24 The Battle of Hogwarts- 1

1138: 174 Years(17)

I and Thor came out of the portal, right in front of the entrance gates of Hogwarts. Loki had been dropped near a cave which had a secret entrance that went to the second floor of the castle.

I look around and see something that I'd already seen in the mirror, but still shocked me. Everything was frozen. The trees in the Forbidden Forests, the high towers of Hogwarts. Heck, even the Black Lake was frozen. There was ice all over the grounds, not even leaving one speck of grass visible.

"All Father! This looks horrible... Depressing!" Thor whispers out, looking at the view in horror.

I nod, grimacing a bit. I turn to him and say, "This is what happens when people mess with things they're not supposed to."

Looking at the black clouds in the sky above us, and the falling snow, I speak out loud, "Will you get rid of those clouds, please, Thor? I'll bring in the heat to melt the ice. This might.. might.. weaken the Dementors too."

Thor nods, grins weakly, and says, "VERILY!" He then focuses, and puts his hammer up in the air, throwing thunder into the clouds.

While Thor clears up the clouds, I focus on the sun above, which I had already made a connection with, and focus on bringing a high intensity beam of sunlight right on the Castle grounds.

Thanks to Thor's weather control, and my heat, the clouds clear up within a few minutes, and it takes another minute for the ice to start melting.

I smirk, and turn to Thor, "So, Thor. I bet I kill more Dementors than you."

Thor laughs loudly and pats my back, "In your dreams, little brother."

I take it good naturedly and walk towards the gate, summoning Ljosgeirr as I go. Before I can do anything, Thor spins his hammer a few times, and throws it towards the gates, breaking them, and throwing them inwards. He calls back Mjolnir and smirks at me.

