1 A Land devided part one

Riley woke up to the sound of the sunbirds gleefully singing outside his window, he got up slowly and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. Riley stood at about 6-foot fall had tanned skin, brown eyes and blond hair. He was half sun elf which he got from his fathers half sun human which Riley got from his mother, Riley barely knew here, his mother passed away when he was only 2, Riley quickly sorted out his hair to get his bed head out.

As Riley walked out of his room, his dad shouted though the window "hurry up boy we have weapons to craft "Riley's dad said with his gruff raspy voice "coming father" Riley replied in his relatively high voice. He walked toward the door and opened and walked out into the sun early afternoon as Riley walked round to the side of the house Riley saw his dad working on the forge forging weapons. Riley's dad was a 6-foot sun elf that was of average build, "hey dad you called for me" Riley said as he approached his dad "ah yes Riley my son please can you go to the market and get more coal for me" he said giving Riley a coin purse filled with coins "but dad every time you send me to the market to get coal there never is any coal there, and then you end up sending me to Vardan" Riley said complaining "oh shut up boi and go to the market and get me the coal" Rileys dad said firmly with his gruff voice "yes dad" Riley said with a sigh. Riley left and walked down the street towards the market, many people that were out doing there daily routine greeted him on the way As he near the market.

The market owner Marcus saw him and knew what he'd come. He then shook his head "nope sorry I don't have any coal today Riley" Marcus said "yeah like always" Riley replied "I don't understand why my dad send me here when there never is any coal" Riley continued "it is probably to make sure there isn't any here. There hasn't been any coal here in weeks ever since the bandits captured the town three years ago they regulate the flow of resources in the village you will have to go to the next town over if you want coal" Marcus said. Varden is a days journey I better prepare then Riley replied to Marcus, Riley then walked back to his house in informed his dad he then readied himself to set off on his trip to varden. Some time had passed and night had occurred, and Riley had just made it, Vardan he began to walk toward the inn to rest for the evening as Riley walked down the dimly lit street it felt a bit eerie even though he had been here before something felt a bit off, but he shrugged it off.

Riley neared the oak door of the inn. As Riley approached, he could hear all the drunkards who were being as loud as ever he arrived at the door and pulled it open and stepped in everyone turned there heads towards the door in which Riley had entered to see who had come in and then went back to talking with each other. Riley walked up to the bar and asked the barkeep for a room Riley paid for the room and went to the place that he'd purchased and went to sleep.
