Scarry!
The girl keeps on staring at the burnt dagger planted on the ground. From wondering, her face changes expression as she feels an approaching danger. The girl is about to cry. She is unable to move confused and frightened. She has no clue why she keeps staring at it. Her eyes were locked into that burnt dagger. Her whole body is shaking. She is full of mixed emotions. Wondering while scared at the same time.
Suddenly, a strong wind blows to her direction. The black smoke from burnt dagger fly swiftly and pass through her face. She then closes her eyes later after it passes through her. When she opened her eyes, her normal eye color change in a snap to red then back at once. She reacted to that as she was being hypnotized and then return to normal. The girl's aura also changes. Something strange is happening to her. She got a poker face and later change again to her normal state. She freaks out! She quickly runs away as fast as she could. She doesn't want to look at the dagger again. It was cursed. The girl is so afraid as she continues running until she bumped into someone. She looks at who is it and it was Kagura looking down at her. Her eyes squint because of the strong light coming from the sun. She bows her head and push it to Kagura's belly and finally cry.
"I'm scared!" The girl said while hugging Kagura tighter. Kagura just put her palm on the girl's head and the one to her back. She tries to calm the little girl.
"What happen Meisa?" She asks, but the girl she named Meisa, keeps her face on Kagura's belly.
"I'm scared Oneechan!" The girl continues, ignoring her question. Clueless Kagura was unable to see the change on Meisa's eye and expression like what it does a while ago. Meisa stops crying as she changes quickly from scared to poker face. Confused little girl, she then backs from the sad little scared face.
She looks at Kagura. "Oneechan!"
"Huh?" Kagura just looks at her. Meisa lifts her right arm pointing the location she had been.
"There is...There is something there" She says.
Kagura is curious and looks in the direction she was pointing.
"C' mon I'll show you" Meisa grab her right hand and pull her forward. Strange as Meisa was scared a while ago. Now she wants to get back there to show it.

A few steps and they're almost there when Meisa pointed again. The burnt daggers were still intact. And Kagura isn't at ease when she sees it. Well, it was too obvious that who the hell throw it all of sudden for no reason. She feels the danger as she sees that the dagger is not just some ordinary daggers. She looks back and bends her knees down to level her eye view to Meisa. Kagura put her hands on Misa's shoulder left and right. She was alarmed!
"Meisa I think we have to take you back" Kagura said while Meisa is just listening "It is too dangerous if we stay----" She cut what her saying when she senses something at the side of her eyes sight. Kagura and Meisa both notice it and they both look at the dagger. The dagger is producing smoke, slowly covering it completely then dissipate. Suddenly, few black petals fall as the smoke dissipates too.
"Huh" Kagura reacts in that turn of things. What is that? Kagura then stands up and step towards it. "Black petals?" Kagura is starting to worry about these things. She bends down to see a nearer view.
She stares at those petals and suddenly...
Snap of another dagger. The same looking dagger from the first one. Kagura feels that coming and out of shock, she fall back.
"Onechan!" Meisa shouted.
Her both elbows support her from falling back to the ground. Kagura gives big eyes to that, it was too close. With her worried face, she looks at the dagger and it quickly produces a cloud of black smoke. Kagura gets up and hurry. She gets near Meisa. "C' mon Meisa it is dangerous here" She said. She thinks someone is hiding, trying to kill them. They both run back when two more daggers fall in front of them that makes them stop for seconds. "Huh"
"Kowai...!" Misa shouts and hides on Kagura's belly. She is too scared now. Kagura is worried too so they continue to run. Suddenly from two daggers, few more daggers fall out of nowhere going in their direction.
"what?" the daggers as seen before, all of it suddenly dissipate and turn into petals after falling planted to the ground. Kagura decided that they run through the bushes and trees. The trees will be their shield against some more falling daggers. "c' mon Meisa" she insists.
Until few daggers turn into raining daggers.
It falls continuously only to their direction. They hide on trunk. Kagura is so worried. She doesn't know what to do. Why she has to encounter this when she doesn't have her umbrella with her. She can't do anything. "I am just ordinary without my umbrella" she said. "I can't protect Meisa that much" She whispers while hugging Meisa tighter.
Suddenly a dagger snaps on the trunk where they hide. Kagura was alarmed and bend down to Meisa. "C' mon Meisa" She then grabs Meisa's arm but Meisa disregards her approach. Kagura quickly bends her knees down to Meisa "Meisa what's wrong?" but Meisa gave her a poker face. "We have to hurry" She said full of worries.
"O nechan" She said. Another dagger coming there way. Kagura quickly grabs Meisa and dash the dagger coming.
"Meisa!" She shouted while grabbing Meisa. The dagger lock to the trunk behind Meisa and thankful it didn't slice them. She looks at Meisa and finally notices something strange about her.
"Onechan" Meisa give strange smile to her. Her aura quite change "Stay here" Meisa insists.
" What?" all of a sudden, she asks. Kagura is confused. Then notice the dagger behind Meisa planted on the trunk. It releases smoke that quickly passes through her. Meisa just gave a malicious smile. Kagura shockingly sees the change on Meisa. It was late to dash the smoke, It already passed through her. Later she feels uneasy. Feels like her energy was drained. Her vision slowly becomes blurry. She still sees Meisa staring at her with red glowing eyes. While resisting this sudden feeling, she can't think of anything at the moment, even about Meisa-----
"Mi...Meisa" She said. Kagura falls down to the ground unconscious. Many more daggers fall down around them. Meisa back to her realization. She looks so worried staring at her.

