shortly after soldiers left kain Jaina and Daiman close the bar early

Daiman punched the wall

After which kain walked up to Daiman "calm down let us think for a moment, there no point in bashing your head against the wall"

Jaina looks at Kain "why would they even arrest him do you know why "

Kain looks down "I don't know but dad had a short brawl with admirals son, he was causing a lot of trouble for us in the bar and then dad ended up kicking him out last time"

Daiman " Jaina we can always check with Thomas his higher up at police station "

Kain "I will go and talk to father if I can in few hours "

Daiman looks at Jaina "let's go"

Jaina nods and they leave together

Daiman "now where could Thomas be"

Jaina smiles "I know exactly where he is and what he's doing, rn but I promise I won't bring him spying on girls up unless I have to"

Daiman "thank you we really need his help now"

Jaina looks very said "yes we do need it Jaina looks worried I'm just worried that"

Daiman "don't worry will get Thomas some proof, and will prove him innocent let's take the main road it's getting late ."

The main road took them much longer since they had to go around and avoid small streets to get to where Thomas

They arrive near the public bath they can feel heat of the water, even though they are outside its night time right behind the public bath was the hill, which had a pump and it was connected to inside of the hill, where after people leave it closes for tonight water gets cleaned up thanks to mechanism and alchemy, and few street blocks away a police station was placed there due to safety of people entering and exiting.

The public bath had only 1 floor around it were some houses and few shops.

Damian "let's go behind the building there's no light source there so it is easy to sneak up "

Jaina gets really angry "yeah he thought I wouldn't notice him spying on me and other girls while we were bathing "

Jaina and Damian go behind with a light source, they had a few issues going back there but they found a little bit tight but long clearing.

Jaina "I see it would be impossible to spot this if without paying attention, I guess he just found it on accident "

as they get closer they hear someone giggling and they hear silent oh yes.

Thomas stands up his pretty muscular and looks like he is age-wise in his late 30s, he has medium length straight blonde hair he and his short beard and playfull look ,(although this time his more so worried if Jaina will bet him up) and wears sleeved business blazer with black tie, on the next layer sleeveless vest, black dress pants, with eight belt buckle that travels from the top to the bottom of the pant legs on both sides. Thomas looks at Daiman curiously "hm what's the problem?"

Daiman looks worried "our father was captured by soldiers earlier today"

Thomas looks at Daiman shocked "what really! Alright tell me what happened along the way "

Daiman explains the situation to Thomas, as they go out from the backside of the public bath managing to all get out without getting noticed

Thomas "i see we were never informed about this, I will go and find out what happened, for now, go back home and calm down, the first thing I will do is try to find out what happened and talk to your father "

Daiman "there must be something more we can do ..." Daiman clenches his fist

Jaina "Daiman there is really not much we can do now" then look at Thomas "at best we can hope tom can bail him out. "

Thomas "I'm sure if bring enough evidence I will be able to do something about it "

Jaina smirks "ah yes try to convince people who took our father, and are keeping him there without any good reason...".

Thomas looks annoyed and walks away "I will prove you wrong "

Daiman looks at Jaina "don't you think you went little too far there, we need his help to do this remember ?"

Jaina "They didn't show me any reason to think of them as trustworthy, Daiman we both know that honestly I kind of fear the worst. but yeah sorry I overreacted a little bit "

Daiman " let's see what he can do first, but yes you're right the court isn't trustworthy, unfortunately. "

Meanwhile at police station was one store building it was very clean and very well secured with steel layer behind slate, from the inside there were 6 cells in the back where prisoners where put to wait for their time to go to jail, it had small armory which had cutlasses batoons and pistol and office and next to it archive, where they archive all the crimes in this part of the city in magic crystals produced thanks to alchemy, there were also other offices in the building as well as a dressing room and captains office, but officers where rotating the whole time during the patrols if they weren't captain or weren't secretary offices its standard for all polcie stations around the city.

Thomas walks up to police officer a bit enraged secratery officer nervously gets up " Why wasn't I informed about Mr. Browns arrest "

Police officer " I don't know sir " soldiers was freaking out a little bit " they got directly warrant for the court and that this doesn't concern us if we want to complain that we should complain to court. " a police officer was very nervous

Thomas looks angry " ill have to talk to court tommorow they dont work this late give the cell keys"

police officers hand over the cell keys to Thomas who goes to the jail cell to talk to Mr. Brown

Thomas stands in front of his Cell asks concerned "Mr. Brown are you feeling alright"

Mr. Brown looks up and smiles compared to years ago his hair turned gray and slightly white and he grew a beard " I'm feeling fine now tom although I'm a little shaken I am fine "

Thomas "why would admiral arrest you... you never harmed anyone."

