none came to her aid. That's when she came up with the plan to take a road trip to the Colestial coven near the Runaway kingdom. We will start our adventure as l like to call it in two days time.

During all of this, l had gotten what l presume to be a memory. It came to me in the most random fashion ever.

*flashback *

The rocky path leading to the stables provided comfort to my racing heart. Today l woke up feeling weird, my heart was beating out of my chest and my head was pounding out of my skull. The only thing l could think to do was take a walk to try and calm myself. The further down l walked, I could hear people talking from a distance and out of the blue, one of them started screaming out the work "Akindle" five consecutive times. My head started pounding even faster, my eyes got watery, the floor gave out and l fell on my knees. Pictures started racing through my mind and l could see a blury silhouette screaming in my direction saying 'Akia'. And just like that, the pain started to slowly fade away.

*End of flashback *

Making my way down the stairs and into the kitchen, l could see the staff lounging around engaged in conversation. They had not yet gotten accustomed to my presence and tended to act awkwardly around me. The moment they noticed my presence, the room got silent and l started shifting around uncomfortably.

Rose, as always, my angel decided to break the ice. She waved me over to where she was and introduced me to everyone in the kitchen. They stiffly waved in my directiom and slowly resumed their conversation.

The door of the kitchen opened yet again causing the kitchen to become dead silent. Master walked in, in all his glory and nodded at me to follow him outside. We walked side by side in silence as the sun shone down on us, the birds were chirping, singing songs of praise to the skies above thanking them for the great weather. The sprinklers were on, watering the grass and the garden looked majestic.

"I brought you out here to speak to you about your 'situation'" Master said breaking the silence.

"I wouldn't call it a 'situation' more like a theory Rose came up with that has yet to be proven" I said dialing down the situation.

"by the way, my name is Akia." I said.

" I'm glad you are starting to get your memories. I will be tagging along when you depart from here tomorrow"

Looking up at him in shock, he simply cocked his head to the side and raised a perfectly plucked eyebrow. The first time l saw his eyebrows, l was green with envy. How can a man have such perfect eyebrows. As we stood in silence, surprisingly it wasn't awkward, l kept rocking my heels back and forth and pouted my lips. As if getting the signal l was sending, he simply tilts his head at me and takes off in the opposite direction.

Making my way back into the house, I come to find Rose is no longer in the kitchen, no one is in the kitchen. I walk around the endless hallways and hear voices in the west wing of the castle. Walking towards the voices, l am shocked by what l overhear.

"Baby, you no longer have time for me these days. I have missed you" the pretty brunette with a sickingly sweet voice said

" I have told you countless times Britney that you and l are over. In actual fact we were never a thing. Please stop showing up to my house unannounced" Master said in a harsh tone

"Ryden, you will not use and dispose me as you wish. Do you know who l am" she countered. Ryden, the name suited him perfectly. Now it makes sense why Rose calls him master, because he is her boss and she his help.

"it's King Malloy to you. Now l will not repeat myself" A gasp made its way out of my mouth at the word King. Oh my goodness, realisation dawned on me that 'Master' is actually a king and his name is actually Ryden Molloy.

" is it because of the stray dog you decided to shelter. I heard the help call her a witch. Did she put a spell on you" and statement made my ears perk up. I waited anxiously for his response

" it wouldn't take a witch for me to see you for what you really are, a worthless tramp. Now if you have nothing better to say that reiterate ignorant gossip, you can take your leave. Excuse me" and with that he was making his way to the door. Looking for an escape, l ran to a nearby door and threw myself inside just as the door to the room Ryden was in opened.

The sound of his footsteps faided into nothingness and l took that as my queue to leave the room l was in. Just as l made my way out, the Britney character made her way out of her room as well. Before l could register the situation l put myself in, she turned her head in my direction and a smirk made its way onto her perfectly carved lips. This woman was drop dead gorgeous, with her smoldering grey orbs and elongated eyelashes. Her pale skin provided a deep contrast to her perfectly curled brunette hair. Her red dress highlighted her perfectly carved figure and oh my did my confidence not drop to an all time low. She took slow menacing steps in my direction and an evil laugh rose from her chest.

"My oh my, if it isn't the most talked about vile creature. The word on the street has done you no justice dear. Word of advice, if you for the life of me try to put dirty claws on my man, l will ruin you." she said sounding like all the evil villains in fairytale movies.

All l could do was laugh at my thoughts. She looked at me like l was crazy and started taping her shoes on the tiled floor to signal her annoyance.

" To think l thought of you as beautiful must have been very shallow of me. I can see your brittle little heart is clouding your comprehension skills. Heal sis, heal" I said to her while sobering up. Her mouth dropped to the floor and l took that as my opportunity to walk away.
