1 The Beginning

You know, I never knew that death could be happening in the most absurd way. As for me, I died after I got hit by a truck. Sound cliche, right? It sounds like some Isekai story. Well, let me tell you something. I was on top of a mountain that day.

That day my friend and I decided to set up camp on top of a mountain after a long walk. We are a bushcrafter. We like to camp in the nearby mountain and make ourselves a shelter from the nearby resource. We do this activity at least once every two months.

One day when we had just finished making our shelter, I decided to go to take a leak in the forest, but suddenly a bright light appeared above me. As I looked up, I saw…

Anyway! Just like those Isekai stories, I get reincarnated into another world, or I guess you could say that I get transferred to another body in the other world. For some reason, I got reincarnated into the body of a Japanese teenager. In my previous life, my name was Oliver Parker, but after I arrived in this world, my name is Homura Ryobe. Homura is my family name, and Ryobe is my given name if you get confused.

Ryobe is a NEET that even his parents already give up on him. His parents let him live alone in the house his parents bought using their money. He also gets money every month from his parents. Ryobe comes from a rather wealthy family, but he didn't get enough attention because of this. Hence, Ryobe decided to become a NEET when his parents still did not give him enough attention even after trying his hardest.

I look at my body and see that this body has a problem with obesity. I think my height is around 168 to 170 cm tall, rather tall for ordinary Japanese people, especially for someone eighteen years old. As for my weight, I guessed around a hundred and twenty to a hundred and sixty Kilograms.

It was average for my face, but because of the fat around my face, the quality is dropped by a significant amount.

As for the world I'm now in; there is nothing out of the ordinary. This is the same world as my previous world. There are a few differences between this world and my previous world, especially in the entertainment world. For example, there is no famous anime from my previous world, like Naruto, Bleach, or One Piece.

Anime in this world is more focused on the School life genre rather than a fantasy setting. I can't say for the Hollywood movie because the previous owner of this body only watches anime or H*ntai as his entertainment.

The same for Manga in this world.

I also didn't know if this world has a supernatural world behind all the mundane worlds that I don't know, but to be honest, I don't really care. I only want to live a peaceful life. I have money from my parents every month. I have a monthly allowance of 120.000 JPY or around 1.100 USD.

While I want to have more powerful items or skills from this gacha, I'm not upset. All the items the gacha gives me are useful for a beginner.
