9 The Shadow Element?

As everyone went back to their dorms to wait for class assignments, Angel ran into Jonathan on his way out of the Main Hall with Silio.

"Hello" Jonathan spoke with a smile "We'll be classmates in the future so let's get along" Raising his hand and going for a hand shake, Angel accepted it with a smile.

After simple introductions, Angel went back to his dorm room, sitting on his bed.

"That could have gone wrong" Said Angel with a big sigh. He thought about his conversation with the principle and sighed again.

With nothing more to do, Angel started practicing.

As time passed, Angel was still Accumulating the world Energy.

*Ting

As he looked at his wrist, he saw his new bracelet was lit up. As he raised his hand to get a better look, Angel froze.

On his white bracelet, 4 Elements were drawn. Circling around it with a beautiful design.

The first red drawing was of a Flame. With a closer look, It looked like it was moving.

The second were 3 white squiggly lines, representing Air. The same as the Flame, the lines looked like they were moving.

The third had an eye catching purples color. The drawn picture was that of a lighting bolt.

The Fourth was a circle, colored Black covering the whole thing. If you would take a closer look, you would see the inside of it having no end.

"What the hell?" Angel muttered.

"Kid, you're lucky" Said Loi, excitement obvious in his voice "Well, as you might have already guessed. The first one is Fire, the second is Air, the third is lightning which is an Advanced Element, and last is the Shadow Element, Which is a an Element you shouldn't have Angel"

"What do you mean?" Angel asked, confused.

"The Shadow Element is something that can not be combined and created, but an independent Element which nobody was able to control in thousands of years, only few Gods managed to figure out a way which they kept to themselves." Loi was trying his best to explain The Shadow Element since he himself doesn't know much, Loi was never interested in it.

Angel still didn't quite understand, but after some time, Loi and Angel agreed on something.

To never show it to others. If others found out, many horrifying experiments would be conducted on Angel just so they could try to use it somehow.

The Shadow Element is an ancient one, lost in time and only read about in books and stories.

Some say that The Shadow Element is one of the most powerful Elements in existence, harvesting its power from the shadows which allows the Attuned to perform godly feats.

And some say that The Shadow Element belongs to the dark and evil arts, blamed for the words condition and despised by some.

"So i should reveal all my elements except the Shadow Element, right?" Angel asked, making sure.

"No, not all." Said Loi "Having 3 Elements is abnormal in itself let alone having an Advanced Element too. We'll pick fire since the principal already knows about it and Air. We don't want much attention, not until you're strong enough"

What Loi said made sense to Angel, he knew the disgusting nature of people first hand. After agreeing with Loi and hiding the Elements on the bracelet, Angel went out.

"Welcome" Akara greeted Angel as he approached, still as beautiful as ever "How may i help you Angel?"

Even though Angel didn't notice, Akara calling him by his name is something that even she found strange. Angel was someone she couldn't forget, she found him odd as he never asked for help and seemed to just figure things out himself somehow.

"Hi" Angel greeted her back "I would like to register my Elements, do i do that here?"

"Yes, what Elements did you get?" Asked Akara as she grabbed an odd looking tablet. It was white in color with a circular light on the back. As Angel looked at it he found that it resembled an apple tablet so much that Angel thought its creator was stealing the idea.

After Angel was done, Akara gave him his schedule, which she passed to his bracelet by touching it with the lit circle on the back of her tablet. Now with a small click a holographic image would appear with the information.

Akara informed him he would receive his robe by the end of the day. As he still had enough time he called Silio and told him about his Elements and invited him to go eat.

"Fire and Air, that's not bad Angel." Said Silio, still in his robe "Fire is an offensive Element you'll have an easier time hunting and doing missions, with Air which has so many body boosting spells you're going to be invincible"

As they talked in the cafeteria, time passed quickly and the sun started to set.

When Angel got back, he found a package near his bed. It was a normal cardboard box with nothing written on it. As he opened it, Angel saw a black clothing wrapped.

After he opened it and spread it on the bed, he saw it, It was a robe.

The robe was long, would probably reach Angel's knees, it was Red in color with the drawings of the Elements on the sleeve. There was a red Flame for fire which was highlighted, bigger than normal and a white squiggle line for Air.

With the School emblem on the left side of the chest and stylish decorations, the robe was amazing.

Angel wore it straight away and looked at himself in the mirror.

"This is not bad," Angel muttered, admiring the craftsmanship.

Angel changed, sat on his bed and started with his Accumulating routine. Even when he looked calm and focused, Angel's heart was beating fast.

"Oh no" He whispered with his eyes closed.

"Well, i guess it is time." Said Loi "A Physical Breakthrough, get ready Kid"

Angel took a deep breath. He remembered the Pain from last time and prepared himself mentally.

Suddenly, Angel opened his eyes wide, his face red and his veins were bulging from his neck and forehead.

The pain was nowhere near like last time, back then the pain came in slowly and Angel managed to toughen through because of that.

But this time, there were no levels. Angel felt like his body was being torn apart, he could feel every cell in his skill screaming. Even though he wanted it to stop and didn't care about anything else, he couldn't do anything. His muscles tensed up as he stayed frozen like that, Angel even wished that he would just die and get it over with so the pain could stop.
