ARC 3 Part 1 The Ellementals Of Zethros

After 2 weeks Jaina and Daiman reached the first island, it seemed to be part of a small group of islands, during those 2 weeks Daiman and Jaina were adjusting their rooms and making them feel more like home, and they trained together to improve their abilities and share tricks with each other.

The weather was very stormy and it constantly changed.

Jaina was on the upper deck "there's island ahead lets dock there"

Daiman struggles to control the ship "and after let's check if ships damaged"

The rain stopped and the weather quickly changed to tiny ice pieces falling from the sky.

Daiman " Jaina do you have any idea where did we end up "

Jaina "on one of the smaller Islands on Zethros, I had no idea about its issues with the weather

Daiman looks at the shore "doesn't matter now ill just lets land to the shore

Daiman "dammit that hurts"

Daiman despite the strong wind and ice pieces falling manages to reach the shore, Jaina jumps off the board to help Daiman secure the ship quicker.

Daiman secures the ship from the inside out and Jaina from Outside.

Jaina "alright I've finished everything on my side what about you "?

Daiman "same here now get back in here, I'm not planning to go out when its raining ice"

Jaina smiles "alright get prepare some hot milk for us "

Daimen goes into the kitchen "will do "

Jaina picks up one of the ice pieces and takes it with her "I this looks strange"

the ice pieces all looked similar while no sharp they still could cause injuries, they look like very large raindrops, but there are few very sharp ones Jaina has seen that looked like they could do some damage.

After Jaina got on board she seen the fire in the distance but quickly went inside.

Jaina noticed that her glove start to freeze longer she held it

Jaina was surprised "ok this is not normal..."

Jaina runs downstairs and Daiman notices Jaina and then follows her

Jaina drops the ice piece in Tube where it freezes inside part of it

Daiman widens his look "oh..."

Jaina sighs "thankfully this didn't get to engines"

Daiman scratches his head "yeah and I cleared most from the deck"

Jaina "we should get alchemy guide I need to figure out what this is..."

Daiman "well worry about that later, let's eat first"

Jaina "alright by the way I have seen some sort of colony nearby we should check it out"

Daiman puts hot milk on the table

Jaina tastes the milk looks surprised "this tastes very good, much better then I expected, also it doesn't seem like it spoiled either"

Daiman looks at Jaina " I'm no engineer but as far as I'm aware, it has an advanced system that I don't have an idea how it works"

Jaina laughs "fair enough well ill find out myself later"

Daiman "yeah sorry I'm not much help"

Daiman checked the table "ill need some tools to fix thing two on the table"

Jaina looks frustrated while taking a sip "lets first figure out what's wrong with goddam weather"

Daiman "relax well get to bottom of this"

Jaina looks at tube "after that you can't blame me for fearing we are not prepared for"

Daiman "let's try not to get into trouble and resupply "

Jaina "alright" they finish drinking hot milk they pick their coats and go out

The Daimans coat was black and Jainas red they were both winter coats the have fox fur on around the neck part and hood extending further back, while Daimans looked plain black Jaina took some liberty and used a needle to weave a portrait of a bear's face on the left chest piece of her cloak the bear looked quite intimidating, although it was rough around the edges she did a good job at it.

Jaina looks at Daiman "come to think of it, what you used against that Captian from a few weeks ago it looked a lot like magic what was it"

Daiman scratches his head "well it was alchemy from what I heard in training, and from how I understood it they use alchemy to start a spell, and from there on its about focus"

Jaina "I see so basically you can't do that normally without that kind of gun"

Daiman "well as far as I know only Flintlocks Revolvers and Sniper Rifles have that kind of alchemy devices put in them"

Jaina "so you know what they put in and how it functions, but you do not know how it's built or exactly how it works then"

Daiman nods "yeah exactly"

Jaina and Daiman put on hoods and get to the top of the ship

Daiman " seems like this is good enough to protect us"

Jaina "nods yeah lets moving "

They get off the ship and look around the area the trees seem to be partially burned or frozen but most of them are doing fine wildlife is around as well, however, it is handling the weather worse than trees.

There were a lot of animal corpses burned and frozen half of where likely eaten by predators, Jaina noticed there weren't many animals around he couple of wolves passed by trying to avoid them to get to the food.

Jaina looks at corpses and damage on trees "this is bad they can survive in these conditions for long "

The Ice pieces seem to have stopped falling Jaina and Daiman take off their hoods

Daiman "well have to find a way to leave this place quickly"

Jaina looks at Daiman "unfortunately that isn't going to be so easy now, their problem is our problem and besides, we need to resupply"

Daiman "yeah were running low of fuel, well dammit it all let's go to the village"

Jaina and Daiman get to the edge of the forest, they see the hill nearby since its day and hill doesn't look very steep.

Daiman "let's go on the hill and around the forest id rather not risk running into a pack of wolves"

Jaina nods "they are very dangerous"

Jaina pulls out her cutlass "let's be prepared just in case"

Daiman and Jaina make it to the top of the hill the weather was a little less windy, but they had a very good look at the island they were on.

Daiman " I see it now come here"

They see the small town fortified with a stone wall currently having a blocked port

Jaina looks at the small town "these people utilized the island's resources very well"

Daiman nods "that stone wall looks very solid they must have stone query nearby"

Jaina "anyways let's go down carefully"

Daiman and Jaina started going down the hill it proven pretty difficult because of the weather to not fall directly into the forest, Jaina and Daiman luckily got down without any more issues.

Daiman "I finally see a road here"

Jaina smiles "then we're on the right track let's go in "

They follow the road next to the forest and head towards the town
