16 Salazar Slytherin

It had been years since he and his friends Godric, Helga, and Rowena had established the first wizarding school in the known world.

And even though it had been a very strenuous task, it truly had been rewarding as he watched tens of new faces every year join Hogwarts

But one thing that instantly became an issue was the clash of views between Salazar and his Co-Founders regarding the topic of Muggleborns joining their school.

He knew well enough that having the children join Hogwarts was a potential security breach, as the child's parents might be active supporters of the witch hunts that were raging across Avalon.

Sadly his friends were being foolishly naive regarding the issue as they were blinded by the success of Hogwarts and viewed almost everything with naive optimism.

So all he could do to avoid discord among themselves was to grit his teeth and hope for the best because even though they were being foolish they were still his very best friends.

But that didn't mean he couldn't prepare for the worst-case scenario in case his fears were proven to be correct!

He had already made a few measures as he had carved out a secret chamber underneath the school where he was now raising a basilisk to defend the school in the future when he or his friends wouldn't be alive to defend Hogwarts against potential assailants.

But he never stopped preparing, and one of the most essential preparations he was working towards was amassing a truly enormous repertoire of potions in stasis that the future generations of Hogwarts staff could use in case of emergency.

And to achieve this goal of his, he had to amass a truly enormous pool of ingredients that were truly hard to come by in England.

So he had taken to traveling the world in search of rare and wonderous ingredients and stocking up on some of the more regional-based ingredients. and it was on one of these travels where he had heard the legend of a lost continent where wonderous magical plants and beasts roamed.

After a lot of coin and threats, he had finally found a lead to the continent, and after hours on his trusty broomstick, he saw what could only be described as magical paradise.

As far as his eyes could see were large trees with colorful fruits and leaves of clear magical origin, he could clearly make out hundreds of oversized strange animals roaming between the trees!

"Beauty is often accompanied with poison" he muttered as he started to fly around the forest scouting the area out for any potential threats before he would descend.

Salazar was a patient man so he stayed in the air roaming for hours when he made out something that stuck out like a sore thumb in the greenery of the surroundings.

Just a hundred meters in front of him were a large clearing with a large lake, but the thing that truly made Salazar Slytherin slow. down and cast every single stealth spell he could from scent blockers, sound mufflers, and the trusty disillusionment charm was the large ebony castle that rose from the lake´s center.

As he carefully gazed down upon the castle he could easily make out the rough bedrock that the castle was made out of, and the castle's rough quality made him gloat a little over the differences in craftmanship between this castle's quality and Hogwarts.

"I wonder who the poor sod that lives in the unrefined castle is" he muttered in slight disdain, but even though the occupant's craftsmanship skills were beyond subpar, he would not count on his magical might being of the same poor level of mastery.

"Let's gather all the facts before confronting whoever the castle´s master is and see if there are any benefits to reap" Salazar smirked as he got comfortable on his broom, ready to stake out the castle until the owner revealed himself.

Lucifer smiled softly as he and Shiro walked back home after a rather long day of testing out his form while Shiro hunted, it truly had been a gamechanger to unlock what he now named his Demon Form.

It gave him almost what seemed to be an elemental form of Demonic power, where he was unrestrained by mortal limits and had what seemed to be unparalleled speed and strength, it gave him extreme ease to manipulate the demonic power his body was made out of that after extensive testing gave him access to flight and to manipulate his limbs into constructs to attack with.

But his Demon form came with its own downsides, one was that even after exposing Shiro to his True form for hours it still utterly terrified his beloved familiar. So Lucifer concluded that the demonic power must have some form of terror-inducing effect on unprotected minds, but if it could be fended off by occlumency was unknown.

Magic seemed to also be inaccessible in his demon form, as even after countless attempts his wand simply would not appear when he summoned it in that form. and the last downside he discovered came after failing to summon his wand.

His mind become almost...unhinged.

He had absolutely no inhibitions that he experienced in his devil form, as he had apparently deemed magic below him after failing to summon it and gone on a killing spree of the nearby wildlife to soothe his pride.

His pride seemed to have swelled to truly insane amounts in that form as he looked down upon absolutely everything around him, and there was even a moment where Shiro´s quivering felt amusing as he stared down at his familiar.

He had exited his form after that and shuddered at the sadistic amusement he had taken from Shiro´s fear...

But probably the biggest boon he had gotten from his breakthrough aside from unlocking his demon form, must be the intimacy he now felt with his demonic power.

Where previously it felt like the demonic power was a separate entity aside from him, it now felt like the Demonic Power was a part of him, his essence in a way.

And that intimacy pleased him to no end as he played with his demonic power by coating his fingers in the chaotic black power, watching how his fingers were reinforced and feeling the pleasurable burn of power on his fingers made the soft smile on his face twitch in happiness at the newfound control he now enjoyed.

"I can't wait to get off this wild zone and actually enjoy the joys of civilization!" Lucifer´s smile turned tight as he remembered the final change that had occurred after achieving his demon form.

"The horns are badass, but they will most definitely prove to be an issue blending in" He sighed as he ran his fingers down the draconic horns sprouting out of his head in an ebony arc.

He truly would never have been able to blend in anywhere with his 7-foot frame, aesthetic beauty, ivory locks, and ruby red eyes. But with the addition of his horns?

Let's just say that any muggle would run screaming about tempting demons, and any wizard or with would be left puzzled at what kind of creature inheritance Lucifer must possess to have such strange features.

"But it doesn't matter, why would I care what sheep think anyways?" Lucifer's pride reared its head as it crushed his concerns about social acceptance and replaces it with social superiority instead.

Shiro walked slowly next to its master as he watched Lucifer get lost in thought, its chest rumbled as it affectionately nudged lucifer to break him out of thought as they reached the clearing.
