Chapter 3
[C]Hello It's me Cato. This is an AU and Here's a few things to say before we get into the story. This is and older version of Marinette and she's not Ladybug in this. Instead Adrien is Chat (still no change there) and Someone else is Ladybug (surprise person will be announced this chapter) Eventually Marinette will become Ladybug but I'm not gonna say how since I want you'll to be surprised. That's all I think so enjoy.

I looked at Chat as I registered what had just happened. I was still barely awake and couldn't figure out if this was real or not. Was I dreaming? How could he have possibly known? The only people that know are my mom, dad, the doctor, and Adrianna. So how could he have known. Did he say Ladybug told him? I couldn't tell if he was just joking or serious. After all the term is usually a little birdie not little Ladybug.
I rubbed my eyes and yawned loudly, before sitting myself back down on my bed. Chat walked over to me and sat down right next to me. We just sat there, not speaking nor moving. I eventually just leaned my head on him and fell asleep. I don't know how late he came, but when I woke up the next morning he was still there; Past out next to me. I smiled and started to get up, when he sat up and looked at me,
"Hey princess! Did you enjoy your beauty sleep?" Chat started to smile as he spoke. Good to see he was happy. I looked at him and nodded.
"Yeah I did... How did you know I was pregnant? Not only that but you said them, as if you knew they were twins?" I asked with an innocent glare making him confess.
"I told you a little Ladybug told me." Chat smiled as if what he had said was obvious.
"How did Ladybug know I was pregnant?" I asked my mind starting to collapse with confusion.
Chat got off the bed and came over to me, "all in good time princess, all in good time. When your ready you'll get the answers you seek." I looked at Chat confused. Why was he being so cryptic. Chat was never one for riddles. So why now? I gave him a stern glare and frowned.
"You got me pregnant the least you can do is tell me how you found out?" I was hoping maybe I could guilt him into telling me but I was terribly wrong.
"First off princess it takes two to make a child, and from what I heard you weren't even planing on telling me, so we're even. Now I get to kill you with suspense and you get the fun of not being the one to tell me about this pregnancy. I looked at Chat and realized how much I must've hurt him.
"Chat... I didn't mean to make you upset... it's just... I was scared okay. What if LIVE League found out? The people Hawkmoth worked for. They'll use me to get to you... to get your miraculous. I didn't want to risk it." I started to cry as my fears broke through, all my emotions were now coming out. I was pouring my heart out to Chat, all the while he sat down quietly listening. When I had finished he spoke up, his voice filled with confidence.
"I swear to you Marinette, I will never let that happen! No harm will come to you or out children! I'll make sure if that!" I'd never heard Chat sound so serious, he was confident he could protect me, and no one could tell him otherwise. I smiled and hugged him tight. I love Chat and felt terrible for not telling him.
"I'm sorry Chat! I should've told you first before anyone else..." I paused, "what are we gonna do, Chat? I answered my voice now nothing but a whisper.
He lifted my chin, his eyes meeting mine, "Princess is we're going to raise a family..." I knew exactly where this was going, "I need to show you my identity. I know your against it, but I have to... need to!" He paused waiting to hear my reply. When I didn't answer he continued, "I want to go out in public with you, hold you hand in front of everyone, take our kids to the park; Without the fear of our children's safety. Please Marinette, let me do this..." He looked at me his eyes full of pleas. I sighed and nodded.
Chat smiled and at me and stepped back his face full of love as he spoke, "Plagg; claws off!" Time seemed to freeze, the anticipation rising, as the transformation took place. Before I could see who he was I closed my eyes, my hands over my face. I was nervous and was to scared to look. I could hear chat walking over to me, I felt his warm hands wrap around mine pulling my hands away from my face. I could now see who he was.
"Adrien?!" I was shocked the father of my children was non other than Adrien Agreste, my old crush and best friends brother.! Wait does that mean Adrianna was that little Ladybug? "Is Adrianna Ladybug? Since your Chat and during your interviews you two have stated you siblings not a couple?" I asked connecting the pieces.
"Yeah and she knew I was with you... so she sorta spilt the beans." Chat... I mean Adrien started to laugh his voice filling the room. I smiled and started to giggle.
"Of course she did why wouldn't she tell her brother he's hashing kids! I acknowledged my friends habits of accidentally (purposely) spilling the tea. Adrien looked over at the door,
"Are we gonna go down to your parents bakery?" I smiled at Adrien as he spoke making me realize we still had my parents, who had no clue who the father is.
"Why not we might as well tell them your the father." I replied hoping Adrien was ready. He smiled nodding giving me the universal sign for okay. Adrien grabbed my hand and we started walking downstairs. Descending to the place my parents would greet us. As we approached them they were busy taking orders at the front desk. "Hey mom, dad?" I asked tapping their shoulders getting their attention. My parents turned around facing us.
Before either one could speak, Adrien spoke catching their attention. "Hi Mr. and Mrs. Dupain-Cheng..." He paused his voice freezing up, "Marinette has something to tell you!" He grabbed my shoulders and moved me in front of him.
I laughed, what a coward. "Mom, dad as you know this is Adrien, but he also happens to be the father of your grand babies." I spoke my parents face going into shock.
"He is?!" My dad asked as my mom looked at and started rubbing his shoulders.
"I guess so dear," my mom replied to my dad still rubbing his shoulders. It was so weird how my mom was super supportive, while my dad was hesitant. My parents asked to speak to us and we agreed, making my parents close the bakery for a bit. Adrien and I explained everything to them (Except major details like the superhero stuff). Once the discussion was finished; I grabbed ultrasound pictures and showed Adrien. When he was handed the pictures he started to tear up. He hugged me tight and whispered, "they're beautiful, Princess." I smiled Adrien was super happy and I'm glad he was here.
"Are you gonna get married?" My father asked making everything awkward.
Adrien and I looked at each other we could both seem to read each other's thoughts because we both spoke in union, "No not yet." I quickly added, "we might wait till after the twins are born." Adrien nodded agreeing with my logic.
"Are you guys going to get a home together?" My dad asked concern crossing his face.
"We haven't thought of that yet, we've been so occupied with the news, that it just hasn't occurred to us." I replied looking at Adrien for help.
"We should start looking though, that way we can raise the twins in our own home. Plus I highly doubt Marinette apartment won't fight 4 people." Adrien added helping me out.
"Hey mom, dad? We're gonna go get ready for a walk, I'll see you'll later." I waved Adrien started helping me up, so we could go back to my room; and I could get ready for a walk.