Mr. Brown "admirals son hates me as I defied him, and to him running amok in the bar he feels as if I humiliated him in front of the whole city "

Thomas "I see this is bad, the admiral has a direct influence in the court.... maybe if I could get evidence it could help my Mr brown "

Mr. Brown "you can't help me both know he wants me dead and that he will do all he can to kill me,

after a moment of silence Thomas was angry thinking hard about what he can do realizing but not wanting to admit its too late. "

Thomas "I could try with court tomorrow I could explain the situation and maybe I could stop it "

Mr brown smiles you're good man Thomas, but please if he went after me it's likely he will send someone after my children."

Thomas looks up at Mr brown "why would he aim for your family ?"

Mr. Brown "looks down It's because of an incident that happened a long time ago, he just needed an excuse to do this to me for a very long time, and now he seems to have it, he wants revenge after I and few others exposed his corruption."

Thomas looks curious "huh ?"

Mr. Brown "we exposed that he was using bribery and other dirty tricks to steal the land from other nobles, ofc later on it has proven to have changed absolutely nothing except brought me on the admiral's enemies list."

Thomas clenches his fist "very well I will check on Daiman and Jaina tomorrow to see if they get attacked and make sure they are safe" Thomas leaves

Tomorrow morning in bar Daiman and Jaina anxiously, waiting to see if Thomas managed to help their father.

They see Thomas arriving with a sad look on his face.

Jaina "you failed didn't you ..."

Thomas "We have an only one chance we have to go to the court house, I will explain what happened to court and hopefully, they can help us "

Daiman nods "alright then let's go "

after traveling through city for 30 minutes courthouse, looks like castle but its rather small from the outside traditional hardwood flooring and wood furnished, open building however it has 3 big rooms and some smaller rooms the Main room where court cases, are handled 2nd big room is archive where they keep the cases 3rd room is where either judge, review the case or private interviews with suspects are conducted with lie detectors other small rooms are offices of other

works and judges it has 2 floors.

Thomas "come lets head to the 2nd floor to the judge's office "

they get into judges office old woman in her 70s, is sitting on a chair looking with shelf next to office table and chair where she sits and 2 pictures on it and a window

The judge smiles "hello how can I help you "

Thomas explains the situation to the judge.

Judge takes the crystal and uses her mana to look over the details "I see ... I'm sorry dear this wasn't during my shift, Admiral Stewart, as I'm aware, managed to set Mr. Brown for execution"

Daiman and Jaina are frozen in place they don't know what to say.

Thomas looks sad "dammit... "

Judge " I'm sorry dear but I will certainly look into admiral Stewarts corruption..."

Daiman "and Jaina both run out Daimans tearing up although but Jaina for now, able to hold it back

Daiman "nononono " he runs as fast as he can and starts crying

Jaina trying to catch up "HEY WAIT UP slow down "

Jaina was more so overwhelmed by concern that Daiman would do something stupid

suddenly Thomas who took the shortcut through the back exit of the courthouse with judges permission caught up and blocked Daiman and grabbed his arm

Daiman looks furious "let me go I can't let him die!"

Thomas "calm down don't be stupid you can't stop execution now I'm sorry but whats more important now if that you don't do anything stupid "

Jaina caught up to them but she could already see tons of people, in center and soldiers on a big wooden platform.

Daiman " Jaina let's get closer I promise I won't get myself in trouble at least for now. "

Daiman and Jaina joined the crowd, for the most part, to pay respect to their father, people were confused who was getting executed after Mr Brown was brought up there the crowd was clearly unhappy, as Mr brown was well-beloved and nobody believed he would have done anything wrong.

A soldier stepped forward "Silence Mr. Brown has been accused of the attempt at murder and theft."

Daiman clenched his fists but noticed Jaina looking down sobbing and instead just hugged her and she hugged him back

the next moment soldier pulled the lever and Mr Brown head was cut off, at that very moment daiman dicaded he is going to become pirate.

after the execution without any words but crying Daiman and Jaina went back home.

