Icebeard

Leaving the Heaven's Forging shop, Lander went inside a pub and bought a barrel of wine, and some ingredients as he went back to the shop.

Meanwhile, the son of the Duke of Evergreen reported the events that happened recently to the Dwarven King and was bellowing. He told him that Lander, an outcast punched him while Grey was intimidating him so he wasn't able to retaliate afraid of the beast.

Ordering the Dwarven guards, the Dwarven King was a little bit uninterested by the human bellowing in front of him. He only ordered his guards as to give face to the human.

"Reporting to your majesty, the outcast you were talking about was sighted inside the Heaven's Forging," A guard dropped on his knees as he reported the information he acquired.

"Heaven's Forging? Interesting! It seems I have to personally go there!" The Dwarven King smiled with interest.

"I don't care if you go there personally or not, I want him dead! You understand me? Dead!" The son of the Duke of Evergreen shouted like a spoiled kid. But the Dwarven King wasn't a bit bothered by him.

"Kid, you better shut your mouth or you might not even know how you died," One of the dwarven guards threatened.

"You think my father was afraid of you?" The human sneered.

"He's not afraid of us nor the King, but it's different when you're talking about that old man," The dwarven guard smiled wickedly leaving the son of the Duke of Evergreen who became dazed after hearing the last part of the guard's word.

When Lander was cooking, a pissed dwarf went towards him while glaring but after smelling the aromatic flavor of food, the dwarf just waited patiently while his stomach grumbled.

After like an infinity of waiting, the dwarf devoured the foods that was served that made Lander chuckled, "By the way, the name's Lander."

Lander extended his arm but was rejected as Lander forgot that they don't do shake hands in this world. Still, the dwarf replied, "Icebeard."

Done eating, Icebeard went back to work while Lander just sat beside Grey while enjoying the barrel of wine.

Not long after, a couple of dwarves entered the shop without even knocking, leading them was a man with a crown wearing a red robe with sparkling stones embroidered with it.

The Dwarven King looked at Lander and just nodded his head as he moved towards a sit. Lander nodded back but kept quiet and just indulged himself in drinking.

After six hours of waiting, Lander was now drunk when Icebeard came out with beads of sweats pouring down his face.

"So what do you think Lander?" Icebeard smiled as he placed the sample of each weapon he made.

Because Lander was drunk he just swept his gaze at those weapons, "Trash! All of them are trash!"

Icebeard was suddenly pissed, veins popping on his face but was still controlling his anger, "What do you mean trash? I did everything to make this and you're calling it trash?"

"When I say trash! It is trash! *hiccup*," Lander shouted as he pointed at each of every weapon, "See this shuriken, the edges should be more refined. It can't even injure an enemy when you throw it."

"This spear, so heavy. How can an ordinary man use a spear? A spear isn't only for the strong, a spear is a weapon than could make even the mortals be dragons when using it.."

"What halberd is this? This is no ordinary than a stick! What a weak weapon!"

"And this scythe? Have you never seen a scythe? A scythe should be bigger than a normal human and you created a small as a bolo?"

"This dagger is too big! This isn't a sword! A dagger is as small as a knife! Pure Trash!"

"Heaven's Forging? Bleh? What Heaven's Forging? You can't even forge these basic weapons? Only a single customer and can't even satisfy the needs?" Lander mocked while he kept on drinking.

Icebeard wanted to smack Lander but his pride as a forger was insulted so he kept his cool and went back to his forging room as he continued to modify the weapons that Lander commented. He wanted to prove that he was the best forger amongst the dwarves. And he will show how great his creations were.

The night passed and yet Icebeard haven't even slept, he kept on forging and modifying the weapons while Lander was already fast asleep because of the alcohol. The Dwarven King left knowing that he can't interact with Lander and Icebeard.

Morning came when Lander was awaken by clanking of metals inside the forging room. He was about to step out of the shop when he saw the Dwarven King entering. Also, the noise from the forging room suddenly stopped, indicating that the forging was done.

Icebeard walked out holding a sample of weapons he modified. Upon seeing the weapons, Lander became so excited. "These? Whoaw! These are great!"

"So how was it?" Icebeard asked smirking with pride.

"These are better than those trash you made last night!" Lander exclaimed that made Icebeard's mouth twitch.

"Trash? Don't you know those were purple ranked items?" Icebeard was insulted as he retorted.

"Purple Ranked Items?" Lander was curious.

"You don't know?" The Dwarven King looked at him with curiosity as he explained, "Items have their own rankings, white being the lowest, followed by blue, then orange, red, purple, silver and gold being the highest."

"I see! But even though it was ranked as the third highest, a weapon that can't be totally used by the holder isn't a weapon. It is still considered a trash weapon!" Lander nodded while he explained.
