13 Test Ended

Lumia took a step back thinking the next attack will be at her chest and a cut from right to left. And she was right; she got a cut from exactly the way she had thought.

By now her whole body is covered in scars and cuts from the attack which she had no idea where they are coming from and what is causing them.

But there is one thing which she is sure about, She will get attacked only on the places where she thought she will be attacked and in which pattern she will be attacked.

She stopped moving and started to remember how her father would have faced the current situation.

She knew that her father was a master swordsman. She tries to remember how her father fights, then she remembers one key thing about her father `s swordplay.

Whenever her father was practicing or fighting an opponent he never let his thoughts get disturbed by anything.

He was always in control of his thoughts and not the other way around.

He was able to control his thoughts and stay focused.

But right now, Lumia is the opposite of her father; she is unable to control her thoughts, Because of which she wasn't able to focus on the current situation.

She took a deep breath and calmed herself down.

She begins thinking again but this time she solely focuses on the one thing and that is her mind.

She goes into a meditation state but she is still getting cuts and scars.

She didn't pay it any attention and soon bit by bit, slowly the number of cuts she is getting kept decreasing.

Now it has come down close to none.

Sword spirit looked pleased.

Then a time comes when she is not getting any cuts or scars.

She slowly opened her eyes and in front of her was nothing except sword spirit.

Sword spirit asked "My dear, were you able to find the answer to my question?"

Lumia said "Yes, Miss Sword Spirit. I was able to find the answer."

Sword spirit replied "oh, please do tell me the answer."

Lumia replied "As you wish, the answer to your question is Imagination and Thoughts."

Sword spirit replied "very well my dear, you have answered my question correctly. Now all that remains is to test you by myself."

Lumia became shocked upon hearing this. She never had thought that she had to face the sword spirit herself.

Sword spirit replied "please do not try to hold yourself back, as you might lose your life this, this little battle of ours will be a single strike fight. The one who will strike first will win and there are no second chances."

Sword spirit steps forward and starts to transform to a physical form, her figure started to shrink down to that of a child. As the transformation is completed it is revealed that sword spirit has taken the form of the Lumia, A exact mirror copy of Lumia, As if looking into the mirror is a perfect reflection.

Lumia said "Are you going to battle my form?"

Sword spirit replied "Yes, as if it took any other form it will be a one sided battle."

Lumia replied "I understand, Now let's start."

Sword spirit and Lumia are standing across each other, while facing each other.

Both of them are holding the same exact sword.

Now all that remains is to wait for others to make a move.

Lumia was the one who first took the initiative to strike first. She rushed towards sword spirit, but sword spirit didn't move out of the way, and Lumia swung her sword but her strike didn`t connect.

Sword spirit dodged the strike by using the minimum movement required.

Now it is the sword spirit who swings her sword to strike Lumia, the strike was directly aimed at her heart if the strike connects, she will definitely die from the sword stab.

She immediately took the defensive pose to block the sword attack. But she was not able to fully block the attack properly. Because of this her body took some damage.

She felt a terrible pain across her whole body.

Now both of them get back from each other, getting back to the same location where they both started.

Lumia said "Did I pass the test?"

Sword spirit replied "Oh, not yet my dear, as you can see the first one to strike will determine the winner of this. But neither you nor I was able to strike each other."

Lumia replied "Shall we try again then."

Right after Lumia finished her sentence she rushed towards the sword spirit to attack her, Again she swung her sword to attack her but sword spirit dodged once again.

Sword spirit swings her sword to attack her but Lumia defends once like last time.

The result was the same as the last time, no successful strike landed to the opponent.

Then they tried again and again but the result was the same as always, but Lumia seems to get faster each time, even if she was just a tiny bit fast, there is improvement in her speed each time she tries to attack.

Then the sword spirit said "This is the last time we do this, if you lose this chance to land a successful strike, then I will be taking your life and you can say goodbye to this world."

Lumia replied "I understand."

Lumia draws her sword one last time and closes her eyes to clear her mind from everything.

She opened her eyes and said "I am ready, prepare yourself as I will be definitely defeating you this time."

She goes towards the sword spirit but this she was walking instead of rushing like she has been doing from the start.

Sword spirit also began walking towards her in response to her move.

Both of them meet in the middle to attack each other, sword spirit raises her sword to strike Lumia and she swings the sword.

The sword strike is fast, lightning no normal can see the sword. It looks like this is the last thing Lumia will see before her death.

But Lumia dodges her sword with the same exact minimal movement that sword spirit has been using all this time to dodge Lumia`s strike and immediately shifted into counterattack.

Seeing this, the sword spirit took the defensive pose to defend herself from Lumia`s attack, she blocked the path of the Lumia`s sword using her own sword.

Lumia continued with her strike without a care in the world as the Lumia`s sword connected with the sword spirits sword.

Sword Spirit`s sword has been cut into two halves and Lumia`s sword didn`t stop and kept the movement eventually cutting the sword spirit in half.

Sword spirit body fell apart and degenerated into nothing.

Now sword spirit is back into spirit form.

Lumia looked up towards the sword spirit.

Sword spirit is looking happy, she can't tell it because she can't see her face`s expression but she can definitely feel it.

Sword spirit spoke "Very Well Lumia, you have passed all of the tests that I have for you."

Lumia replied "I am very pleased to hear that."

Sword spirit said "Now then we should do the ritual so that you can use me."

Lumia looked towards the sword spirit as she started changing into a sword, the sword which Lumia was holding also flew towards her and merged into one sword.

The size of the sword keeps increasing bit by bit, until the size becomes so large you cannot see the end of the sword or handle it.

The sword became unimaginably large, Large enough to cut the whole world apart.

Lumia has a surprised look on his face and she can't even comprehend what is going on right now.

Then the size of the sword began to decrease and it shrunk down to its previous size which was the size it was holding before coming into this world.

Then it stabbed Lumia into her heart and began to go inside her body.

Lumia is now screaming in pain as the sword has just pierced into her heart and is going into her body.

Then before she knew it she fainted from extreme pain.

Later when she woke up she was still in the sword spirit`s world and the sword spirit was standing right next to her.

Lumia looked around and asked "what is going on?"

Sword spirit replied "You and I have become one for all eternity as you are the only who was able to clear all of my tests and answer my question."

Lumia said ��Thank you, and I need your help, will you help me."

Sword spirit replied "You do not need to ask my permission as you and I have become one, it is natural that I will help you. Speak up girl."

Lumia said "oh very well then, will you please help me train? I want to be stronger."

Sword spirit has a surprised look on her face.

Lumia said "did I ask for too much or did I say something wrong?"

Sword spirit replied "No, it is not that, It's just that your training is already completed."

Lumia fell into confusion and asked "When did it happen?"

Sword spirit replied "The test was not there just so that you can answer them and own me. They are also the training so that when you complete all the tests you can control me and don't die because of my power."

Lumia asked "How?"

Sword replied "I will explain to you how they work."
