1 Introduction

What.. *panting hard* my body feels so weak that I dont even know what I should do. Should I call for backup. No. The others are at the base. I have no more energy to do cable. The enemies are closing in and I'm the only one here.

I hid in the bush and called them. The first one I called was that one eyed magician, Cyclops. I heard him busy fighting his own monster so I scratched that idea. I started praying to the gods and they started taking me back. Hopefully no one will try to find me. My arms are too weak to do another cable to even dare run away. In the corner, I saw a shadow busilh trying to get some gold.

....

How did I even get to this point?

I remember when I was young, I've long dreamed to fly. When I finally acheived that dream I became one of the firsts to do it. One day, I was looking for food with my cables. I saw a deer, it ran so quick but I was able to kill it. I prayed for its life and from then on I immediately notice the potential with this weapon, its greatly terrifying but can also greatly help those in need. I started small just in our village and chased off monsters trying to go in then soon I was protecting the whole city, I was deemed as a hero. No monster dare tried to enter any more upon hearing my name.

Suddenly, I was recruited by Tigreal. A great warrior of the land. At first it was an honor, now it became a pain but I was able to greatly master my cables even more but not enough. I need more experience. I need to improve.

As I slowly got healed by the mysterious Gods above. My arm that didn't work before worked like a charm and I was able to finally fight again. Cyclops returned as well, I wonder why.

"Fanny, our base. They're coming!" He screamed obviously panicking. I pat his back and said bravely, "Dont you worry, drink your potions and stay back. I got this." I immediately set off right away and started to look for Clint, that guy and his gun. He's sneaky but not really powerful enough to take them all. I can't trust him right now. Who should I go to? As I turn to try to kill the crab, I saw Leomord. Good old Leo and his horse. We've been set out on missions for so long that I consider him a great teammate. We started to work under Tigreal together so it's no wonder. I gave Leomord the attack call he nods and immediately ran to the base. As I try to kill them, Claude the good old thief came out of the bushes to get the final blow. "As slow as always cadet." His monkey starts laughing. I swing my sword but he teleports away. "This is no time for laughing. I've been looking for you. Go back to the base and defend." He shoots to the side of my head obviously missing but he almost made me slice his head up. "You see, unlike you, I already have a plan. Defend, I'll do something more important." What's not more important than defending our base, our home. Before I could even ask he teleports away. That guy and his stupid monkey.

I go to Leomord and helped him out. He didn't want to kill anything so I persuade him that it's just a minion. They follow their evil leader. If we don't we'll get in trouble with Tigreal. "They're mind slaves, we shouldn't kill them. They don't know that they're doing. Just look at them." I chop the head off without hesitation. There's no point in talking with a pacifist. Leomord is a strong hero, I saw him kill all 5 enemies at once. From then on, I admired him but once I got to know him, he ticks me off.

I seperate from him and defend the other lane...

Wait what.. How?

The battle announcer soon screamed VICTORY in our faces.

How it could be possible??!!

Cyclops is trembling inside the base

Clint is hiding somewhere out there

Leomord doesn't even want to fight unless its a person

No way

Claude appeared out of nowhere giving a high five to his monkey. The fight is over for now atleast. I caress the monkey's head to give him a thank you and walked away. "Oh come on. No head pats for me?" He grinned. "You're just a mere low rank, I'll never talk to you." I slowly walked away back to the city as I realize he fought the minions on his own.

"If I'm a low rank, then why are you with us?" He laughed off but for me it was a dead serious question even I don't know. The closer you are assigned to the city means you're weak and isn't trusted by our leader Tigreal but I've shown him what I can do. If only I was like Alucard, he sure has had it good. His name is in the spotlight everywhere in the city at how much of a hero he is and since he took charge over the outer base. Less things happened to the city.

There are many roles in our world, starting with the Warriors who were placed in the Core Walls having the easy life of defending against almost nothing and enjoying their title given by the city as much they can.

Next were the Inner Core, the Masters of the fight that was in charge of the occasional minion coming in. That's where I've been assigned. Earlier, there was the rare Titan Minion and it took almost my life to fight it off.

And after that is the Outer Core, Epic oned get assigned to that. Sometimes the evil abyss get to that area having much more of a showdown than we could.

And lastly the Outside, Mythically great people get assigned there such as Alucard the greatest warrior.

Together, we are the defenders of the City of Legends.
