As the Outer Disciple walked away, he heard Elder Hugo's voice in his ears, "If you perform spectacularly, I will accept you as my Direct Disciple." Hearing such an exquisite offer, the Outer Disciple could not contain his excitement as he started to use his Spiritual Technique to cover the distance to the camp from where he was. A Direct Disciple was only below the Core Disciples of the Sect! One could only become a Direct or a Core Disciple by sheer luck! Even the Inner Disciples would have to make way for a Direct Disciple of an Elder. With Elder Hugo as the Disciplinary Elder, his Direct Disciples would naturally have more say over others.

With great gusto, the disciple arrived to the camp and found a youth from Jamaica. The youth had similar body structure as the disciple and was only in his late teen years. "Even his skin tone is similar to mine, this youth is the perfect choice," the disciple said to himself as he neared the teen. "Hey, follow me. Elder Hugo wishes to speak to you as he sees there is something special about you. Your body structure makes you the perfect candidate to impart a Body Cultivation Method to represent the elder's choice as a potential Outer Disciple."

The Jamaican teen looked over with his eyes shining. This was the perfect opportunity for him to obtain success and possibly gain a foot hold once they all arrived at the battle grounds. Without asking anything, the teen followed the disciple to the elder's chambers where he was killed, then Elder Hugo altered the disciples looks and placed the token to seal his Spiritual Energy. By the time he had finished, he couldn't tell the disciple apart from the teen he had just murdered in cold blood. The disciple of the other elder also used a similar plan, but this time he used Spiritual Cultivation Method as the bait. They both began to adjust to their new roles while the timer to land was slowly reduced.

About sixteen hours later, Nero's voice resounded, "I have made the semi perfect Cultivation Method!"

"Huh? What?? Oh! You finished!" Jacq replied as he woke up from his sleep. While he was waiting for Nero, Jacq entered a calm state of mind to meditate, but ended up falling asleep. Nero had chosen to leave the boy alone as he knew Jacq was tired from the knowledge overload. Knowing things is one thing, but understanding it is what matters. Jacq could know all the Cultivation Methods, but that would be pointless if he did not understand how to use them correctly.

"Yes! I call this one the "Quasi God's Cultivation", and trust me, it will put you leagues ahead of those in the same Realm as you!" Nero replied excitedly. He seemed quite pleased with himself from the sounds of it.

"Quasi? If I remember correctly, doesn't Quasi mean it is partial?" Jacq replied back confused.

"Yes this is a partial Cultivation Method. Once you become stronger and find other Cultivation Methods scattered across the universe, I will be able to re-adjust this so that it becomes a full God's Cultivation. The lack of strong Cultivation Methods that I have seen on this ship and in the light novels only allowed me to produce this partial one. But do not fear! It may sound like a fake, however it focuses on both your Body and Spiritual Cultivation." Nero gave an explanation that cleared Jacq's doubts about the Cultivation Method.

"That's possible? I read in the Introductory Book that a cultivator could only focus on one type of cultivation. The Spiritual Cultivation requires a vast amount of time to understand and become stronger. It could take hundreds of years to cultivate a full Realm in cultivation! Body Cultivation is even more harsh! To become stronger, you would need to temper your flesh to withstand pain. The higher you go, the more pain you need to undergo. No one has ever reached above Spirit Building Realm, but even that allows them to fight head to head with a Spiritual Cultivator at the Spirit Refining Middle Level," Jacq asked back with some doubt.

"Jacq, just because things have not been discovered before does not mean they do not exist. And I assure you, there have been plenty of Body Cultivators who transcended this plane. Now let me impart this method to your soul so that you can memorize and start training in it once you arrive on Gyoaph. I will also give you the cover up method. If anyone asks, just tell them it is the Ember Spiritual Cultivation Method. This one will focus on the Fire Roots in your body, don't worry, I will alter your roots so anytime someone checks it, they will only see the Fire Roots." Nero explained as he imparted the Quasi God's Cultivation to Jacq's soul.

"True, just because I haven't seen it doesn't mean it is not real," Jacq replied as he looked over the Quasi God's Cultivation excitedly. This Cultivation Method was made specifically for him, so he was ready to test it out. As he reviewed it, he remembered the Spirit Roots in the cultivator's body. There were six primary ones: Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Light and Dark. Of course there were mutated ones too, but they were rarely seen and when one was born, the Sects would fight each other to determine who would take them as a Core Disciple. A Mutated Root had a high chance to reach the Spirit Pillar Realm because they could cultivate faster than normal Spiritual Roots.

The biggest difference between regular Spiritual Roots and Mutated ones is this: Spiritual Roots require only one element. Mutated Roots on the other hand require a pair of elements coming together and giving birth to a new element that is not a single element. The new element has the two different elements inside of it, in short this is the offspring of the primary elements.

There are only a handful of Mutated roots to be discovered as of now. The Steam Root, this is the offspring of the Water and Fire element. The Dust Root is a Mutated Root that was discovered when the Air and Earth elements collided. The Lava Root was found after the Fire and Earth elements fused. The last Mutated Root that was a little strange. It was a mixture of the Water and Air elements. This one was called the Rain Root. So far, no one has discovered Mutated Roots that have used the primary elements of Light and Dark. No one knows if such a mutation exists or not either.

"Well now you have the Cultivation Methods, I suppose it is time for me to impart to you some Spiritual Techniques. This one will be the basic, it is called the Four Pointed Star. It will allow you to absorb damage and distribute it to four points on the group, but if done incorrectly, you will take damage to your four limbs. And if by chance you are missing a limb... well.. there are two more.. "limbs" that will be used to replace a missing limb. The selection is random, it could be your head, or that," Nero said with a gloomy voice.

"You don't mean "THAT" right?" Jacq jumped up after hearing Nero.

"Yes I mean "THAT". So be careful when you use this, if you are down to three limbs, resort to other techniques." As Nero spoke, Jacq felt a chill go down his spine. He swore to never use this technique if he was missing a limb. Nero then proceeded to teaching him an attack technique. "This one is called the "Flame Shock", it uses extreme speed to approach the target so you can deal a massive amount of damage while they are defenseless. This will also provide your Fire Cultivation Method another layer of protection. If anyone sees you using a different element technique, they would question you. It is not impossible for cultivators to accomplish this as they become stronger. But for someone who just started, it is a dead giveaway that they have some heavenly treasure. People will torture your soul to understand how a person new to the Cultivation World can successfully accomplish what only those at the Spirit Building Realm can do."

Jacq had started paying close attention to everything Nero had told him and he understood that the Cultivation World was where the strong survived. If he had secrets, he better become strong to protect those secrets.

"I understand!" he replied back in a serious tone. Jacq spent the next six hours comprehending the Quasi God's Cultivation as well as his two new Spiritual Arts. He had already spent one hour talking to Nero after being awoken to the good news about the Quasi God's Cultivation. He tried to rush his understanding, but Nero told him to relax. After all, he had six entire months to understand everything about these two Spiritual Arts and the Cultivation method. Better do it correctly instead of bull shitting it as Nero said. At this time a gong sounded.

"GONG".

"We will be landing in one hour, all trainees are to head over to their slots and prepare for landing. I will meet you once more to explain the rules of the competition," a voice that many dreaded had finally sounded. The time to start killed was near, literally an hour away.