'Let the games begin,' I think to myself, and start firing beams of my Light at the approaching Dementors, while Thor attacks them using his lightning, both of us laughing madly.

~~~ Third Person POV~~~
Loki exits the portal, and sees the depressing sight of the frozen castle lands. 'I can simply tell, just by looking that this used to be a majestic castle. Just for this, I'm going to increase the pain this... Wizard, feels.' Loki thinks to himself, and enters the cave.
He uses his magic senses, to feel where the magic is highest, and follows the pull deep into the cave. About a minute later, Loki feels the land change from rocky, to smooth stone. He looks down, and sees that he's already within the castle grounds.
Another minute later, Loki finds a dead end, with only one direction to go. Back. Closing his eyes, Loki channels his magic in his hands, and moves the palm over the wall, without actually touching it.
Within 5 seconds, Loki feels something and smirks. He then pushes magic in his hand presses 7 bricks.
Nothing happens.
Loki groans to himself, and says, "Great. Now I have to guess the correct order."
Making his mind up, Loki starts pressing the 7 bricks, with different permutations. Thankfully, on his 9th try, just as Loki was about to give up and smash the wall open, the wall shudders a bit, and opens up. Hovering a small ball of light into the entrance, Loki sees a narrow passageway, that looks like it's in the basement of a castle.
"Verily." Loki whispers to himself, smirking. Then his smirk drops and he slams a palm on his face. He whispers out, groaning a little, "I'm spending way too much time with Thor."
He enters the passage, and keeps walking. By now, it's been 3 minutes since he dropped out of the portal. A minute later, Loki comes upon a wall, which has a door knob on it's right side.
"Really? That's it? I expected more puzzles." Loki mumbles to himself, honestly disappointed.
Knowing that this is the entry point into the castle proper, Loki becomes invisible to everyone and everything, while using runes to mask his scent. He even blocks out his thoughts, in case the Wizard hears his broadcasted thoughts.
"One thing Baldur has taught me is to never take a chance. Better be over-prepared than under." Loki says to himself, once he's satisfied with his Illusions, and opens the door. As he expected, he came out into a castle, made with stone, mud and brick. Loki both didn't know, and didn't bother with examining which type of stones they were.
Walking left, and following the path Baldur showed him, Loki walks down the stairs. He passes 2 Dementors, but none of them detect him, so he keeps walking. He even sees a couple small elfish creatures, with pointed ears and nose, and a hunched figure.
One of them looks directly at his direction, but simply mumbles something out, and continues cleaning a photo frame. A moving photo frame. Shaking his head, Loki moves on. 'So some of these.. creatures, can detect the magic I'm using', he thinks.
Passing a window, he sees the sky clearing up a bit. 'Baldur and Thor are clearing it up, probably. They haven't begun the attack yet, so I should simply wait near the Wizard.' Loki thinks to himself, and nods.
2 minutes later, he walks through the giant open doors of the Great Hall, as Baldur called it, and sees around. There were some more of the elfish creatures, cleaning anything they could find. One group was cleaning the floor, while another was cleaning the tables. Which no one used.
Looking at the front, Loki sees the Wizard. He looked as old as Master Tyr, which considering he was a human who extended his age later in life, was understandable. He was also far, far uglier than Master Tyr.
'He's uglier than even that Rock troll I fought last year.' Loki thinks to himself in shock. Shaking his head, Loki walks forward and stops towards the back of the Great Hall.
For an expert in Illusions, masking noise was no big deal, let alone for the God of Illusions. So the Wizard, even with his enhanced senses, did not see, hear, feel, or even smell as Loki was there.
Only another minute of waiting silently later, Loki hears a loud noise from the direction of the Gates. The sound of gates breaking. Along with that, comes a wave of warmth inside the castle, making the Wizard scowl, and the little elves smile a little.
The Wizard gets shocked but then laughs madly. He shouts, "HAHAHAHAHA!! Someone finally came! I'll be FREEE!! You see that you maggots! I'll be free!"
'He's absolutely mad.' Loki thinks. Gloating to an already defeated enemy, while your castle is being invaded?
As soon as the Wizard has finished speaking, Loki hears multiple screeching noises. Dementors wail, at being killed. Hearing that Loki grins to himself.
The Wizard shouts, "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! EVERY ONE OF YOU, GO AND KILL THIS ENEMY! I WANT THEIR SOULLESS HUSKS LAYING RIGHT HERE IN FRONT OF ME!"
'This just keeps getting better and better.' Loki thinks, and shakes his head at the Wizards stupidity. There were about 30 of the Dementors in the Great Hall, spreading about their depression. After his order, only 2 remain by his side, while the others go out through the doors, probably to die by the hands of the Sons of Odin.
The two Dementors turn towards the Wizard, and Loki can see that these two are somehow different than what they were a few seconds ago. One has become icy blue in colour, and had icy steam emitting from it, while the other simply has black wisps flowing near him.
Loki discretely summons his daggers, and waits to see what happens.
The Wizard, notices the two Dementors, and looks at them warily. The blue one comes close to The Wizard, and says in a raspy tone, "YOU HAVE FAILED US, EKRIZDIS." Even this one sentence seemed to have sent a chill through the Wizard's spine, and even Loki feels it. The wizard starts trembling, now properly afraid of both of them.