Thomas "walk past them be careful you're father told me, admirals, after your the whole family"

Daiman "alright just please now is not the right time"

Thomas nods "ill well talk later than"

They go back to the bar and then Daiman and Jaina go though back door, which directly leads to their house the house had 2 floors it looks ordinary but has a very nice garden with flowers of various kinds, and 1 window next to the door house and 2 on top house was mostly made out of wood from the inside it was pretty basic, most of the money went into the bar and helping people they have fireplace table, and 2nd floor was later created due to the kids them growing up and Mr. Brown made room for each other them 2 of which left to see the world long ago.

Kain had to keep the bar open today a meanwhile Jaina and Daiman were sitting in their room, Daiman determined thinking to himself while Jaina being very downed and just stopped crying

Daiman "hm we need to get out of here, its no longer safe for us today's weather is very calm there's no way we could escape unless... We sneak into secured area steal that steamship "

Daiman gets up and walks to the window and thinks to himself "Jaina can get keys and clearance from Joan and Thomases help he would know the layout of the place surely."

Daiman leaves the room and goes into Jainas room as she was sitting on the bed thinking

Daiman "Jaina I made a choice we will become pirates today."

Jaina "what why today we have no weapons, we have no ship, how do you expect us to get out alive"

Daiman smiles "you always wanted to try out you're acting skills "

Jaina looks interested looks at Daiman "what do you have in mind "

Daiman "go talk to Joan convince him to give us keys and clearance to storage with a new ship in there il go get Thomas to help us "

Jaina looks puzzled "and how are planning to get Thomas to help, with that his justice over anything

Daiman i can pressure him with him spying on girls in public bath of course.

Jaina giggles "dammit you managed to make laugh a bit on the day like this" Jaina gets up with and is filled with determination "alright ill help you with that but under 1 condition, only 2 of us together must engage admiral Stewart for what he did to our father and our family "

Daiman "alright let's get ready then they ready and leave in 20 minutes and leave a message so that Kain knows what's going on"

Jaina heads to Port while Daiman head to the shipyard.

Daiman sees Thomas walking around the city on patrol

Thomas sees Daiman and looks surprised "huh wow you recover very quickly "

Daiman "I decided to become pirate and I need your help" after Daiman tells him Thomas quickly grabs Daiman and they go into to back alley"

Daiman breaks out of grip and looks at Thomas "oh common laws against us, besides at this point and we will die if we stay here"

Meanwhile in the port evening.

Jaina sighs "Alright I'm ready" Joan should be on the 2nd floor in the south side of the storage which has a window looking at whole port

Jaina looks as if she was expecting that "why am I not surprised by that "

the storage was rather empty today, most of the people were sitting on their post minding their own business and Joan's assistant was off duty.

Jaina smiles and whispers in the very satisfied and mischevious voice "well well well this just got a whole lot easier, oh will you so get fired for this Joan"

Jaina gets in building and goes to towards Joan's office.

Jaina comes in without knocking looking excited "OHHHH BOSS"

Joan small fat dwarflike dude sitting on a large table and a huge chair, with 2 closets and stack of papers next to him, Joan looked very very moody and shouts very loudly but most of the people didn't care enough to pay attention to what was going on "WHAT IS IT IM BUSSY! AND WORKER IS NOT SUPPOSED TO COME IN THE OFFICE LIKE THAT UNANNOUNCED"

Jaina grins "boss i need to get access for me and Daiman to the new ship we have in the docks

Joan looks at Jaina "NO WAY YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO ENTER THERE" he nods his head while talking "ONLY VERY HIGH RANKING OFFICERS AND NAVY PERSONNEL ARE SUPPOSED TO ENTER THERE"

Jaina "well you see boss I wouldn't be asking that cause Iknow how important that ship, is and how much you would love to get approval from the higher-ups"

Jaina "but boss I got an emergency update from the HQ" Jaina makes concern face "they want us to go early tomorrow and fill it in with food weapons and ammo "

Joan panics and sweats "WHAT WHY DIDNT I GET THAT INFORMATION IN THE MORNING, JACK IS SUPPOSED TO GIVE ME ALL THE UPDATES FROM THE HQ" he starts sweating and freaking out

Joan takes papers and hands over the keys "HERE TAKE IT I WILL INFORM HQ TOMORROW"

Jaina "as shes leave alright thank you boss" Jaina looks very happy after she closes the door she mumbles quietly "you're so gonna get fired "

Jaina sighs "I hope you know what you're doing...."
