beginning III

"Take the furnace and leave this place, i will try to keep him busy" feng insisted Nyx to leave with the furnace after they finally recovered their balance.

"You know I can't hide from him he can sense us in any part of the realm we can only fight"

"What about mortal realm, he can't sense you there"

"You know I can't enter the mortal realm. But i will send the furnace to the mortal realm"

When a being is promoted to higher realm they can't physically come back to the realm . The only way for them to travel to the lower realm is by creating an avatar of themselves but the avatar can't just be materialized it has to be born in the lower realm. Only non living things can be sent between the realms.

After breaking the seal from the ring she took out the furnace and teleported it to the mortal realm.

Without getting any break they were caught under intense pressure as if the whole sky was weighing down on them. This was ofcourse the aura of Cronos who had just appeared in front of them with flames of rage in his eyes.

Without giving them any chance to react he had pierced his halberd through the spirit core of Nyx completely destroying it. The core is a part of the body of powerful primordials where all the spirit energy is stored.

BOOOM... a huge explosion was caused by the distruction of the core.

The explosion was so intense that Cronos and feng were blown far into the void, the ground below shattered shaking both the realms.

The damage to the body of  Cronos from the explosion was negligible but on the other hand the feng's body was completely destroyed although his core was still intact.

A primordial of that level of power can regrow his whole body from the spirit core. So feng was technically still alive.

A few moments after the ground debris

Settled  Cronos began to search for his dimensional ring. He could sense the location of the ring and quickly reached there to collect it.

Despite being made from the strongest metal in all of the realm a part of the ring was destroyed from the explosion but it was still  functional.

After imbuding his sense into the ring he began to search for the furnace but could no longer find it inside the ring.

Rage once again clouded him and he crushed the remaining ring along with the realm present inside,  with his fingers.

He reached for the Feng's spirit core which was thrown on the other side of the realm thousands of miles away.

The core had already started forming a new body, the head way already complete but feng was still unconscious.

Grabbing the head  Cronos imbued his energy inside it and began searching about the furnace in his memory .

After checking the memory he crushed the core with his hands, this time containing the explosion completely within his fist.

The soul of feng began to fade away his senses where slowly  starting to disappear into the void but the next second his consciousness was sucked inside a magical ruin. He could also sense Nyx, but because he  no longer has a body  he didn't know what was going on and the next second everything seemed to fade away.

Nyx had already created a magical ruin with the last bit of her power before getting pierced by the halberd.

The ruin would collect the souls of both Nyx and feng and send them to the mortal realm to be reincarnated.

[From tomorrow the story of our main character will start]
