"Guess my species."

"Uhhhhhhhhhh. What?"

"Guess."

"Dragon?"

"No."

"Elf?"

"No."

"What's the point of this?"

"To determine whether you can be an adventurer?"

"Why was that a question?"

"I didn't really read the handbook. Sooooo. Yeah."

"Are you permanent?"

"Yep. Pretty great huh?"

"No. I want a refund."

"You didn't even pay in the first place!"

"Maybe if I did I'd get someone who read the handbook."

"I find that to be quite disrespectful to the Changelings."

"I guess Changeling."

"I just told you that!"

"I guessed it."

"..."

"What is that face supposed to mean?"

"..."

"This is getting awkward."

"..."

"Well it was nice meeting you and I hope to never see you again."

"That's mean!"

"Your point?"

"Are we gonna keep having this back and forth conversation."

"That's, based off my knowledge usually how these work."

"I'm bored."

"Goodbye."

Xenon started to walk away from the Red-haired woman who suddenly decided to do something as she reached out her hand.

"What are you doing?" Xenon asked inquisitively.

"Giving your reward for the guess."

"Was the silence you checking the handbook then?"

"Will that make it less awkward?"

"Just give me the reward."

"Will my name work?"

"Goodbye."

She stared at the cloak billowing behind him and called out three things.

"First, Stop using wind magic to try and look cool, second my name is @&$&.

Okay let's say Jill, and third, you get a status screen."

At this, the thudding steps of Xenon stopped. He flipped and asked one thing.

"Why would I need one?

"I'm sorry what?"

"I can make one why would I need one."

"Say what now?"

"Hmmm, I should probably finish making mine. Give it a little personality and distribute it to everyone."

"Wait you made one!?"

"It depends. Currently, it can only scan you for your abilities and skills. I'm planning on making it able to absorb life force to strengthen you. I call the life force strengthening, levels as that's when the major changes happen. If you have more life force in your level your stronger then someone who just got into it. It will also translate all recorded languages and attempt to learn new ones for the database. As for why I'm telling you this it's like some outside force declared this necessary. Also, my villain side that deals with the speeches is coming out."

"This is revolutionary. Except we already have all of that. So not really revolutionary. More on that but how would you spread it to everyone?"

Xenon thought for a moment before putting his skeleton finger on the briefcase with a tapping sound.

"Perhaps as a part of the genetic code. I have no idea how it could be carried on but I'm sure your future tech can do that. You do have advanced tech right?"

"Yeah. We do. This could actually work!"

"Could we get everyone to get one?"

"Yes, and we could call it the strengthener!"

"Wait what's that? It's your naming sense running away. Since everyone has it how about the Universal system?"

"Horrible joke, but yes that sounds good. I'll just need to send this to the higher-ups."

"I want free updates when you make them and a prototype."

"That's fine. Go now. Shoo. Whatever your name is."

"It's Xenon. And I hope to never meet you again."

"The feeling is mutual. Wait for what!"

At this Xenon had already walked out of the weird adventurers' guild. What an annoying girl. Though she was quite bubbly and that means she was naive. And most of the time naive is dumb. Though some are smart and dumb. She looked sheltered too. Perhaps she thought no one would be biased against her even if she revealed her race. And what compelled me to speak about my project. Probably God or whoever made me. Who did make me? Where are they now? So many questions I should just leave them and go back to my job. Time to kill monsters, loot or dismantle them and sell them for money. I wonder if I can find my creator using the mana signature that created me. I wonder if a realm has answers?

Suddenly Xenon bent down and clutched his head. He felt as if the place he needed to go was the- the, then it disappeared. He was still close to the village and the pain continued. All of a sudden a little girl suddenly ran out of the village towards him. She waved her hand and moved her mouth although no sound came out. And he fell over, while he knew this would be beneficial to him after it passed during it he would be weaker, much weaker then normal.
