God, I hate running. Well, it's better than that shit hole I was 'living' in. I would scoff but i'm too tired.

I wish I were a monkey. Monkey's are beautiful.

*11 Years ago/Flashback*

A black haired girl walked along the sidewalk holding her mother's hand. She let go following the pink balloon that had escapes her small hand. As she ran the balloon floated. It rose and rose, she chased and ran but it was no use. She was too late. She wasn't fast enough.

Pouting sadly, she felt a cold hand on her warm skin. Turning around, her mother's face appeared with a strange man with a man behind her.

"Why did you run away sweetheart?"

She pointed up the sky. "My balloon. It flew away.

The young mother laughed, "You aren't fast enough yet. Once you grow older, it will be better."

The girl smiled and agreed with her mother by nodding her head.

"Mrs. Rosalind? May I speak with you for a moment?" It was a question but it sounded more like a command.

"Pierce. What are you doing here?" The 21 year old mother turned to her frightened daughter, whom had a smile on her face to disguise her fear, "Hey sweetie, go to the park across the street and wait for me there."

"I don't want to go, Mother! What if a big scary monster shows up?" The little girl trembled at the thought, though... she, herself, is a monster.

"You are old enough! Quit complaining!"

Tears brimmed her heterochromatic eyes as she walked by. Making her way to the park, took longer than expected due to the horrible traffic on that Saturday morning.

She walked by an alley with water droplets falling from her eyes. It was something that happened frequently, she was use to her mother's behavior. However, it stung her nonetheless.

The young girl stopped her crying upon hearing small sniffles coming from the alley. She neared to the alley, and there was a little boy. In a ball crying. Nearing closer, his sniffles came to an eruptive stop upon hearing the girl's arrival. He lifted his head up, just slightly.

He tried to order her to stay away, but despite the boy's request she neared closer till she was standing in front of him. She grabbed her handkerchief and handed it to the boy knowing he needed it more. It was her favorite one. A white handkerchief with a dinosaur on the bottom right corner along with a golden heart.

"Is that a dinosaur?" He asked in disbelief. He had never seen a dinosaur handkerchief. Nonetheless, someone with such an obsessive personality towards dinosaurs themselves.

She had two pigtails with white bows that both had a tiny dinosaur on the side. A pink dress with a huge dinosaur on the side of it, underneath her dress she was wearing a white shortsleeved shirt. On the very top, right where her chest was located, was a small pocket where she had gotten her handkerchief from. His red eyes moved down to her feet. White long socks all the way up to her ankles, the socks had pink dinosaurs on the side. Along with her socks, she wore white shiny shoes.

His eyes moved back up. To her face. She wore an eyepatch over her eye. The eye visible was blue. She was wearing a golden bracelet the kind where you put charms in. Each charm holder had a different but unique type of dinosaur charm.

"YES! I love dinosaurs! They are so huge and strong!" She smiled revealing her small gap between her two front teeth answering the boy's question excitedly.

He looked back at her handkerchief. He took it in his hands being careful not to destroy it. He held it like it would fall apart any moment if he so much as held it too tight.

"What's your name?" He jumped flinching slightly at her question now noticing how close she was. Her face just mere inches from his. He blushed before answering, "Shimura Tenko."
