Escape

The princess was still processing what had happened when Henry had took them out of the castle and in the woods. Henry wasn't from the castle originally he was raised in a village far hidden from outsiders. The only way to find this village was to have lived there and know someone who lived there. The princess finally spoke after being in shock and not speaking for 3 hours. She said "why?". Henry was wondering what she meant. Then she said "why would my father go and kill my mother like that." Henry told her he didn't know why. Tears still fell down the princess face, she would never be the same for a long time. The princess was full of life and light she wouldn't hurt anyone. She would always help injured animals, when she saw anything or anyone hurt she would help. A lot of people said she had the power of healing. If she did it would be a gift because the healers live far away in a faraway land, so it's mostly impossible for her to be a healer unless one of her parents were. Henry stopped and set up camp, it was late and they needed rest. He made a fire, and set up a shelter for them to share. He only had one a tarp to make a shelter with,so he improvised and made a pillow wall. He sat by the fire and orchid was on the other side, orchid had a stick with a marshmallow at the end. After they ate food they went in the tent to sleep. The tent was just 2 sticks and a tarp over top so they were only sheltered from the sky but wind they weren't sheltered from. During that night orchid got cold but she was to much of a coward to say anything to Henry. Henry knew she was cold so he gave her his blanket. It was hard for them to both sleep, orchid had just saw her mother die at the hands of her father. And henry saw the same thing but he couldn't sleep because he was to worried about orchid. Orchid could sense he was cold, she could hear the coldness in his breath. So she quietly went over with her blankets and covered him up and lay beside him. He wasn't cold anymore and neither was she because they had each other for warmth. Shortly after she laid beside him she had fell asleep and laid her head on his chest and hugged him. He fell asleep to.
