7 Pointless Struggle
Xu Shao warmly embraced the now crying Xu Reya, held tightly within his arms, with his webbed feet wrapped around her petite figure.
He could feel the vibration of emotions, passing through his body, just like electric pulses. Xu Shao could sense the growing feeling of affection from his little sister; sadness, joy, relief, and fear. All feeling of emotion in which he vaguely understands, but does not fully comprehend it.
Feeling a bit tired, drained, and exhausted. His body and muscles are aching, after having gone through that painful experience.
Xu Shao raised his head a bit, looking up towards the bright blue sky, feeling warmth dry sensation on his skin. He saw the fiery red-orange sun, high in the sky, reaching near past its peak. Indicating that it was around noon.
He spoke in a low quiet voice, "Let us head back home, Reya. Don't you think so... I'm a bit tired you see.", whilst comforting her, which stops her crying for a bit.
Xu Reya opens her eyes, still drenched in her tears, looking upwards hesitatingly from right underneath his arms. She excitedly nods her head in approval, full of energy, and revitalized. It would seem that she got all of that pent of frustration and negative feelings out of her system.
Slowly, they began to make their way, journey right back to the nest, at their own leisure paste.

Meanwhile, as the story going on with Xu Reya and Xu Shao, will be put on hold. Xu Kaan and his party posse of underlings went out to go hunt.
Splitting up into individual groups of 4, each assigned with a respective leader, for much easier convenience. Rather than hunting in a large group, meaning that they would have more spoils to themselves, and less to share with others.
Hunting in a large group can be disadvantageous, as the experience would be distributed unequally. Only the individual that landed the final blow on the entity, will gain the experience after the kill, while the others don't.
Xu Kaan his group, were steadily hunting prey, one after the other, consecutively. Without as much time of rest, disregarding the safety of the exhausted, and leaving behind a large weakness in their formation.
They've survived up until now, by heavily relying on the difference of numbers, to outmatch their opponent. Ganging up on them.
However, this time, Xu Kaan and his group encountered a major setback. Having encountered, confronted with a foe exceedingly too powerful, beyond their match, to be messed with.
Even with their large numbers, they've met that match. Only to dwindle in numbers; dying off, and becoming food and experience for the monster.
The Aqua Iaculat Nephropidae (Water Shooting Lobster), generally have long azurite shelled bodies, with a strong muscular back tail. Three of their five pairs of legs have claws, including the first pair, which are usually way much larger than the rest.
The giant Aqua Iaculat Nephropidae raises its disproportionate large right hammer stone claw upwards, pointing it towards the direction of the triplets. Unlike most crabs or lobsters, this claw does not have the typical pincer at the end. Rather, it has a pistol-like hammer gun feature which is made up of two points.
A back joint that allows the semi-hammer part to move backward in steadfast motion in a right angle position. When it is released, it snaps into the other parts of the claw, emitting an enormously powerful wave, added with the urine released nozzles in between its claws.
It becomes an overly powerful dispensible wave of bubble pee bullet, capable of stunning larger prey, and ultimately breaking through tough shells.
The fired pee bullet flew, cutting fastly through the air, within seconds. The high pressured liquid pee bullet fired, landed straight in the face of one of the brothers. Though it was not strong enough to pierce stone or cut through an iron sheet.
It was still strong enough to incapacitate someone, singlehandedly. A fatal concussion from a consecutive shot may be possible.
Xu Ron was, unfortunately, the unlucky one to be targeted, the high pressured pee bullet hit him. Immediately, sending him into a near dazed state, which momentarily leaves him wide open for a secondary attack.
The Aqua Iaculat Nephropidae then immediately charges in, having found an unlucky target to be its victim. Xu Ron who was lying around, completely helpless, in a slightly dazed state.
Its massive physique, several times bigger than the three Xu brothers. Even outweighing the almighty Xu Kaan in size and length as well. Xu Kaan tries his best to intervene, charging straight forwards in a confrontation with the Aqua Iaculat Nephropidae, in a desperate attempt to diverged its attention away for the now immobilize lil' brother of his. Xu Ron
But all of his efforts prove to be futile, but with just a single swing of its giant frontal claw, Xu Kaan was sent helplessly flying. Swept to the side, within seconds, sending a flurry of sand flying, using its large massive stone claw as a weapon to whack Xu Kaan aside.
The Aqua Iaculat Nephropidae then continues the pursuit, following on with its assault. With the target in sight, right in front of him. It readily charges straight forwards, heading towards the direction of the helpless three lil' brothers.
With its massive stone claw raise once again, using its sheer size and strength difference as an advantage, it then brings forth its large claw down like a hammer, hitting the dazed lil' Xu Ron. Sweeping Xu Kai and Xu Dein aside, like it, did with Xu Kaan.
The Aqua Iaculat Nephropidae then continues its repetitive assault, but only targeting the lone baby tortoise, lil' Xu Ron with its attacks. Its massive claw, hammering down on him like it was a nail in the wall.
Xu Ron helplessly let out a miserable cry of help, as he is in great pain from being crush and hammered down by the Aqua Iaculat Nephropidae.
This must be the karma they incurred for bullying their little sis Xu Reya into the corners. Until the point of breaking down and crying indefinitely with tears in their eyes.
The rest of the brothers; Xu Dein, Xu Kai, now paralyzed with fear, watches it all unfold right before their very eyes, hopeless, fearful, and afraid, unable to do anything. But Xu Kaan still charges forwards in a desperate attempt to save his brother, like a rushing mad bull, repeatedly charging and ramming his head against the side of the Aqua Iaculat Nephropidae.
Little to no effect, Xu Kaan continued his ramming attack till no ends, damaging his body in the process to save his dear brother's life.
Similar to Xu Shao, Xu Kaan shares the same traits and feelings of kinship and affection towards their kind, only with those that he deems to be close. Though their personality and goals are the complete opposite.
One strives to be the strongest of them all, and quite prideful. While the other seeks enough strength to survive and is quite patient.
One of the brothers Xu Kai then runs away in fright like the coward he is.
Xu Kaan continues his fruitless barrage of ramming attacks on the Aqua Pistol Lobster. Charging in with his massive body, half the size of the Aqua Iaculat Nephropidae, using his own bare body to tackle against his target.
Skill proficiency has reached a designated point. Skill 「Weak Pain Tolerance Lv1」acquired.
On the surface, the Aqua Iaculat Nephropidae may seem a bit unscathed, by this fruitless struggle. However, the constant ramming attacks caused by Xu Kaan indeed did some major internal damage to the Aqua Iaculat Nephropidae, by repeatedly shaking, banging its internal organs against its endoskeleton. Slowly, accumulating damage over time, little by little, when compared to the heavyweight strikes it hammers down on Xu Ron.
Skill proficiency has reached a designated point. Skill 「Charge Lv3」 has become 「Charge Lv4」.
Xu Kaan watches gravely as his little brother Ron is battered into the ground by the large Aqua Iaculat Nephropidae. As shards of Xu Ron's tortoiseshell begins to cave in, cracks are beginning to form, some piercing the inside organs of Xu Ron itself. While he desperately screams in agony and great pain.
