5 Wild Clam Encounter
The two departed, wandered off from the nest, off to go on their first hunt together. Xu Reya was incredibly excited about her first hunt, as this time she has the luck of her older brother Xu Shao accompanying her.
They both looked around, scavenging for food, in the process hunting some wild critters or much smaller prey, in order to gather up experience points, and level up.
In the midst of the hunt, they would often snack on any wild plants, seaweed, or kelp they would see within the facility, to fill up their bellies. Maintaining a healthy growing body, that needs a large number of nutrients and sustenance for proper growth as they are now.
The first aquatic animal they encounter on their hunt was the very same species of Sea Cricketeer. They've encountered one of it before previously when Xu Reya was ambushed.
Xu Shao being the strong and protective brother as he is would then act as the main tank and heavy damage dealer within the group. While Reya is left out till the very end to deal the final blow, killing it, and naturally gaining the experience points from the kill.
So Xu Shao immediately charges forward, towards the twig stick figure of the Sea Cricketeer, as fast as his little nimble web feet could handle. Slamming his large tortoise body against the fragile stick figure of the Sea Cricketeer, causing it to tumble and fall over onto its back. While Shao is effortlessly keeping it down by laying on top of it with its large body.
To assure that the weigh down Sea Cricketeer, could not put up any sought of resistance, or cause any harm to Xu Reya while she is dealing the final blow.
Xu Shao then bits off its skinny legs and long piercing claw without hesitation, severing it completely from its main body, as it cries miserably because of the sharp pain. Fear at the sight of what is gonna happens next to it.
It's undoubtful death.
Xu Shao said so in a cold unnerving tone, "Your turn.", while still keeping his eyes focused on the Sea Cricketeer's disabled body. Keeping watch to see if it makes any strange and unexpected movements.
Having heard the signal given out by Xu Shao. Reya then walks up, close by Shao from behind, and chomps on the neck of the Sea Cricketeer repeatedly. Because of her lower level and strength stats, it naturally took several attempts for measly little Xu Reya to kill it.
Bit by bit, her mouth continues to gnash at the Sea Cricketeer's neck, drawing an inch closer towards its death, achieving her desired goal. While on the other hand, Xu Shao or any other of her sibling could easily finish it, in one swift move. Severing the neck and spinal cord of the Sea Cricketeer in half in one go.
Xu Shao commented on how easy it was, "It's easy, isn't it.", for him to subdue the lone Sea Cricketeer by himself.
Whilst from the side, Xu Reya is looking up rather tiredly, exhausted all of her strength, from the frequently repeated bite attacks. She is now panting quite heavily.
Looking down at her self. Sadly, she could see the obvious inferiority between herself and the other siblings of hers. Small, cowardly, and afraid. While all the others are strong, overbearing, courageous enough to take risks, in order to grow stronger and survive.
Xu Shao and Xu Reya continued their hunt, repeating the same sort of strategy for grinding experience points, by hunting much smaller critters and those that put up little defenses.
Experience points have reached a designated standpoint. The individual, Shao Lv4 has become Lv5.

In the midst of their little hunt, Xu Shao and Xu Reya encountered a wild Rock Clam, that was accidentally washed onto the sandy beach of the seashore, carried away by the strong ocean wave.
Xu Shao found this particular specimen to be quite peculiar, and quite interesting. As it appears to possess a strong exterior outer shell, several times stronger than the usual plentiful empty seashells that he finds lying around on the sandy beach.
The creature is kind of strange, as Xu thought to himself, observing the creature. It would quite often open its shell from time to time, popping its disgusting long slimy body like tongue out.
Xu Shao then drew over towards it. Curiously, observing its every move quietly at first, then followed by a desperate attempt to crush it with his mouth, with biting.
The Rock Clam's strong exterior seashell managed to withstand Xu Shao's repeated biting attempts, attempting to shatter its shell. However, the Rock Clam's seashell didn't give in, neither was there any cracks within it.

Xu Shao didn't give up on his relentless struggle, as continues his unruly assault on the wild Rock Clam. As time passes, his proficiency within the skill bite increases, until it reached a stagnated point and leveled up.
Due to his relentless struggle, after several tiring attempts, he starts to make some progress, acquiring a new strength boosting skill.
He acquired this skill by strenuously training the bare muscles within his jaw, repeatedly with each bite of his.
Skill proficiency has reached a designated point. Skill 「Strength Up Lv1」acquired.
With newfound strength growing within him, pulsating within his veins, he found out that he has grown stronger. With one last bite. It possesses strength, strong enough to pierce through the Rock Clam's exterior seashell, as we can see several cracks forming on the surface of its seashell.
Continuing his assault without backing down, the shell finally caved in and falls apart. Some shards of its outer seashell managed to unluckily pierce the internal fleshy real body of the Rock Clam, therefore fatally wounded it. Soon it was easily crushed to pebble by Xu Shao's fierce strength without remorse.
Experience points have reached a designated degree. The individual, Shao Lv5 has become Lv6.

Finally taking a moment of breather, and some rest, releasing the strenuous musscle tension building up in his jaw. It is now quite painful and sore from all of that biting. But at least he got something out from it all.