"Wh- what? I gave you so many souls! So much magic! And you say I failed you?!" The wizard, Ekrizdis shouts, shaking a lot in fright.
The wispy dementor comes forward, chokes Ekrizdis with one hand, and says, "YES! YOU FAILED US. WE WERE PROMISED THE PLANET, AND YOU COULDN'T EVEN KEEP A HOLD ON ONE SMALL PIECE OF LAND?! ALREADY DOZENS OF MY DEMENTORS HAVE DIED AT THE HANDS OF THESE.. ATTACKERS. DIED! NOT BANISHED! DIED!" His voice was a lot scarier than the blue one's, and it simply reeked of death.
Loki keeps a guard up, but keeps watching. The wispy Dementor throws Ekrizdis down, sending him tumbling towards the doors.
The two Dementors start floating towards Ekrizdis, and the icy Dementor says, "WE TOLERATED YOUR LOSS WHEN YOU WERE TRAPPED HERE! BECAUSE WE AT LEAST HAD THIS ONE SMALL CASTLE IN THIS REALM AS OURS! BUT NOW, YOU ARE LOSING US THAT TOO. SO NOW, WE HAVE TO TERMINATE OUR ACCORD, EKRIZDIS. SAY GOODBYE!"
Saying that, the icy Dementor stops a few feet away from the trembling form of Ekrizdis and freezes his body, while the Wispy one motions with his hand towards Ekrizdis, who starts choking again, putting a hand on his throat. He starts scrambling with his hands and legs, trying really hard not to choke.
Or at least, that's what Loki thought was happening. Only a few seconds later, Ekrizdis opens his mouth, and a silver ball of light comes out of it, big enough to barely fit into his mouth. It floats out, and moves slowly towards the Wispy Dementor, while the Icy one stays only a few feet away.
Wispy takes the floating silver ball into his hands, and is about to eat it, to Loki's horrified fascination, when Icy makes his move. He stabs his hands into the Wispy one's chest, and starts freezing him.
The freezing Wispy, freezes, and looks towards Icy. He shouts, "YOU BETRAY ME!? REMEMBER OUR ACCORD, IKTHALON!"
The Icy Dementor, who's named Ikthalon apparently, gives an equivalent to a shrug, and says, "TIS THE GAME, ANUBIS! I ALWAYS MEANT TO BETRAY YOU! ME, A LORD OF A REALM DEPENDING ON THE DEATH GOD OF A SINGLE PANTHEON?! DESPICABLE! I WAS SIMPLY WAITING FOR THE RIGHT MOMENT!"
By now, only the head of the Wispy one, Anubis, was unfrozen, allowing him to speak the last word, "I WILL NOT FORGET THIS, IKTHALON! I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!"
And then, Anubis gets completely frozen, leaving only the silver ball of light, that was still in his hand, unfrozen. Ikthalon takes the ball out of his hands, and quickly eats it. Then, with merely a punch, he shatters Anubis's body into a thousand ice pieces, and moves towards Ekrizdis's body.
Loki, deciding that now was the right opportunity, throws his dagger with his left hand, right into the back of Ikthalon. It would have hit right in it's left side, right where Ikthalon hit Anubis, if he hadn't moved slightly, making it miss it's mark, and hitting the shoulder.
"ASGARDIAN! YOU FINALLY SHOW YOURSELF?" Ikthalon says, turning to look towards where Loki was.
Loki steels himself, bracing for an attack, but observes that Ikthalon only knows his general area, and not the exact position. Ikthalon takes out the dagger, from his shoulder, immediately making himself bleed, much to his angry confusion, and throws it on the ground.
Unlike what Loki had expected, Ikthalon turns his back to Loki, while conjuring an Ice Wall between them.
Loki throws the remaining dagger at the wall, which cracks it a bit, and then throws the two daggers again, after summoning them back.
Barely 10 seconds had passed between the Conjuration of the wall, and it's destruction, but during that time, somehow, Ikthalon was able to take over the human body of Ekrizdis, absorbing the Dementor in him too.
Ikthalon opens Ekrizdis's soulless body's mouth, and enters the body through it. The whole Dementor merges with the body, increasing the height of Ekrizdis from 6 feet to 8. His colour, which was a bit blue due to the cold, was suddenly icy blue, and even his breath was cold.
The ground where he touched the floor, was frozen completely, with the ice slowly moving, covering more ground away from him.
Loki looks at Ekrizdis's enhanced body, in a complete fascination. He didn't know why, but he simply loved the cold. And this human, Ekrizdis, or Ikthalon, was as cold as they came.
"Now you will feel the wrath of Lord Ikthalon! Prepare to die, Asgardian!" Ikthalon says, and starts running towards Loki.
Loki summons his daggers, and prepares to fight. 'This quest just got a lot more interesting.' He thinks to himself, just as Ikthalon punches down at Loki's form.
~~~

A/N: Plot twist lol. I wanted to have a fight between Loki and human Ekrizdis, but realized that it'll be way too one sided. While Ekrizdis has enhanced himself by Jotun and Aesir blood, it's effects are inferior to an actual Jotun or Aesir.

And he also only sacrificed regular foot soldiers, so the Royals will definitely be stronger than him.

Now, I think I'll have 2 more chapters on this. And I'm going to be writing these two chapters in Third Person POV. As writing fights in FPP is too.. weird. If I write in TPP, I can write what Thor is doing, and what Baldur is doing, without mixing stuff up, or making it complicated with saying, "I could see that Thor is doing this.."

So yeah, TPP.

Now, a lot of people said I should revive Helga Hufflepuff. But a lot more people said I should simply let the Witches die in peace. So yeah, both witches will be dead.

Those who want to blame someone for me not bringing Helga or Rowena back to life, blame this guy: medo_abdobasha for spamming chapter comments, saying that he wanted both Rowena and Helga back to life.

Saying that, I really agree with the people saying witches Should stay dead.

Thank you!
