13 The Harm in Scandals and Rumors

Later on in the evening, Azure woke up to find a blanket on herself.

"Must have been aunt.." Azure thought to herself.

Azure got up and went downstairs to find her aunt staring at her phone with tears once again.

Azure went up to Mia and gently patted her on the back for comfort. This action was indeed kind and warm but Azure's face held no expression.

"Thanks...these things just get worse.." Mia cried to her niece, "But don't worry...I-I-I'll be s-strong..."

Mia took a tissue and wiped the tears from her face.

The entertainment world was often cruel. Scandals and rumors can ruin celebrities. Some people were strong but others were weak and it so happened to be that Mia was one of those weak ones.

She didn't want to be weak but she just was. She had always tried to stay strong but sometimes these things would get to her.

Azure decide it would be best for her to cook dinner because her aunt's condition wasn't good at all.

When the food was done, the two sat quietly face to face and ate dinner silently.

Right when they both had finished, Mia went straight to bed while Azure stayed behind to clean the dishes.
