1 Chapter 1

It was only noon when a young girl who couldn't be older than 15 arrived in the Port of Hargeon. She had mid - length blond hair, soft brown eyes, and a really, really nice body. People couldn't help but stare.

She couldn't blame them, it's not everyday you saw someone who looked like her. Almost everyone in the Port had brown or black hair and you could see the similarities in their features. But, (feeling just a bit uncomfortable with all the stares) she continued to walk. She had heard of a magic shop not far from where she was. "First stop, magic shop. I have to get more spirits if I want to join Fairy Tail."

...

"Hmmm. People here aren't easily charmed are they?" She said. She had just walked out of the magic shop without any new spirits and maybe just a tad bit disappointed. She sighed. 'It'll be alright. I'm going to join Fairy Tail. I know I will.' She tightened her grip on her purse.

A couple minutes later when she was almost in the center of the small town, she heard lots and lots of yelling and cheers. She couldn't help but be reminded of fangirls. But... There were fangirls. In a large circle in the middle of the road, there were at least twenty of them and she couldn't help but be amazed.

She continued walking and saw a tall almost skinny wizard who sounded too full of himself to be human. She looked up at him and she began to get worried. Dis she look okay? He looked perfect. What about her clothes her hair?? She couldnt help but wonder why she felt this way. She didn't think she was in love even if all of her senses were telling her otherwise. She walked closer wanting to stand by him. "IGNEEL! IT'S ME!" She snaped out of her trance. 'Hm?' "Uh... Who're you?" A young man could be seen with pink - spiky hair and lots of luggage.

That was it. She looked as if an imaginary light bulb had been lit over her head. 'Thats it. A charm spell!' She hadn't noticed when all of the girls suddenly ran towards the man and takled him.

"Hey! Get off" He said impatiently. "Calm down ladies I'm sure he didn't mean it. The man spoke again but She wasn't going to fall for the same trick twice. She knew about the charm spell and that's all she needed. The girls came back to where the man was standing and she almost fell over.

When thing had settled down and she wasn't falling over every time she took a step, she walked over to the man who was currently sitting on the ground with his arms crossed and a blue cat next to him. She couldn't help but smile. "Hi" She said. "My name's Lucy. Thanks for your help!" She held out her hand and he took it.

After she had pulled him up she decided to buy him lunch. "So, why're you doing this again?" He asked. "Because you helped me." She turned her head slightly to the side. "That man was using a charm spell, and when you came you helped me snap out of it." She paused and then continued. "Are you familiar with magic? It's really popular and wizards use all sorts of it. There are wizard guilds which almost if not are entirely made up of wizards amazing right?" She finally paused. "But if you're a wizard you probably know that already."

She continued on about wizards for somewhere aroumd five to ten minutes. 'Wow. She knows a lot about this stuff.' He couldn't help but listen to her. Many people had tried to drill this lesson into his head but none of them had succeeded. Of course' he was still stuffing his face. "Wow. You sure do talk a lot" the blue cat said. Lucy was a little taken back but didn't think to much about it. "Shut up Happy!" The man said. "No it's okay." She said with an apologetic smile. "I gust started to geek out for a sec." The boy smiled back but this time, the cat looked taken back. "But in all of the guilds in the whole world," She began, "There's only one I want to join. Fairy Tail." She smiled a sweert smile and looked out the window.

She decided to leave so she payed for their meal and staryed walking out. "Thank you Lucy." The man and his companion said. "It's fine really you don't have to thank me. 'But I do.' The man thought.

It was around three o'clock when Lucy could be found on a park bench reading a magazine called Sorcerers Weekly. "Hahaha they destroyed another town?" She wasn't surprised but still found it amusing.

She didn't look like her gaurd was up, but when a man came out form the trees and tried to touch her, Lucy got up so fast and punched the man in the face. You would be surprised. Even Lucy didn't see it coming. She was about to apologize for punching him when she realized who it was. "Oh. It's just you." She looked angry. The man held his nose when he spoke. "Why do you sound so disappointed my dear?" 'Don't call me that I might just punch you in the face again.' She thought. She clenched he fist. "What do you want?" She asked. She had a threatening tone that made the man back up a few steps.

"Well," seeing the magazine on the bench, he said "You want to join Fairy Tail and I could make that happen." She scoffed. "Yeah right. Like somebody like you would be in Fairy Tail" He winced. "You sure know how to hurt a man. I'm going to have a party on my boat and saw you in the crowd. I realized immediately I wanted you there."

Lucy sighed. "Look." She began, "Yes, I want to get into Fairy Tail but I dont want to go on your boat or whatever okay? I have plans anyway." 'LIES! How dare you lie to him!' 'Shut up' 'Fine'. Lucy heard that voice again. It was normal. She had it ever since she was little after her mom died. "Oh really?" The man said. "Did I not mention that I'm Salamander?" 'No way' Lucy thought. She had never seen Salamander in the magazines but she knew this wasn't him.

First of all, his flames didn't have enough destructive aura. Secondly, they weren't even the same color. She could keep going but she decided to stop before she tried to find out who this guy really was. She didn't want to know.

When she had finally got rid of him she had agreed to go to his 'Party' or whatever it really was. She had promised and Lucy didn't break promises. 'What am I doing?' She asked herself. She listened to all of the mans lies in her head again silently trying to figure out who he was. 'Stop that! I don't want to know!' One sentence in particular repeated in her head. 'Be there at eight. See you then.' Someone else popped in her mind. ''That man, what was his name?
