Welcome to the Wizarding World

After a heated debate that lasted twenty-five minutes, the kids looked really bored. The argument was still where it started, but it could be said that a seed of doubt had been planted that day.

Both sides decided to call it quits and the prosecutors promptly left the premises. After finding a deserted area nearby, they apparated back to the Laplaus's to discuss their future plans for the children.

It was decided that since tomorrow was a Saturday, Arthur doesn't work on the weekends, they'd bring them to Diagon Alley to see the shops and maybe buy some magical books to teach reading at the same time as other essential knowledge such as potion making or magical creatures. After that, a trip around the Ministry of Magic would also be a good learning experience.

Instead of just their usual bedtime story, Kate decided to start teaching them how to read. In the book there were a brother and sister. They grew up and did everything together, and then they found a magic treehouse that worked almost like a time turner. They met multiple famous figures in muggle history and went on some pretty wacky adventures.

Corrin, being the inquisitive little munchkin he was, asked if Evelyne was his sister, as the children in the book were brother and sister, and did a lot of things together. Kate was taken aback for a moment, then agreed that the two of them were basically siblings. From then on Corrin always called Evelyne his sister and Evelyne usually called him brother, which eventually caused a lot of emotional pain for her for a while, but thats for a later time *wink*.

When morning came, both of the kids were somehow already up and bursting with energy before Arthur and Kate's alarm went off. By breakfast they were joined by Eli and Ellie, who used the Floo Network to get there as there was no longer the need to apparate a distance away and walk. Ellie and Kate got to work on making the classic breakfast of butter with toast, bacon, and scrambled eggs. Soon, the alluring smell filled the house and all mouths were watering.

Let me tell you more about the scrambled eggs. First, they coated a small pan with butter, making sure no spot was left unbuttered, and then they mixed the eggs together in a different bowl. Pouring the egg mix in not to slow but not to fast was essential. When the eggs touch the pan, the cooking experts did not let them sit for a single moment, mixing them around constantly. A bit before the eggs were done cooking, the fire was turned off and the eggs were slightly salted. In the end they were garnished with freshly chopped green onions.

After everyone was at the table they began to devour everything in sight. The crunch of the toast, the crisp of the bacon, the melting sensation of the eggs on your tongue... it was bliss. And then it was over. No more toast, no more bacon, no more eggs. The mood immediately dampened. Although the two wives had made enough for everyone to have triple servings... it didn't even matter. Sure they all felt bloated, but they weren't gonna turn down any of it if it was offered.

The Layettes had brought a nice little dress for Evelyne to change in to, and Kate had picked out Corrin's outfit yesterday night. As the two were being dressed, the two "grown up" men were placing bets on which one of their work places would the children like more

"Aight I'll play fair, three to one odds. So if you bet one, I have to bet three. Deal?" Arthur grinned mischievously, as he thought he had this in the bag.

"Just so you don't pull a fast one on me, your bets are on the ministry, mine are on my shop, correct?" Eli had to make sure as this wouldn't be the first time Arthur had tried to con him on a bit recently.

"Yeah yeah, you in?" Arthur pressed.

"Yeah I'm in, ten sickles on my shop" Eli said, giving a mischievous smile of his own.

"Alright then, just because you're never gonna win I'll through in an extra three sickles to round my bet to a nice galleon." At this point Arthur was oozing with confidence.

When the two women and children came back downstairs, they found two smiling hyenas, eager to take the kids on a trip. The women both raised an eyebrow at this suspicious behavior and the children began to giggle at the silly look on their fathers' faces.

For the kids' first time, the parents decided to access Diagon Alley via the Leaky Cauldron. Apparating near Charing Cross Road, the party of six waddled along until they reached the Leaky Cauldron. Hurrying the children through the general riff raff, they almost made it to the back exit before they were stopped.

"Oi Arthur, is that you? Good god, I haven't seen you in ages! How's the ministry life treating ya?" a middle aged looking man asked with a slightly crazed expression and a mug of some sort of adult beverage.

"Oh it's you. Phil, it's been five years... get it together man, drinking isn't gonna get you your ex back." Arthur sighed.

"Hey! I'll have you know that I got over her already. This time it's Lasandra!" Phil looked quite offended.

"That's exactly my point Phil, move on. Now if you'll excuse us, I'm taking my child and his sister on their first Diagon Alley trip along with her parents." Perturbed. That was the word for Arthur's expression.

"I see, I see! Well, younguns, have fun and cause as much trouble for yer parents as possible!" Phil said with a toothy grin. "Wait a sec, if she's he's sister, wouldn you be 'er father... I think I'm thinking too much, I just wanna nap."

The group quickly departed after that, not wanting to get caught up in another old friend's ramblings. Arthur lifted up Corrin and Eli lifted up Evelyne, telling them which brick to tap while swishing them around. When they hit all the bricks, they began to move away, eventually opening up to an alley way brimming with people wearing long gowns and cloaks.

"Welcome, my dear children, to Diagon Alley!" Eli and Arthur announced together in a sort of circus master intro, much to the amusement of nearby witches and wizards, and much to the embarrassment of their dear wives.

By the way that's pretty much how me and my brother cook scrambled eggs, dunno if yall do it different. I know it was sort of a cliff hanger but... I don't have an excuse. Anyways throw some stones, comments, whatever at me and I'll respond if I can. Stay safe everyone and remember to hydrate and eat well!
