732 Extra 19: Change the World (13)

Ok, first, I want to apologize for being away for a week, and now everything will be back to normal. The funeral was a day and a half trip away, so it was 3 days of driving, the rest I spent with my cousin, and I was only able to return yesterday at 12 pm.

"It feels nostalgic to go back to this era" - Kurama said with a small smile as he carefully caught Kagome and jumped out of the well.

The girl blushed at these actions, though she quickly calmed down when she touched the ground again.

"Tousan!" - Izumi exclaimed as she ran to her father after sensing his presence.

Kurama smiled happily as he hugged his baby - "I missed you, my little Kitsune."

" I missed you too, Tousan" - replied Izumi as she hugged her father with all her might, as if she was scared that he would disappear without a trace.

"Daughter."

"Tousan."

"Daughter"

"Tousan"

"Daughter"

"Ok, that was enough" - said an irate voice.

"Seriously, you need to learn to read the atmosphere, this is an emotional reunion between father and daughter" - said Kurama as he looked at Inuyasha with annoyance.

"You were gone for less than a week, so don't act like it's been years since you haven't seen each other!" - Inuyasha exclaimed in annoyance.

Kurama and Izumi gave him a blank look because they hadn't been separated for that long since the Fourth Shinobi World War had ended.

"Sorry, Kurama-san, but I agree with the dog food breath, you're acting too strange for it to have only been a few days" - Kagome said as she raised an eyebrow.

"You guys wouldn't understand" - said Kurama as Izumi nodded at her father's words - "Anyway, let's better change the subject."

Kurama quickly let go of his daughter and looked carefully at Inuyasha, who could feel a deep sweat running down his back - "I see you've been training with the gravity seals I gave my daughter, not bad, though you still have a long way to go to become as strong as her."

Inuyasha's expression distorted when he heard this because he didn't like being belittled or treated like a weakling.

"Oh, I'm not belittling you, I'm being completely honest" - Kurama replied as he looked at the boy who looked like he wanted to bite him after hurting his pride - "Izumi hasn't even shown 40% of her power."

Inuyasha gave a glance to the girl, who quickly nodded at her father's words, in the process making Inuyasha's expression darken.

"As for you, boy, I can see a huge potential, not only because you are a hybrid, but because I can feel that your power is stagnant inside you, as if your body was a mechanism blocking your Youki, one that needs a key to flow normally, that's why you are so weak currently" - Kurama continued as he started to think - "I don't understand though, why is your body like that?"

"Are you saying that my power can't surge?" - Inuyasha asked with an angry expression.

Kurama raised an eyebrow because he noticed something strange about this boy, a mysterious gleam in one of his eyes - "Did I see wrong?"

The silver-haired man was silent before nodding to the boy's question - "Yes, your body seems to contain your Youki, and I don't think it has to do with you being a Hanyo, but because there is something that is blocking your Yokai side, honestly, I'm a bit intrigued."

"So, what do I have to do?" - Inuyasha muttered as he frowned and sat down on the grass.

Kagome looked at him with a strange feeling of pity, though she quickly returned to normal.

"It's simple, we have to train your body as best we can, so we don't waste time, and when we manage to find the key to release the Youki hidden inside you, your power will easily double or triple" - Kurama answered honestly - "I'm going to be honest with you, during my youth, one of my friends had the peculiarity of not having a huge spiritual power, and it prevented him from using many mystical techniques, so to remedy this situation he trained his body to the limit, and ended up being so strong that he could basically fight and defeat a monster that would make you tremble just by looking at them, And you know what's the best thing? "

"What ?" - Inuyasha asked with mild interest.

"This man was a simple human" - replied Kurama with a huge smile - "Imagine that, a simple human wreaking havoc, throwing punches that could break mountains."

"A simple human?" - Inuyasha repeated because he couldn't believe it, and honestly it wasn't like they could blame him, not when all the humans he had ever known, were mere weaklings.

