The Hunt

I passed out before I even hit the bed. Mom had followed me upstairs and saw that I made it. She tucked me in, kissed my forehead, and left. I know what happened because as soon as my eyes closed, his opened. I didnt move, I just watched. His mom really loves him. When mom left it was time to take action. Who knows where this guy is hiding but I need to find him fast before he gets away for good.

Snuck to the window sill and slid out. This has always been the more difficult part. We live in a two story building so getting down is difficult. Growing is not an option because the lego bricks can't get bigger than intended, but they can shrink. I have done this be fore so I know how to get up to the window sill. After I open the window, I back up and start to shrink. When at the right height I jump up onto the sill and jump out. Once I landed, I had to grow again. It did take a little bit of time as shrinking and growing was slow, but I was my full size again.

I went back to Brads house get his scent one more time. I set my nose to the ground and found the odor. Now all I have to do is follow it. The scent leads to the driveway. The smells like it was running rich on oil, so this would be any easier follow. I stuck to the shadows as I went flying down the road. The road merged onto a highway, so i no longer had cover. I was exposed, but I had no other choice. I ran as fast as I could to keep from being detected. After a little while the scent lead me to another house. This house smelled like cookies and whiskey. I crept around the house looking into every window until I finally spotted him. He was lying in bed with his blanket over his head. It was a little funny seeing his cowardis, oh and the irony. The hunter has now became the hunted.

Using my big claw I gently lift the window, but to no avail. The window was locked from the inside. I went around to every window but they were locked. I backed up to try and get a better look at the house, and spotted a chimney. I hopped up there with ease and started to shrink. I shrank just big enough to go down the chimney without getting stuck or falling through. At the base a little cloud of soot lifted off the ground and floated in the air. I was trying not to sneeze but I couldn't hold it in. When sneezed I slid all the way down the chute and landed on the ground. Lights started to come on all around the house. I knew I needed to hide, so I shrunk down to the side of a mouse and hid under the couch. There were billions of dust bunnies. Its as of nobody cleans, or if they do, they just sweep it under everything. I sneezed again but this time I was too small for anyone to hear.

The room with the chimney had the lights turned on.

"What in the hell is going on in here?" yelled an angry woman. "There is dust everywhere! Bradford come here this instant!"

Brad came out from his room looking like he barely slept. The woman looked him over and shook her head. "It wasn't you, so who was it? Do we have an intruder in the house? Start searching." Everyone grabbed a weapon of some sort and started searching the house for the intruder. The couch was a low rise, so i was barely able to fit under here so I know for a fact no human would be able to fit under it.

After an hour of searching they met up back in the room, cleaned up the mess, and went to their separate rooms. The lights were turned off and I waited another half hour to be sure everyone had fallen asleep. I got out from my hiding spot and creeped into Brads room. What happened next was not what I was expecting.
