9 Chapter Nine

It was getting late and I decided that the 110 Gang Members would rest for the night at the Wolf Gang's hideout and we would continue our plight in the morning.

I summoned the now 6 Shadow Knights to guard me and the gang against harm while we sleep.

I had two of the 6 Shadow Knights stay by my side to ensure my safety while I slept while the four remaining shadow knights would patrol around the hideout and alert me if anything happens.

I checked the date and found that it was May 4th, 41 BBY, 19 years before the events of clone wars would begin.

I was born on May 4th, 47 BBY which means today is my birthday.

But I felt no need to celebrate my birthday.

I sat down on the simple bed and summoned a Shadow Puppet.

It was quite weak...

I experimented for a few minutes and found a few uses for these puppets.

First I can see and hear through the Puppets.

I am mentally connected to them so I can hear their thoughts no matter how far away they are from me.

Thirdly, these Puppets have the ability to hide in the shadows!

Wherever there is darkness they can hide.

They can hide in a person's shadow, and they are perfect for fighting at a distance, assassinations, spying, and multiple other things like guarding and surveying.

Sadly they have an hour cooldown as well, so once I summoned the seventh Shadow Knight and the second Shadow Puppet I went to sleep for the night.

Although we are under the surface the people under the surface still keep track of the time.

Once morning arrived I summoned the eighth Shadow Knight and the third Shadow Puppet and put back on my mask and ring.

Within an hour I rounded up the 110 Gang Members and we started heading to the next gang on the list, Frost Gang.

Frost gang has 35 members and within an hour they come under my command.

Now my gang has increased to 145 members and I now have Ten Shadow Knights and five shadow puppets.

I had the five Shadow Puppets change from their normal swords to a Bow and Arrow and had them equip themselves with light leather armor.

I found that it was great that they can give themselves armor and change their equipment at will.

With the Gang Members, we soon forced Frost Gang into joining us.

Before we went to the next gang we all had lunch using the combined credits of all the gang members.

All of the Gang Leaders sat near me while the normal Gang Members kept their distance.

We had more than enough credits for 3 meals a day every day for a year.

Beyond that point, we would start running out of funds...

So I need to quickly dominate 6 more gangs.

I had Turtle Gang, Viper Gang, Wolf Gang, and Frost Gang under my command, and with the 145 Gang Members the next gang, Bull Gang, submitted to me without a fight.

With Bull Gang's 48 members we went from 145 men to 193.

With my large force coercing other gangs became even easier.

Before I knew it I coerced five more gangs under my command.

Now my gang has 360 Members!

Now that I have completed one of the requirements I checked the task once more.

I looked at the 360 men that stood before me and said "From now on we shall be known as The Black Dragon!"

Once I dismissed the Members of the Gang I received a notice from the System.

"What's my total SP count now?"

[1,028]

[A/N: The host did the Daily Task already]

I then opened my inventory to find a coupon and a...bucket?

[Infinite Bucket of Crystal Water Essence - A bucket that refills every hour, inside the bucket is Crystal Water Essence, beneficial to growing plants and consumption]

It gave me a bucket of water as a reward?!

I was expecting something like an army of droids or a powerful weapon and armor!

But it gave me a bucket of water?!

Sigh...I pulled the Random Skill Coupon out from my inventory and a new screen appeared in front of me.

[Do you wish to use the Random Skill Coupon?]

[Y/N]

I clicked yes and a new screen appeared.

[Congratulations on earning the skill, Healing Hands!]

[Healing Hands(S) - A white light will shine from the user's hands and upon touching an injury it will begin to heal at a visible speed, internal injuries will also be healed but will take more effort, using this skill will cause the host to feel mental fatigue]

A Healing skill?

'Does it work on me?' I asked the system.

[It does]

I see, that would be quite useful.

I soon gathered the injured Gang members to a large room and started healing them one by one.

At first they looked at me in fear but once my hands began to glow in a golden light and saw that the injuries my hands touched would heal they started showing me respect.

[You have healed someone of their injuries, you have earned 1 SP]

Before long I healed a total of 48 Gang Members of any injuries they had hidden and not hidden.
