5 Episode 5

In the principals office.

The principal was on his phone, attending a call. The vice principal came inside with a pale face. The principal saw this and knew something big happened, he immediately put the phone down.

"Mr. Evans, Jacq Gremni was involved in a fight just a few minutes ago!" The vice principal spoke in a low but urgent tone.

"This..." The principal dropped his pen that was in his hand. He had a look of disbelief on his face.

"What do we do Mr. Evans?" The vice principal spoke again, this time slowly.

"What can we do? How did this even happen? If they get the wind of this, I fear out school might shut down, thus we need to handle this matter efficiently," Mr. Evans replied back with sweat on his forehead.

"We checked the security cameras and this is how it happened..." the vice principal proceeded to explain the events that had unfolded regarding Jacq and the seniors.

"So the seniors are at fault. They will be suspended for a week. Make sure you write down why they are suspended on the OSS ticket (Out of School Suspension). As for Jacq... we can't just leave him like this, it would make the parents of other students suspicious. Bring him in here... lets discuss this with him," the principal made his decision.

Jacq waited outside with the other three students, the police officer. Seeing that the situation was under control, the other teachers and students had left. Now they were just waiting for the punishments to be carried out.

Soon the vice principal came back to the room with all the parties involved. He looked at the three seniors and then to the police officer before telling the latter, "Take them to the other room and have the teacher there write them up. Seven days OSS, and you Jacq, come with me."

The three seniors looked at Jacq as if he had killed their family but made no comments and followed the police officer. They knew he would also get punished and they can always handle things outside of school.

Jacq followed the vice principal into the Principal's office. His small heart was pounding furiously, but this was something he had seen coming.

"So Jacq, was it really the best thing to fight back like that?" The principal asked when Jacq sat down.

Jacq looked at the principal, a bulky man who was in his 50's with a strong jaw line. He had grey and black hair, but his beard and mustache were fully white and grey. He was a retired army veteran who still had the feeling of an army personnel extruding from him.

Jacq felt a little scared looking at the towering giant. Although Mr. Evans was sitting down, he was still gigantic compared to the small fragile Jacq. "He must be at least two meters tall..." Jacq made this evaluation of Mr. Evans after looking at him.

"Mr. Evans sir, if I did not fight back, I would have ended up in a much worse situation than I currently am. However I do agree. I should not have hurt them that badly, but I did not know they would be so weak." Jacq replied back after calming down.

Mr. Evans and the vice principal exchanged looks before the former broke out laughing.

"Ha ha ha."

"Such big words for a small boy. But I suppose you have the right to say that. After all, you did just fight against three others who were older than you and still won. Those three have been suspended for a week. What should we do with you?" Mr. Evans spoke after he finished laughing.

"I would say suspend me too. I broke a rule and need to be punished as well," Jacq replied.

"Very good! You have an honest heart, that's a good trait to have. We shall give you a two days OSS as well. Do you think that is reasonable Jacq?" Mr. Evans tested the waters. He had to make sure this ended as soon as possible and with good results.

"I have no objections," Jacq answered.

"Ok, follow Mr. Louis back to the other room and wait for your OSS ticket. If you have any issues like this in the future, let me know." Mr. Evans told Jacq.

"Yes Mr. Evans." Jacq replied before following Mr. Louis to the other room.

After giving Jacq his ticket, Mr. Louis came back into the office. The two discussed what had just happened and were very happy with the results.

"Looks like we passed a calamity. If Jacq had made a fuss, the higher ups would most likely had sent someone over. Thankfully Jacq is not as troublesome as he seems. He may be an odd child, but he is honest." Mr. Evans evaluated Jacq.

"It would seem so Mr. Evans," Mr. Louis agreed.

Jacq walked down the hall with the yellow OSS ticket in his hands. The whole situation had taken quite a bit of time. By the time they had finished, it was already end of the current class and students were walking around the halls to their next classes. Due to this, the halls were quite packed.

Even though everyone was busy, they all had noticed one thing. The quiet strange boy had a yellow OSS ticket. This would have been shocking originally since Jacq was known to be a good student. However everyone already heard that he had fought against three seniors.

The other freshmen looked at Jacq with respect in their eyes. To be able to fight against three seniors and win, this was worthy of their respect.

Under their gaze, Jacq walked out of the school and headed home. He didn't mind getting off early today. After all, today was his birthday and he would be enjoying it with another person for once.

When Jacq arrived home, he noticed it was a little after one. He saw Dorathi had just finished cleaning up the living room before she realized he had came home. Of course she knew he had arrived sooner, she also knew what had happened at school. But she was a "maid" so she acted as such.

"You are home early, everything ok?" Dorathi asked.

"Yes everything is fine... I will be taking school off for two days as well." Jacq replied.

"Oh ok, that's fine too. Taking a break from school is not recommended but sometimes you just need a few days off," Dorathi spoke with a pleasing voice. "On the bright side, we can start your birthday a bit early."

"Yes!" Jacq did not really care for what happened at school. This was the moment he was waiting for. Soon he would be cutting his birthday cake, and there would be someone near him to celebrate with him.

Jacq put away his stuff and did his daily exercise. After working up a sweat and cooling down with cool down exercises, he took a shower.

"Jacq its time to cut the cake," Dorathi's voice sounded from the kitchen.

Jacq had finished showering and was putting on his clothes when he heard her. He quickly finished and ran towards the door, his little heart was beating faster. This was the moment he was waiting for.
