Visiting This and That and Everything in Between!

I'll be using -example- for italicizing stuff as I'm writing on mobile and dont know if italics are a even a thing here.

At the these strange new sights, the twins could barely suppress their excitement. Correction: they absolutely could not contain their excitement. Bouncing up, spinning around in circles... it was quite the spectacle!

Imagine this. You're an ordinary wizard or witch going about a probably mundane task and then you see two little balls of joy being joyous. Your heart trembles, your stoney facade begins to crumble.

The parents would of stopped their children from making such a scene if they too had not been captivated by the golden display of purity and innocence. Soon a crowd began to gather, just watching the two young children do happy things and make happy noises. After a while the twins got tired and sat down.

It took a few seconds for that to process and when it finally clicked that the show of light had stopped, a heaviness weighed itself upon all who were there, realizing that they may never see something so wholesome again. The common sentiment that grew from whoever came in contact with the duo once again showed its dominance.

'Damn I wish those were my kids.'

'Where can I get those types of kids.'

'These are what kids are supposed to be, I want a refund for mine. They're faulty.'

'I wonder if I could successfully pull of a heist to kidnap them and make those two my own.'

The thoughts' general theme was the same, but the specifics were quite a rabbit hole.

After their parents had collected their thoughts they quickly ushered the two through the alley, yet were stopped every five seconds when they refused to move after seeing something cool in the shop windows.

The first store they actually went into was Albert Eggsborough's Aviary. All manner if bird could be found here. Whether you wanted an owl, crow, raven, chicken, or an eagle... they had it all. Except maybe phoenixes and thunderbirds and other rare birds of the like.

Evelyne was immediately drawn to the corner, where a falcon was screeching. When she drew near, it began to calm down. Reaching out to pet it, she was quickly scooped up by Eli as the Falcon snapped at the cage where her hand would have been.

"That cranky old Falcon's been here for years. Almost lost a finger to it a while back. Just be careful around animals that aren't yours, okay?" Arthur told her.

"Mkay!" Evelyne was unaware of what could have happened. She just wanted to pet all the fluffies.

Next up was Flourish and Blott's. It was quite crowded, but Corrin and Evelyne were too busy looking for picture books to care about the noise. Much to the dismay of the munchkins, there were seemingly no picture books at their eye level, but there was a certain cover that caught Corrin's attention: a dark blue cover with a golden broomstick in the center. The title read -Quidditch Quintessentials: A Guide to Dominating the Pitch-. It was written by William Vale, an distinguished Quidditch ace. Noticing Corrin's stare, Arthur decided to buy the book for thirteen sickles and a knut.

"Tank you daddy!" Corrin hugged his father with a huge smile on his face.

"Take good care of it, I don't want to see any torn pages or folded corners." Arthur smiled

"Kay!" Corrin responded.

Seeing this, Evelyne found a random book with a lavender cover, her favorite color, and grabbed it.

"Me too! Me too!" She chanted while hopping back and forth.

"Sweetie, are you sure you really want this one? It's about some things you don't understand yet." Ellie asked, as -Deadly Dueling Tips for the Future Champion- was not a book she would usually recommend for a five year old.

"Yes, want!" An innocent smile coupled with some cute nodding won the day. Ellie promised in the back of her mind to not let her actually read the book until she was older. It sort of worked itself out anyways as Evelyne pretty much forgot about her book when she and Corrin caught sight of Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour.

All it took was one look and it was settled. It was time for an ice cream break. Corrin got raspberry and banana, with Evelyne sharing with him. Arthur wanted a pistachio and black currant all to himself but was forced by his wife to share with her. Eli didn't want anything at first but was eventually coerced into an orange flavored ice cream with hot fudge by Ellie. They all enjoyed the brief respite from the hustle of the Alley, but like all good things it ended too soon. Surprisingly, it wasn't the kids who finished eating first... it was Arthur. As to make sure he got the most amount of ice cream while "sharing", he gobbled it up like a madman.

His wife looked more disappointed at her husband than the now non-existent ice cream. Well, he'd ask Eli and Ellie to take the kids today and make it up to her tonight.

A few more stops and galleons gone they finally made it to Eli's shop, the Black Star Refinery. Inside, guests were greeted by a vast illusion of a planets surrounding a dark star, but somehow it still gave off a bright light. Taking a step forward would break the illusion and the guest would find themselves in front of a seemingly simple clerk desk and a waiting area. The real magic happened when a successful order came through.

One image of a black star on the walls would suddenly feel like a void, beckoning them closer and closer until *plop*... a neatly wrapped package would pop out the void and into the patron's arm. They would then give the rest of the of the agreed payment then be on their way.

The illusion was more of a problem than Eli thought it would be... the two kids decided to sit down and stare at the planets and star for an hour straight.

Eventually Evelyne fell asleep on the spot, her head resting on Corrin's shoulder, and Corrin soon followed her to the land of dreams.