"I gain nothing by lying to you, young man," Kurama replied as he shrugged his shoulders, "I'm not going to say that he was a normal human, because that would be discrediting him, this man used his body as a catalyst and used forbidden techniques to accomplish this feat."

"Forbidden technique?" - Inuyasha repeated as he frowned.

"Yes, a technique that slowly destroyed his body the more power he gained, to the point of causing death after unleashing his full potential" - Kurama replied while recalling the battle between Maito Gai and Madara - "Did you expect me to say something like a technique that stole another's power? No, the man I spoke of accomplished all that I have told you with only physical effort and willpower."

"Are you talking about Master Maito Gai, Tousan?" - Izumi asked as she recognized what her father had said.

"Yes, the same one who trained Inari" - nodded Kurama with a huge smile as he remembered those times - "Anyway, I hope you understand what I'm trying to say."

"Yes" - nodded Inuyasha with seriousness - "If I can't train that aspect, then it's better to concentrate on others, in this case the base which is my body."

"Exactly, so we start right away" - said Kurama with a huge smile - "What do you think?"

Inuyasha swallowed saliva because he could notice that the silver-haired man was looking at him with red eyes with slitted pupils - " S-Sure"

"Perfect" - Kurama smiled as he grabbed Inuyasha by the shoulder and dragged him out of the place.

Kagome looked at Izumi, who only cocked her head to the side - "Is this normal?"

"Oh, not in the least, in fact, I think Tousan took a liking to Inuyasha" - Izumi replied with a happy smile.

Kagome gave him a blank look because if this was them hitting it off, she didn't want to know what a furious Kurama looked like.

"Is something wrong?" - Izumi asked as she looked at the girl from the future.

"Actually, there's something I have to tell you," Kagome said as she shook her head and explained the appearance of this strange woman who had accompanied Kurama before returning to the past.

"I see..." - Izumi muttered as she frowned, though she quickly shook her head - "Ok, I understand, I'm going to talk to Tousan, though if I'm honest, I was sure something like this would happen sooner or later."

"What do you mean?" - Kagome asked with a frown.

"The truth is, I don't have just a mother," Izumi replied as she scratched her cheek.

"Huh? Really?" - Kagome asked as she gave her an incredulous look.

"Yes, my biological mother, she's one of my father's wives, and honestly I stopped caring because each of them loves me like she's my Kaasan" - replied Izumi happily.

Kagome remained silent because she honestly didn't know what to say to this.

"The pearl presence reappeared" - muttered the man with the body covered by a huge white baboon skin - "I'm confused though, how come the presence disappeared for a few days, and reappeared today?"

The man was silent before frowning under his animal skin hood - "I may have to start with my plans, although it is impossible to steal the pearl with that man, at least it is impossible to do so if the pearl is complete."

A huge smile appeared on the unknown man's face as he thought about this - "That is a possible solution, I just need to arrange for the pearl to be destroyed and collect its fragments, with that I won't have to directly confront that unknown man, that way I can also prevent him from interfering with my plans, at least until I have gathered enough power to be able to confront him"

With those thoughts, the man got up and walked to the forest, a place where he encountered a group of demons and Yokai of different sizes. He looked at them silently for a few seconds before turning around - "You have your instructions, I hope you won't fail me..."

The demons quickly disappeared from the place, leaving the stranger completely alone.

"Now it only remains to wait for the good news" - smiled the man as he took a kind of honeycomb, from which some hideous wasps came out - "Go and fulfill your mission".

The wasps flew off in different directions as the unknown man disappeared into the forest, not realizing that fate was trying to return to its original flow, and he was acting as nothing more than a medium to fulfill his mission.

Naraku thought that everything was under his control, not knowing that he was nothing more than a pawn that would only serve as a stepping stone for Kagome and Inuyasha to continue to grow. The sad fate of a man who did everything he could to try to survive, was nothing more than the act of a clown whose days were numbered.
