47 Making Deals

A/N: Small Chapter.

1156 AD: 192 Years(17)

We were all sitting in the Royal Dining Hall, having dinner. Thor and Loki had been out, each separately gone out to train, and Father was in the Throne Room.

But now, all five of us were in the Dining room. Well, Seven of us now, along with Groot and Aora. I was telling them all about my "second" trip to the Light Dimension. They think it's the second, but I'm not going to correct them.

"..and then, I brought the flames from my second Realm into the Light one, and merged them together, giving rise to what I'm calling the Sun Realm. My magic, Divinity, and my Realm magic, have all become one now, which mother felt when she saw me in the afternoon."

I finish my tale, and continue eating. Aora and Groot were silent, and simply smiling, but I could see Odin was a bit irked that mother had brought the two to the Royal table. Well, there's no stopping mother.

Groot was eating vegetables that I had the cooks make, while Aora was eating the usual Asgardian food, and appreciating the taste a lot.

"Good. It's a good thing you recognized what was wrong and corrected it." Odin says, nodding at me.

Thor smiles widely, happy for me, and says, "You should have gotten stronger in all this time, right brother? Let's fight later!"

"Later, children. You have guests at the table." Mother says, scolding us as I'm about to agree.

Odin takes that opportunity, and asks, "Yes, these.. guests. What are you going to do with them?"

That instantly drops the mood. Aora freezes, while Groot continues peacefully eating. Thor and Loki tense, knowing something might happen soon.

Mother sighs, while I clench my fist. I simply smile at him, hiding my anger, and say, "What's there to do? I adopted them, and I'm going to make sure they do something good out of their lives. They are living on Avalon with me, for now, but I'm going to help them build a home for themselves soon enough."

Odin realizing he's angered me, sighs, and looks to Mother for help, who also glares at him.

Odin says, "Very well. It's your planet. Do with it as you wish."

Mother speaks up, breaking the tense Atmosphere, and says, "Let's eat for now. The children can talk amongst themselves after."

We all nod, and continue eating. I pat Aora on the knee, to tell her to relax. She already expected something like this, and unfortunately, it came true.

3 days of staying on Asgard later, we return to Avalon, with the addition of Thor and Loki. Thor hadn't met with Medusa in a long while.

And yes, they did go through the ritual, but unfortunately, due to our Asgardian physiology, I had to select magical serpents for the both of them. Their sacrifice will never be mentioned to Thor, who loves snakes.

I just kept everything in the ritual circle, and had him close his eyes before going through it.

He did try and befriend the Thunderbirds, but unfortunately, they rejected him. Violently.

Leaving Thor to go find Medusa, and Groot to go in the forest, Loki leaves to go meet the Goblins. He wanted to commission something from them, that he won't tell me about.

That leaves me and Aora alone. I turn to her, and ask, "You okay?"

Shaking her head, she answers, "No. Your father does not likes me."

I nod, and say, "No, but my mother does. She loves you. Loki.. is simply mad that he isn't the youngest anymore, and Thor loves fighting you. Don't worry, Aora. I love you, okay? I'm not going to leave you simply because my Father tells me to."

Aora nods, with tears in her eyes, and says, "I love you, too." She sniffs, and wiping her eyes, "I'm sorry, but I'm not going to call you father. I look older than you."

I snort and pat her head. I say, "You don't have to. You can call me Baldur, and I won't even mind."

She nods, and moves towards the castle, leaving me alone. Now, lets go meet the Sorcerers.

~~~
A portal opens in the training grounds of Kamar Taj, making everyone vigilant, and I step out of it. The students get into a fighting pose, while a few newer masters do the same.
"Who are you and what business do you have here?!" One of them asks, holding what looks like the Staff of the Living Tribunal.
I hold my hands behind my back, and answer, "My name is Master Baldur. If you'd call Master Yao for me, I'd be very thankful."
"That won't be necessary. I'm here Baldur." The familiar voice says, looking no older than 9 years ago. That's how long it's been since I've been here. He looks to the Staff holder, and says, "I'll take it from here. Thank you for your vigilance Master Yami."
Yami. So that's her name. She must be good, if the Staff of the Living Tribunal chose her. I nod at her, and follow Master Yao to his office.
"So, you've taken over the Light Realm." Master Yao says, as soon as we're sitting down.
I nod, and correct him, "The Sun Realm. I call it Solheim. I merged the Light Realm, with the Fire Realm."
"Interesting. Now, how can Kamar Taj help you, Master Baldur?" Master Yao says.
I smirk, and put forth a contract. It basically says that I will allow the Sorcerers to use the Healing and Light energy from my Dimension, and in return, they tell me of any interesting Ruler-less Dimension they find. While I won't take over all of them, I will take over the ones that can benefit me. Also, they will help Avalon if we're under attack, and protect it the same as they do Earth.
A fair trade, as it also means my Dimension produces more energy. It's like a muscle. The more you use it, the better it gets.
I say, "I'm here to make a formal partnership with Kamar Taj. I won't harm you or yours, you don't harm me and mine. You get to use my Realm's energy for healing, I get to know of any Ruler-less Realms you come across. I get a boost in my Realm's energy, you get me as an ally against Dormammu, or the Hell Lords, if they attack Earth."
Master Yao hums and begins reading the contract. 10 minutes of reading later, he looks up and says, "Well.. this is surprisingly fair. I can't refuse a former student, either. But promise me that you will help Kamar Taj in need."
I look at him indignantly, and say, "Of course I'll protect Earth. I'm a Prince of Asgard. Now, I need to go. I left my brothers on Avalon, both of them without any supervision. So, if you'll excuse me."
Master Yao simply waves me out, so I portal directly from there, to Hogwarts. Taking out the mirror from my PD, I turn it on and mumble, "Helheim."
It immediately shows Hela, sitting on a throne, on a dead world. Literally dead world. There were skeletons everywhere, of men, women, children, animals, and the whole place was as black as the darkest night. The sky above was dark too, with only green lightning in between, to light it up.
Helheim, was not a planet, like the other realms were. It was a Realm. A dead Realm. And there was only one occupant there.
My sister, Hela, was in a palace, again, black in colour, sitting on it's throne, looking as Godly as ever. She did not need to eat, nor drink. But, she could not leave Helheim.
There was a spell cast on her, a tether so to speak, by Odin himself, that bound her to that land, only to unravel when Odin dies. It doesn't matter what she does, it will not break.(A/N: IT WILL NOT BREAK! IT WILL NOT BREAK! IT WILL NO- IT BROKE!)
She can create, and has already tried creating many different portals that might lead her out of Helheim, but the tether won't allow her to leave the Realm.
I'm not even close to powerful enough to break, and I won't even try. But I can try and talk to her.
I already know what happened to her in the past, both by listening to Odin's tales, and also by looking through the Mirror at how she got treated.
But, I want to listen to what her thoughts about it are.
"Soon, sister. I'll meet you soon. And then, I'll have your side of the story."
~~~Solheim~~~

In Solheim, I open my eyes, moving my connection to my Avatar to the side, and look up. A portal had opened inside Solheim, and they were coming to the Palace.

I wait for them to come, recognizing the beings coming here. As the three beings land in front of me, as tall as my current Persona, I spread my arms, smiling widely.

I say, "Greetings, Vishanti. Welcome to Solheim."

~~~
A/N: Yes, He'll talk to Hela soon. No, she's not his waifu. She's his half sister. Sure, they're Gods, but I don't think MC can forget the concept of inc*st from his past.
I'm still thinking of Ororo as the pairing, but if someone else comes up, I'll consider her.
