Cornelius was a general in the army of the Dacian kingdom, but he retired after a major battle that left him wounded, he was also best friends with the current king of Dacia.

Julian was an orphan so when he was a teenager he enrolled into the army to make a name for himself, and that's where he made friends with the current king that was an officer in the military, later finding out of his identity.

The Dacian Kingdom had good terrain and resources making the nearby Dune Empire envious, to make matters worse a war between the two would leave both weakened making a third party the winner.

The Dacian Kingdom is at the centre of the Continent with the Holy Empire of Valahia to the North, the Dune Empire to the South, The Alize Country to the West, the Eastern Federation to the East, beyond south of the Dune Empire lay the Sien Domain and further south the Southern Federation.

Each Kingdom, Empire and Federation possessing a dominant element in their populace

The Holy Empire - the light element

The Dacian Kingdom - the fire element

The Dune Empire - the earth element

The Alize Country - the wind element

The Eastern Federation - the thunder element

Southern Federation - the water element

Sien Domain - the darkness element

Of course, some individuals possessed multiple elements like for eg

The Zi Family of the demon crow were a dual element family having both the Wind and Dark elements

The Sei Family of the demon snake; Dark and the Water Element

The Surufu Family of the demon wolf; Dark and thunder element

The Torikku Family of the demon fox; Dark and fire element.

Julian met his wife after an attempt of invasion from the Dune Empire.

He was guarding the southern border when the Dune Empire attempted a sneak attack; he nearly lost his life then and there if it weren't for one of his friends who sacrificed himself so that he and the prince (the current king) would escape unscathed.

Unfortunately for him, he got his arm injured by an arrow which flew with the intent of killing the prince (the current king).

But with misfortune comes great fortune, and that's how all stories happen, with a twist.

She saved him, and they fell in love. After having Lucia, she left him stating they can't be together; they are from different worlds.

So Raven leaving, brought back an old wound. He was both angry at himself and Raven, but more at himself for letting his daughter go through the same situation as him.

''I must find a way to distract Shadow, lady Zara told me to eliminate both the boy and the woman.'' said a shadowy figure.

Just imagining the rewards after accomplishing the task made him feel ecstatic.
