Doll-like

The Williams Household:

Azure Williams sat silently in front of the window staring out the door. She had her usual lifeless expression as she watched a songbird outside sing from a tree. Ever since Azure's mother passed away, she has never spoken. All the servants in the house assumed that their young miss had become mute. They were all upset about this, of course, their miss had a lovely voice and with that voice came a beautiful singing voice.

In the past, whenever any servant walked by the Williams' household music room, they would always be able to hear their miss' gentle voice singing along with a piano. Azure was gifted with many talents, one of them included music. Her soft fingers worked well with playing any instrument. It was simply an exquisite sight watching Azure with her musical side turned on. She would always have a gentle smile on, along with a twinkle in her abnormal ocean blue eyes.

All the servants in the house knew exactly how Azure had picked up this side of her, it was simply because of her mother's love for music.

Ever since her mother had passed, the music room that Azure once occupied, now seemed empty, no one dared to enter the room like it was a taboo.

Azure's father nowadays was always immersed in work and he rarely paid attention to the daughter he use to always dot on. But every time Mr. Williams glances at his beloved daughter he would only be reminded of his wife, that he had loved so deeply.

Azure didn't react to any of this though. She wanted to but she simply didn't know how to nor did she feel anything towards it.

The girl who once always seemed to have been blooming with life, now acted like a lifeless doll. She didn't want to be like this but when her mother died, the impact was too much for her to handle and she became emotionless.

Her father hired many doctors and therapist to fix his daughter, but none of them ever succeed.

It's has already been 2 years since Azure's mother passed yet no one in the house seemed to be able to get over it, causing the house to constantly be surrounded in a gloomy aura.

Two hours had passed and Azure was still sitting by the window. All of the sudden, a maid came into her room and told her that her father requested to see her. Azure simply got up and walked downstairs. The moment she was down, she saw her father sitting there with an anxious and sorrowful look on his face. Hearing Azures light footsteps approaching, Azure's father instantly lifted up his head and said to his daughter, "It's over. Everything's over, Azure." Azure didn't know what was going on but she sat down anyways and stared at her father with the same lifeless look. "Turns out there was a mole in my company and he revealed all the company's secret to my enemy. Now he has brought down my whole company, all my stocks have plummeted and I have a huge debt now. The bank will be coming here tomorrow morning to take away this everything and I have no choice but to send you to your aunt's house for shelter. Not only will everything be taken away but I will too." Azure's father explained. Azure didn't react at all on the outside but inside she felt uneasy.

Seeing Azure showing no change in her expression, her father was a bit sad about this but he knew about his daughter's condition, so he was somewhat expecting this result.
