Family head Zhu glared at Yue Chen with cold eyes then at Zhu Zi who stood in the arena "Offspring of the Yue family I will take our friendship with the Yue family into consideration and spare your life. The next time you are this brazen don't blame me for acting out"

Yue Chen raised his brow and shot family head Zhu a strange look as if he were looking at a fool " family head Zhu seems to be mistaken. I have no ties in the Yue family so there is no need to restrain yourself"

"Haha even children look down on your capabilities brother Mu, how distraught you must feel" Qiyuan Yi took the chance to add oil to the fire, completely disregarding the Zhu family's face.

Family head Zhu twisted in Qiyuan Yi's direction with a frenzied expression "Qiyuan Yi do you dare to fight me?!"

"Ayo the one that brother Mu should be paying attention to is not myself" Qiyuan Yi smiled with slanted eyes as he pointed at Yue Chen who had suddenly appeared in the arena once more.

"If the Zhu family doesn't obey the rules then I will do the same" Yue Chen stated in a mischievous manner.

"Why do you oppose me and my family, Yue Chen?" Zhu Zi whom had been silent the entire time spoke up out of curiosity.

"Do I need a reason? " Yue Chen chuckled at Zhu Zi's question and shrugged. As a matter of fact even if the Zhu family had not caused a disturbance Yue Chen had intended to cause trouble for them from the start.

Yue Tao watched as the whole scene played out and shook his head helplessly. Even if he had warned Yue Chen not to provoke the Zhu family a hundred times over this would have happened eventually, that's just how Yue Chen was. "haha.....that stubborn attitude must have come from sister in-law"

The whistling sound of blade cutting through air caused Yue Chen to leap backwards instinctively. An invisible pressure weighed on his body making his movements sluggish.

"All bark and no bite, your parents must be ashamed to see your flamboyant attitude" family head Zhu scoffed at Yue Chen then nodded at Zhu Zi with a smile.

Yue Chen frowned as he wiped a streak of blood from his forehead. Yue Chen had confidently escaped Zhu Zi's range of attack and thus had been prepared to taunt the duo further. Unexpectedly, Zhu Zi had struck before Yue Chen could even react resulting in a small injury.

Hearing family head Zhu's remark Yue Chen felt his blood boil but immediately emptied his mind as to not fall for the other party's tricks. "it is not that I am incapable of biting but I am afraid the Zhu family cannot handle it"

As the words left his mouth Yue Chen had dashed towards Zhu Zi, parrying her blade in the process. Lifting a dark gold dao sword Yue Chen drew multiple strokes in the air.

Lines of blood slowly surfaced on Zhu Zi's throat. Taking a deep breath Zhu Zi retreated while her face was beading with sweat. The wounds were shallow and none of them were life threatening but the countless small wounds sent shivers down the spines of spectators present. If his blade had gone a little deeper the Zhu family would have lost a genius.

"You!" Unable to hold his temper family head Zhu Mu charged at Yue Chen furiously but was blocked by a stream of glowing crimson energy.

Appearing behind the stream of energy was none other than the light hearted Yue Tao. "Zhu Mu do not cross the line" as he said this the warm smile on Yue Tao's face gave of an eerie feeling as if one wrong move would send you to the pits of the abyss...

"Yue Chen you will pay dearly for this, Yue Tao cannot protect you forever!!" Zhu Mu flicked the sleeves of his robes and turned away grudgingly.

"I look forward to our next meeting , lady Zi" Yue Chen laughed, stepping into the transfer array and fading in a beam of light.

The entire colosseum was in a state of shock. One of the 7 beauties had just been totally humiliated! Not only was she a prodigy but also the future heir of the Zhu family! The Zhu family was humiliated!

"That bastard, after all that talk about disregarding others he jumped ahead of everyone else" Pan RuYue complained while ruffling her hair.

Thanks to that bastard the entire selection will have to be adjusted!

Inside the transfer array

Lush greenery spread as far as the eyes could see. Standing in a huge field of flowers Yue Chen was surrounded by enormous trees in every direction. Unlike the blood world he was familiar with there were three moons covering the sky, blue , red and a violet colors respectively. Dancing through the midnight sky were small wisp-like creatures that blotted out a part of the sky.

Shaking his head faintly Yue Chen tried to overcome the nauseous feeling of the space around him warping instantaneously. After Yue Chen had finally come to he immediately returned his sword to his spatial ring. According to Yue Tao, after stepping into the transfer array one would be transferred to a random location in the world. Those who were fortunate or had great affinity would be transferred to one of the Seven Gates to receive the inheritance of the Gods. Among the known Gods were the Gods of the more common attributes namely Fire, Wind, Water, Nature, Shadow and Light. Roaming into the land of one these Gods could potentially make you a successor of one of these beings.

Yue Chen took a deep breath and surveyed the area silently.

Boom! Boom!

The ground shook violently with every passing moment as if the God of destruction had descended to rein destruction upon the world. The overgrown trees trembled with every explosion and the wisp-like creatures scattered in a frenzy, escaping as if their lives were in grave danger.

Yue Chen's eyes widened as the colossal beasts' shadows loomed over the forest from the distance and his heart palpitated from excitement and fear as he watched from afar.
