I woke up quickly in a cold sweat. "Thank God, it was just a nightmare." But then I turned to my clock, 3:03 a.m. July21st. Tears started welling up in my eyes as I realized what today was. I couldnt hold them back anymore. The tears came too fast and I couldn't hold back my emotions, I started sobbing. It was my birthday today. (I know, I'm supposed to be happy right?) But it also marked the 10 year anniversary of my parents death.

I was turning 21 today and I would be spending it in my room, contemplating how much of a mistake I was.
