12 Sword Spirit
It has been 3 days Lumia killed the beast and is now walking all alone in the forest.
She is looking for a place to live inside the forest.
Why is she looking for a place to live inside a forest full of ferocious beasts and monster, Reason is simple: she wants to become stronger, far stronger than anyone else.
She is planning to train in the forest by fighting against the beast.
But right now she still hasn't found a place to settle down.
As she kept walking she stumbled upon an empty area of the forest, it is not too big but it is big enough for her to settle down.
There is not a lot of vegetation in that area for some reason and there were no trees there. It saves her the trouble to clean up the area.
She took a look around nearby areas of this place. This area is surprisingly close to a river so the water will not be a problem, as she can go there whenever she wants to.
She has decided that this is the place where she will be staying.
She begins to look around for branches and leave to make a temporary shelter.
She collected some branches and fallen leaves which she found nearby and began making a small shelter, she uses the branches as the base structure for the shelter.
And covered it with leave so that it will protect her from rain.
She uses tree twines to tie the structure together.
Building a shelter all alone is very difficult for her body as she is still a 6-year-old child.
But somehow, she was able to complete the build.
Now it is time to start her training, She took out her sword from its sheath and asked if she will help her train and be her partner for the rest of her life.
Then she heard a voice of a woman, she looked around to check from where the voice was but she didn't find anything and she was sure there was no-one in the forest.
Then the voice spoke again, this time she was able to locate the source of the voice, the voice was coming from the sword.
The voice said "If that is your wish then prove to me that you are worthy of me, worthy of holding me, worthy of using me. If you have what it takes to be my partner then I shall give you the whole world if you desire so."
Lumia replied "Tell me what I can do to prove myself, I will do everything to prove myself." Without a second thought.
Then a bright light started to come out of the sword.
And it consumes Lumia`s whole body and she disappears into the light.
She opened her light and saw a woman standing there with different types of multiple swords flying around her in an orderly manner.
But she was not able to identify her as all she was seeing a figure of a woman made entirely out of light.
Lumia asked "who are you."
Women replied "I am the sword spirit and I will be testing you if you are worthy of me."
Lumia replied "Okay, I will do everything I can to prove myself, tell me how I can prove myself."
Sword spirit replied "I will be testing you mentally and physically while asking you questions. If you fail to answer the question in a given time period then it's over for you."
Lumia nodded in yes and thus her test began.
The first question she asked "I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but come alive with wind. Tell me what am I?"
As soon as she finished the question a sword began flying towards her and scratched her cheek.
Then the sword spirit said "As I told you earlier, fail to answer within a set period of time, it's over for you and I meant your life."
The sword returns to the sword spirit.
Sword spirit said "This was just a warning now to answer the question or prepare to die."
Lumia began thinking what his answer was, then she heard the sword moving and saw it coming towards her, she was barely able to dodge the sword by moving out of the way.
But this move interrupted her thought. She begins thinking from the start.
Again the sword started flying towards her but this time she was able to find the answer.
She said "Echo, The answer is echo."
The sword which was flying towards her stopped at the last moment touching her forehead. If she was just a split second late she would be dead.
The sword dropped to the ground.
Sword spirit said "very well your answer is correct and the sword at the ground is now yours. you can use it to defend yourself to attack, use is however you want to. Now time for the second question."
Lumia picked up the sword and saw the word "Sound" written on the handle.
Sword spirit begins her second question "I have cities, But no house. I have mountains, But no trees. I have water, But no fish. Tell me what am I?"
This time 4 swords started to move towards Lumia.
She begins thinking while focusing on the sword to make sure she can dodge them, moment by moment passes by.
Distance between her and the sword is getting shorter.
She was not able to get to the answer in time and took the sword to defend herself from the coming sword.
She was able to dodge two of them but one sword stabbed her leg and the last sword is still flying towards her.
She used the sword which she got earlier to block its attack.
She diverted the sword and was able to make sure it didn't stab her.
Then she felt pain from her leg and saw a sword had stabbed her leg, she screams in pain but this time she was able to control herself instead of fainting like last time.
She saw the other 3 swords turning back and flying back towards her.
She showed a small smile and said "Map, Map is the answer to your question."
The other 3 swords stopped and fell to the ground like last time and the sword that had stabbed her leg also removed itself and fell on the ground.
Sword spirit asked "How were you able to determine the answer was Map?"
Lumia replied "at first I was not able to, but as I saw the sword turning back and returning to stab me, a thought went through my mind. Which gave me a hint to this question. Last time the answer was Echo and the word "Sound" was written on the sword. So this time the answer should be a map as the sword was able to turn back as if they made a wrong turn and corrected the path. Just like using the map."
Sword spirit replied "Very well little girl, you are right."
Then 4 swords and the sword she was holding began floating in front of Lumia and fused together to form a single sword.
Sword spirit replied "Very well then, we shall now begin the third question. I am at the start of eternity, At end of eternity, I have seen the birth of everything and End of everything. I am harmless to everyone yet I can kill and destroy everything. What am I?"
With a total of 10 swords begin flying towards Lumia, she must answer the question or risk being killed.
One by one the sword started flying towards her, she tried to dodge and counter them. But her moment is too sloppy and has a lot of wasteful moments.
She must eliminate every wasteful moment in her move and at the same time think of the answer to her question.
She remembers her father`s saying "A sword and body must move in harmony, only then one can remove the unnecessary moment."
She loosened her grip on the sword as she understood she was holding the sword too tight and started focusing the sword which was flying around her.
A sword began flying towards her but it did not stab her, she was able to dodge the attack with very little movement than her previous self.
She started focusing on the rest of the sword. As each sword flew by her, she was able to shed even more unnecessary moments bit by bit repeating this process. She was able to remove every unnecessary moment that there is and was also able to shed down the time it takes to react then suddenly answer hit her.
She replied to the sword spirit "The answer to your question is `Time` ".
Then all the swords stopped moving and fell on the ground.
Sword spirit replied "Very well little girl, your answer is correct."
Then all the swords started floating in front of her and began to fuse into one sword like the last time.
Sword spirit said "You have impressed me, by far you are the fastest to answer my questions and was able to survive without getting any major injury, May I know your name little girl?"
Lumia replied "My name is Lumia A.D. Lawson"
Sword spirit asked "What does A.D. means in your name?"
Lumia replied "A stands for my mother`s name which was Aculre and D stands for my father`s name Devin."
Sword spirit replied "Thank you my dear, now shall we begin our next question"
Lumia smiles and nods in confirmation.
Sword spirit asked "I soar without wings; I see without eyes. I've travelled the universe to and from. I've conquered the world, yet I've never been anywhere but home. Who am I?"
This time there were no swords floating or attacking Lumia from anywhere, but for some reason she still gets cuts from multiple places.
She took a defensive stance and looked all around her.
But she didn't find anything. Then again, she got a new cut on her left arm. Then again and again she got multiple cuts all over her body, still she was not able to find the source of these attacks and how she is getting cuts.
She looked at the sword spirit thinking she might give her some kind of clue. Sword spirit said "No point in looking at me, I am not doing anything."
Lumia took a step back thinking the next attack will be at her chest and a cut from right to left. And she was right; she got a cut from exactly the way she had thought.
