The Invite

After settling down, Auntie Mia called Azure downstairs to discuss about something.

"Azure, is alright if you accompany Auntie somewhere?" Auntie Mia questioned.

There was no gesture of acknowledgement from the other party so the little aunt continued to probe further.

"You see, I got two tickets to a gala and my partner bailed on me. So I was wondering if you could do this little aunt a favor and be her companion?"

Azure thought for a few moments before she nodded her reply.

"Great! I already had a dress picked out for you, also we will be leaving in evening. The dress in already in your room, go up and change."

Soon after Auntie Mia said that, she quickly ushered Azure upstairs.

Azure looked at the dress with a very small but dull twinkle in her eyes.

"The dress is nice but eh.." she thought to herself.
