6 The Legend of Syrion: The Beginning

A story of a young girl who is destined to save Syrion. Syrion is a rich kingdom. The king and queen is blessed with two sons - Valkan and Mythos. Both of them are skillful warriors and able to defend the kingdom from the invaders. At that time, Syrion is a peaceful land. Priestess Illuminada has a prophecy. A young girl with mythical power would be the successor of the queen.

Then, they found this girl. She is one of the students in the temple. Her name is Helena. She was chosen to guard the fire jewel and to be the successor of Empress Minoa.

When Empress Minoa became ill, the king decided to anoint Valkan and and Helena to be the next rulers of Syrion. Mythos was aggravated at the king's decision. He challenged Valkan, his older brother, in a duel. If one of them wins, he will become the king. But, Helena fall in love with Mythos. She desired that Mythos will win in a duel. On the other hand, she also wants to be fair. She challenges the two princes. If one of them is able to get the fire jewel, he would be her husband.

Helena is a skillful warrior. Her strength is nothing to be compared with them. Valkan is stronger because he is anointed by his father to win the challenge. He took the fire jewel from Helena. And so Helena is very disappointed. She never think that Valkan is very witty.

Priestess Iluminada advised Helena to accept the fate for the good of country of Syrion. On the other hand, Mythos could not accept his defeat. He lured the kingdom's enemies to invade Syrion. Helena did not expect that Mythos could do anything like that. She promised herself that she would curse Mythos and his alliance to death if they got near to their palace.

She and Valkan planned a good strategy to defend the country of Syrion from the enemies. Together, with the help of fire jewel, they defeated their enemies. Mythos died in the battle with Helena. Syrion is now at peace under the new rulers, Valkan and Helena.