One afternoon...
The town suddenly gets alarmed. They spread rumors seconds away after Meisa got home. As a little girl, she told her parents everything and the girl who saved her life. It was quite messed up kind of story since she was hypnotized every now and then. The only rumor that spread out was about the black daggers and black petals. Some people are afraid to go to that place for now.
Hayabusa then heard about the news. Silent and stealthy, he gathers some more information about it. He hides beside a wooden house wall. He sees two people talking. He also sees the girl, Meisa, who brought the news. The lady was holding Meisa's hand maybe it was her mother. The other one was an old man.
"We are thankful that you're safe Meisa" the old man says "Just don't go there alone"
"She said she was saved by a girl," The lady said
"I was saved by a beautiful girl" Meisa said.
"Where is she now so we can thank her" the lady asks. Meisa just wonders, well she couldn't remember what happened.
"I don't know" Meisa replied.
Hayabusa reacted to that. So Meisa doesn't know what happen to the lady who saved her.
"What is she look like? maybe we can walk across this town and find her" The old man insists. Meisa smile as she remembers who is it.
"ahh... She has a blue hair-dress placed in her forehead. She is pretty, with white complexion, white-haired lady". She said with a wide smile.
Hayabusa was alarmed. She identified someone who resembles Kagura. He doesn't finish the observation as he goes along.

He then walks secretly away from it, when a lady unexpectedly approaching towards him. Without any delays, he just quickly move forward towards a direction away from her. The lady looking like near his age and she seems so familiar with Hayabusa. She notices Haya's sudden reaction and she follows him. She walks quickly and tries her best to follow Haya. By following him, she was led to an unpopular pathway, for at least no one is going to this way. She knows it is so impossible to follow a well trained, agile ninja, she assumed a failure. The lady started to show a sad face. While Hayabusa is currently hiding through multiples trees when he notices he was being followed by this lady.
"You said Hayabusa is a reliable man" Suddenly she said to herself.
"Huh" Hayabusa reacted when he heard this lady somewhat know him. Hayabusa was then puzzled.
"Your mother told me to look for you" She sighs while talking to herself "you always tell me to look for Haya in case" she continues. Hayabusa has no idea what was this lady was talking about. So without hesitation... He comes to confront the lady.
Hayabusa approaches her behind unexpectedly.
"Huh" the lady reacted when she turns and see Hayabusa. She was caught by surprise.
"Why do you know me?" he seriously asks. By her surprise, she tries to recover before answering. " uh..umm...She is always telling me a lot about you" her answer.
Hayabusa notices that an open place is unsafe for small talk.
"Follow me" He commands. He quickly turns and walks. The lady just follows him going behind the trees so they can converse secretly.
"I have been looking for her all this midday" she continues. Hayabusa turns his back to face the lady when they approached the area.
"Who?" Hayabusa ask. He needs a direct point.
"Kagura" She simply answered and Haya made a wide-open eye, alarmed. So this lady was from Omyouji clan, but why? where is Kagura? He was not with her all this time so where is she? Suddenly, he remembered what Misa said.
(ahh... She has a blue hair-dress placed in her forehead.) in Meisa's voice
"I've been looking for her all this time be----" the lady continues but Hayabusa quickly rushes and leaves. "Hey, Hayabusa" she calls questioning what just happen all of sudden. She knows it is impossible to follow him again. She decided not to do it and just look at him leave.
Confirmed! it was Kagura. She is in danger! He quickly rushes with no words and left the lady alone. He is clueless about those things. Feeling idiot about himself. Hayabusa continues running towards the rumored place, ignoring the rumored danger. He feels so worried about what just happened. Why she save the girl? What exactly just happened? Where is she? Full of questions as Haya is about to approach the land.

Finally, he reached the place and was shock about what he saw. Kagura lying on the ground full of black petals around her. Suddenly the wind blows making the petals fly to his direction. His shock was lock while taking a deep breath after a long run but his attention is on Kagura lying on the ground. What happens to her? He walks towards her and then he quickly grabs her. He lifts her upper body up and drags to his chest. His left arm touches Kagura's face.
"Kagura!" He calls while mildly tapping her cheeks. He waits for a second but no signs of response "Kagura!" he insisted again but still no response "Kagura" he keeps calling her and wants Kagura to please move just a little, please! ....but...no response. She stares at Kagura and his eyes started to get wet as tears are about to start-------for the first time. "Kagura!!!" he shouts with eagerness and gives her mild shake to her body. "Kagura!"
