8 Unwanted Guest
After the classes were finished everyone started to head home.
Eliza and others parted ways down the road.
Isabelle has returned to her room in the royal place.
The Royal place has been built by the previous emperor of the Sleozia Empire. It is built in by cutting the mountain and has been fortified by the natural mountain which surrounds the palace.
The palace has a big beautiful garden at the center of it which has very beautiful flowers which can be compared to the beauty of the mythical garden of the Babylon which was recorded in the ancient text.
The Palace is very vast, a single person will not be able to visit every part of the palace in a single day.
The palace is divided in to the three areas
outer area, Inner area and core area.
Outer area is open to the public for visiting and it is strictly guarded by the royal knights. More than 500 Knights guard this area keeping an eye for every suspicious who can be a threat to the Palace.
Inner area is not open to the public, normal people are not allowed to enter this area of the Palace. Only noble and some high-ranking officials are allowed to enter the Inner part. This part of the Royal Palace is guarded by the elites of the Royal army who have proven their worth to the Empire in countless battles and have dedicated their whole life to the safety and welfare of the empire.
Then comes the Core area of the Royal Palace.
This is the part where the royal family lives.
Nobody is allowed to enter this area without the permission of the Emperor himself. It is guarded by the most elite knights of the Empire, Assassins and Spies they work their whole life in the protection of the Royal Family, that is their reason for being, they only serve the Emperor and nobody else.
Only the Royal Family know about their existence, no noble nor any official is aware of the fact that they exist only the Royal family is aware.
Isabelle`s room is in the core area of the Palace.
She is resting in her room thinking about what happened in the academy yesterday.
Worrying herself what will happen that type of incident were to happen again, will the academy be able to handle it or not.
She said to herself "I should not think about this, the Academy will take care of it."
After saying this she heads to the bath.
The bath is very huge, you can fit almost 200 people at the same time in the bath.
The water in the bath is always fresh, why is that?
Because the water itself comes from the mountain, ever flowing into the bath as a beautiful fountain.
She entered the bath wearing nothing but a bathrobe, and started to enter the water. The water is refreshing to the soul; it removes all the sour and stress of the body.
She said to herself "Nothing beats a refreshing bath after a long day."
Then she took a deep breath.
After relaxing for some time, she heard a voice of a woman from the other side of the bath.
The voice said "You are right about that, nothing beats a good refreshing bath after a long day."
Isabelle replied "Yes, you are right."
After replying to her she continued to enjoy her.
Then suddenly she realised something was wrong.
Indeed, something is wrong, nobody is allowed to enter the bath whenever Princess Isabelle is using it. It includes Maids, servants, Knights and not even her own royal family.
She likes to enjoy the bath without any disturbance and in silence alone.
She quickly gets up and deployed a magic shield as she knows already no will ever disturb her during the bath except for an enemy.
She asked "who are you and how did you get in here?"
The voice replied "Now, don`t be so impatient as it will ruin the mood."
She asked again "Show yourself right now, or it will not be good for you."
The voice replied "huh, I am enjoying my bath right now and I don't want to be disturbed, As this is the once in a lifetime chance to the Royal Bath of the Great Sleozia Empire."
Isabelle gives her a warning If she didn't show herself then she will be forced to attack her.
The voice replied "Okay I will show myself, as I don't want any harm to come to this beautiful bath."
Then she heard the voice of the water moving and from the other side a figure starting to emerge from the other side.
Slowly she was able to make out the outline of the person.
Then soon that person revealed itself.
She was a girl just like her, maybe a little older than her but no older than 20 years of age.
She too is wearing a bathrobe and has her hairs warped around in the towel just like Isabelle.
Isabelle didn`t remember her to be an acquaintance .
She asked her "who are you and how did you get in here?"
Girl replied to her question "I am known as Leo, and I am just a visitor here at Royal Palace."
Isabelle said "Oh please don't be ridiculous, nobody can enter the Core area of the Royal Palace."
Leo replied "And yet here I am standing right before you."
Isabelle started chanting a defence spell to protect herself.
"Great lord please heed my request, I am your humbly child, I am in need of your help, please grant me power to protect myself"
Soon a magic shield formed around her to protect her from harm.
Leo replied "Please there is no need to be cautious of me, I will not harm you in any way. Besides, it's not like that could protect you from me."
Isabelle smirk and replied "Oh this is one of the highest levels of the magic shield that cannot be penetrated with 10 canon, this is exclusive to Royal Family."
Beside Isabelle didn`t sense any kind of mana and aura from her, she is confident that Leo will not be able to harm in any way, since she does not possess any kind of Mana and Aura.
Leo replied "Is That So, Why not give it a try."
Isabelle nodded in agreement.
Then the next instant she was laying on the floor, fainted.
It took her quite some time for her to regain consciousness, as she woke up she began to think what just happened, was that all a dream or not?
She told herself maybe I was too tired that I fainted and had that dream. I should quickly take the bath and get back to my room for rest.
Then she enters the bath once again and closes her eyes to enjoy the bath.
Suddenly a voice of a girl said "Didn`t I told you that a flimsy looking shield like that will not be able to protect you."
Fear goes down through Isabelle`s spine and there was terror in her eyes.
She turned around and saw a girl standing there.
The girl replied "Don`t be afraid, didn`t I tell you earlier that I will not hurt you."
Isabelle took a deep breath to calm herself.
Then some images flash through her brain.
It was the memory of her fight with Leo.
She asked Leo "how were you able to destroy my shield?"
Leo shows her right hand and closes her finger to form a fist and replies "With This Right Here."
Isabelle replied "Please don't joke around, that shield was able to defend against 10 canons at the same time. And you are telling me broke through with just a punch alone. Tell me how did you break it.."
Leo replied "what, you don't believe me, Try to remember what exactly happened."
Isabelle tries to remember what happened.
She does remember herself deploying the shield. But after that she provoked Leo to attack her, As she was sure of herself and her ability to defend.
Then she suddenly remembered Leo coming to attack her, it was so fast that normal humans will not be able to see what happened and then she pulled her right hand back to form a punch and punched through her shield, shattering it into pieces.
She asked Leo "You said you will not hurt me, then why did you punch me unconscious."
To her question Leo replied "Oh that, I didn't even touch you in the slightest you were unconscious because at the last moment your body released all of Mana in order to defend itself and that causes you to become fainted."
Then suddenly the door of the bathing area is opened and the Emperor of Sleozia Empire and The Empress enter the room.
Isabelle was scared that his father would harm Leo, as she did not ask her father's permission before bringing her to the Core area of Royal Palace.
They punish Leo and Leo will harm her father and mother so in order to avoid any conflict between them.
She told her father and mother "Leo is her friend from the academy and she asked her to come to the palace with her as she wanted to discuss something in private. She will accept any punishment her father will give to her so will you let Leo go."
But both his father and mother didn't listen to her word and started advancing towards Leo.
They both stopped right in front of her.
Then to the shocked surprise of Isabelle.
Both the Emperor and Empress bowed down to one knee in front of Leo and asked for forgiveness of her foolish daughter if she had done something to discomfort Miss Leo.
Isabelle is in a great shock as she didn`t see her parents bowing down in front of anyone in her life ever.
She asked Leo and Her parents "what is happening here."
Her father replied "Shut your mouth and ask for the forgiveness of Miss Leo or otherwise I will personally make sure to punish you."
Leo replied "There is no need for that, she didn't cause me any discomfort and besides i have taken a liking towards her."
