The hatching

as the boy Westeros would one day know as the conqueror stared down at the egg that had been placed in his cradle. A egg as black as coal with tints of green all he wished for was a sign a sign that it would hatch a sign to tell him not to give up not to claim a different dragon but to his disavail no sign came. 

The egg the last unhatched egg to have come from the valyrian freehold of the eight brought was forgotten and left in a corner of the dragon mount never to be seen again. That was what was thought what the warrior queen visenya wrote and what led to the beast known to many as the cannibal.

But in reality as the egg assumed fossilised by time and not possible to hatch was just thrown into the dragon mount it rolled down a steep cavern till falling into a vent of magma and there it would stay till the third year of Aegons rule. The egg shook then cracked and a hatchling pitch black and green eyed beast announced itself to the world with a shriek wich would give a grown man nightmares. 

At first the beast could not fly so it survived by catching insects there were few who could withstand the heat of the magma but still a few. These few were enough to eat for a young dragon at least but eventually insects couldn't satisfy the green eyed beast anymore. 

So it flew out of the ravine in which it was born and into a passageway through the volcano which the dragons called home.

When it got out of the ravine the first creature it came in contact with was another beast belonging to the same kind that itself belonged to despite this the beast was starved feral and desperate as it launched itself at the young blue dragon
