The Holi Wars is a name given to the catastrophe by people. It is people who suffered from its effects that know how to dread it most. In truth, the Holi Wars are not wars at all. They are a celebration. Gods send their minions to welcome a new addition to their ranks. Should the new God ascend, they will celebrate, as gods often do, with sacrifices. 

Feasts are occasions when one can eat and drink to their fill, but do Gods eat? Do they drink?

The first sign of the Holi Wars is the growing discord between the nations. Then beasts start to emerge. As soon as men engage in bloody wars, beasts come to feast on the dead. Others are sensitive to the smell of negative emotions. Fear, grief, anger... They all draw the beasts to their meals.
