1 Chapter 1: The Espada's Confusing Feelings

Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez was an espada.The sixth Espada and as such he was powerful, a fact that he loved to demonstrate to his ennemy.He was short-tempered and extremely violent, but many people didn't knew something about him, something that he knew only when it was too wait.

He could love.It was something that Aizen knew but never told to anyone.Aizen never truly considered this as important, and Grimmjow would've certainly denied it, but.....At one point he was forced to see it for himself.

It came in form of Orihime Inoue.The woman had been captured and brought to Las Noches, it was the first time Grimmjow saw her.

When she entered the room, he was immediately shocked.Something in him reacted, something powerful and yet restricted.He had no idea what it was but he just ignored it.

Grimmjow wasn't used to those.....Humans emotions, thus he acted like nothing happened.However things didn't go as planned for the Espada.

His arm had been cut off by Kaname Tousen and Orihime healed him.It was just a single moment, that lasted just a few minutes.He was mesmerized, not only by her beauty, but also by how the emotions were mixed on her face, going from fear to confusion when she saw how he looked at her.

In this single instant, something appeared in him.

Love

It wasn't powerful yet, sadly it would only grow in the future.His own confusion forced him to watch her, every she did was captured by his eyes.His gaze was glued on her.For some reasons no one seemed to noticed that, but Grimmjow...

'What's happening to me?It feel so weird...GODDAMN WHAT IS HAPPENING?!'

Grimmjow never cared about emotions.He was sadistic, psychotic even....But love?NEVER!

Many thought that he didn't understood love.He,himself, thought that he never understood love.

Unfortunately love doesn't need to be understood.It need to be felt, in ones heart, in ones soul.

Ulquiorra Cifer, the fourth Espada saw the conflict in Grimmjow's eyes.He was someone who knew even less about emotions, yet he just knew that Grimmjow was conflicted because of Orihime.After all the woman also confused him by her actions.

As Orihime finished healing his arm, Grimmjow was brought out of his thought as he turned to Luppi Antenor, the Arrancar who tried to steal his rank.

"Not so confident anymore, huh bitch?!"

In a single movement, he impaled her through her chest.She just watched him with horror, as life left her body.He incinerated her at point-blank range and looked at Orihime.

"T-Thanks...."

He said that in such a little voice, that even Ulquiorra who was besides him didn't heard it.However Aizen did noticed that something was weird.

'Grimmjow, and...Orihime?Never would've thought that this seemingly non important traits of personallity would lead to something like that.But it might prove to be interesting, in any case it won't be a threat to me.'Thought the Ex-Shinigami.

No one, not even Ulquiorra, saw the glimmer in Grimmjow's eyes.And it was normal, because none knew what he was thinking.

His breath became a little bit rougher and he kept glancing at Orihime, trying to be discreet and failing as the woman looked at him.

'W-Why is h-he looking a-at me like t-that?'Thought the stressed woman.In Grimmjow mind, something snapped.

'WHY THE FUCK AM I FEELING LIKE THAT?!WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?!'

The conflict in his mind became so big, that he had to leave the room before anyone could see his flushed face.Aizen merely smirked while all the others glared at Grimmjow.They were used to his disrespect ,but this time it was a little too big.

Ulquiorra followed shortly after him, he walked to Grimmjow and watched him with confusion.

'Something is definitely wrong with him.But what?I never saw anything like that happen to any Espada...If my memories serves me well, i think this is what Gin called...Love?'Thought Ulquiorra, he was a bit surprised when Grimmjow punched the wall with his entire strengh.

"ARGHH!WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?!"

"Grimmjow you should call down, i know you're confused but you need to try to understand what is happening, instead of just breaking things.Also be more respectful towards Aizen-Sama, you tend to forget who he is to us."Said Ulquiorra, Grimmjow grabbed him and lifted him in the air.

"YOU FUCKER!!DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE TO ACT LIKE THAT WITH ME!!AS SOON AS I FIGURE WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME, I'M COMING TO PROVE THAT I'M STRONGER THAN YOU!!!"

Grimmjow let go of Ulquiorra and walked away.All of this truly stunned Ulquiorra, who wasn't used to any of this, such emotions in an Arrancar....Grimmjow was the first.He heard a few loud sounds coming from the other part of Las Noches, and he knew that Grimmjow hasn't calmed down.

"*Sigh*To think that Grimmjow would become like that, am i really the only one who doesn't understand anything?"Said Ulquiorra, before he walked away too.All of this was seen by a smiling Aizen.

'Love, huh?My, my, Grimmjow continue to surprise me.Maybe Orihime is even more useful than i thought.But seriously, love coming from an Arrancar, and an Espada no less....How can it happen?'

"ARGHHHH!!WHY!!!!WHY?!!!!"

Grimmjow continued to punch the walls until he finally calmed down.

"I don't understand....What did she do to me?As soon as i saw her, i felt like i was hypnotized.....Don't tell me this is....NO!!NEVER!!!!"

One thing was sure.Grimmjow will never be the same again, he saw Orihime and his emotions became uncontrollable.

Love was a foreign concept to the Espada.Unfortunately it will soon become the worst thing that ever happened to him.

Until he admitted his love, it will only grow.

The question is, how much will his love for Orihime grow?Will it be forgotten easily?Or will it become....Something, truly special?
