2 The Creation Of Skylar

Skyla was a wolf shifter, one of the most beautiful in Nebraska. When she had turned 18, and found out that her mate was not her pack, she had decided to travel the state in search for him. Many wolves do travel in order to find their other half.

However, in this process she'd had been on the move for over half a year. And when a fertile wolf comes of age to meet their mate, it typically only takes a few months before their body begins to prepare for pups and a family with their partner, thus bringing on their first heat. However they can also go through heat if the become sexually active early or their mate is constantly around the their mate is old enough to recognize them.

Needless to say that as she was going through Nebraska, she had gone into heat. When she realized what exactly was going on, she found a place to hide for a while, not wanting unmated wolves to attempt to mate her. However, the place she thought to hide happened to be a lion's den. Literally.

This Lion, who she would find out the be known as Daniel, was a lone lion because his father had kicked him out about a year ago. He hadnt found any female lions to join his pride and therefor was lonely, frustrated and tense. When he smelled a female in heat, he didn't hesitate to take the opportunity to release. Despite Skyla's pleas and cries, the lion was too far gone and easily overpowered the wolf, raping her.

The lion kept her in his den for a while after, only to realize that she had miraculously became pregnant. About three months later Skyla was giving birth. Seeing as how she felt it safer to stay in her wolf form the whole pregnancy, it only took about 70 days. During this pregnancy time however, the lion shifter had bought a small piece of land with a small cabin on it, simply because he didnt want his baby to cry in a cave with the echoing.

During her pregnancy, Skylar had died, due to the size of the lion-wolf hybrid. Her body couldnt handle it and she bled out, begging Daniel to take care of the baby boy who was born. The last word she'd muttered was 'Skylar.'

Daniel decided to name the boy this, after his mother. It was the least he could do. The young hybrid grew quickly because he was born in lion form, but his growth stunted at a year and a half old, his mane hardly there but there none the less.

Skylar was born albino, due to the wolf and lion genes mixing. His eyes were bright blue in every form he had and his hair and fur pure white. Daniel was a decent father until Skylar had gotten old enough to shift to his human form, at that point it struck Daniel that Skylar could also shift into a wolf. After Skyla he had begin to hate wolves, wolves and lions never really got along but now Daniel was dead set against Skylar even thinking he was a wolf. He was forced to push his wolf to the back of his mind, and the first time that he'd matured enough that his wolf forced him to shift, he was beaten mercilessly.

Daniel had grown abusive towards Skylar and treated him like a woman, he was to do chores, cook, clean and always be there when Daniel wanted him, no matter what it was for. Daniel never said anything about Skylar's wolf heritage unless he was guilting Skylar with his mother's death.
