The Confusion

"You fucking blind human, I am not any Hazel. I am Mia; Mia Jannison" she screamed kicking him in the groin.

Victor winced in pain as soon as she kicked him down there, taking that as a cue she bit his hand, which made him draw his hand back. Pulling herself away Mia ran towards her vehicle.

Mia threw his baggage out from the vehicle and started the ignition.

Victor screamed running back of her, but even before he could catch her, Mia's vehicle barged away.

As the roads are almost empty Mia drove faster than the speed limit, her body kept trembling. She was unable to catch her breath, she drove just to escape that beast who almost choked the life out of her.

"What is wrong with that man? Who the hell is Hazel? Why did he call me that?" Mia was unable to answers the questions of her own mind.

Mia kept driving without caring about anything but her safety.

Victor was unable to believe anything that took place before her eyes. He was standing shocked.

"Travis, I saw her" Victor shrieked as soon as his best friend picked his call.

"What? Where and When?" Travis's questions had no end.

"I am a bit confused here, she drove the cab I boarded and when I tried to get answers from her, she ran away kicking me" Victor was beyond confused.

"What? Hazel kicked you?" Travis questioned with disbelief.

"She screamed she isn't Hazel, but Mia Jannison"

"Come on Victor, we know that liar, this might be one of her tricks" Travis dismissed.

"If she would Hazel, she would have never let me board her cab, leave about boarding her cab. Do you think Hazel would be driving a cab? It is beyond impossible," Victor stated.

"Then whom did you even see?" Travis questioned.

"The only one who can aid us now, Hazel's replica" a slight ray of hope took birth in Victor who almost given up on everything.

"I need Mia Jannison, driving the Pluto Cabs. Don't delay this, put trusted ones on this and keep the matter under wraps," Victor ordered Travis.

"God, help me. I need her, give me strength" Victor prayed walking out of the seashore with a new found hope.

Mia who drove back to her office composed herself before she steps inside the office. She adjusted back her dress and combed her hair using her fingers. Securing her waist-length hair into a ponytail with a band she inhaled a deep breath.

"Mia, why didn't you pick any call? Why did our cab rest at the seashore for more than an hour? Why didn't you pick more rides?" the manager questioned Mia.

"I encountered a creep who tried choking the life out of me"

"What? Who is that?" he questioned immediately.

"I don't know but he tried killing me" Mia showed the bruises on her neck.

"Who the hell was that? How can they do this?" the manager was shocked.

"I have no idea Sir, if you don't mind can I take an off tonight? I am too shocked to concentrate" Mia requested.

Looking at the bruises on her neck and her exhausted form the manager let her go.

"No problem Mia, take a rest. I will fill in someone for you" He smiled.

"Thank you Sir, here are your keys" placing keys on the dashboard, Mia stepped out of the office. Her heart is still beating fast reminiscing the incident, she was unable to comprehend why someone attacked her.

"Excuse me" she turned back hearing a voice while waiting to catch a vehicle.

"Yes"

"Madam, we need you to come with us" the man dressed in a grey suit requested.

"What? Why should I come with you? Do you even know me?" Mia was petrified.

"Madam, we are no harm to you. Please take a seat" he said opening the car's door.

Mia stepped back trying to run but her back hit something hard. She turned back to see one more person dressed in Grey. She looked all sides and found more than 5 men wearing the same types of clothes.

"You people are from any boy band?" Mia questioned.

The one who opened the door for her chuckled hearing to that while the others stood intact.

"Madam, it will be better if you sit in the car by yourself, or else we will have to do that" one of the five persons stated in a calm tone, but that was enough to scare her.

Looking at the empty road she understood no one can help her

Having no option left, Mia sat in the vehicle with trembling hands. She bit her nails in tension. She was unsure about what's happening to her, her lips kept chanting the name of every God she ever knew.

"Madam, please don't worry. We are safe" one of them spoke from the driver's seat and that's when Mia observed that she is sitting in a vehicle that is at least five times bigger and wider than the cab she drives every night.

"Who the hell are they? What is happening in my life? Are they sent by that psycho who wanted to kill me?" Mia's mind put forth every possible question.

All the way through the journey her heartbeat went on a marathon, she was unable to enjoy the comfort the vehicle is providing to her.

"Madam, we have arrived at our destination" the one who warned her smiled opening the door ajar. Mia literally dragged her legs out of the vehicle and walked behind the man.

"The vehicle looked so rich, then why is this place looking like a cemetery? Oh my God, they brought me here to end my life. Will I die on empty stomach? The journey to heaven might be long" Mia cried to herself.

As soon as she entered the rusty building situated at someplace she never knew existed, she saw Victor sitting in there along with another good looking man.

"I know this is done by you. What the heck do you want from me? What have I ever done to you?" Mia barged towards him and clutched his neck in the same way he did.

The minute she clutched his neck, almost 20 guns were pointed towards her making Mia gasp in surprise
