27 7 Months

1139 AD: 175 Years(17)

"... And then, I fried the Evil Wizard with my thunder from the Mighty Mjolnir, after Loki stabbed him into submission! Baldur was the one to burn his body, to make sure the Wizard never returns!" Thor finishes, loudly speaking, and slams the mead cup on the floor.

"Another!" He shouts. The barkeep immediately pours another drink for him, in another glass.

It's been 7 months since I'd planted the Seed on Venus, and I have to say, it's been some interesting months.

We stayed in the castle for a few more days, to keep the magicals company. I spent two days simply roaming the castle, and mapping it out in my mind. Although, it was a bit hard due to the moving corridors, and staircases.

The Elves that were in the castle, spent the days cleaning it up. Before cleaning up though, came the funerals. A lot of magicals had died both by Ekrizdis's hands and naturally. So, over 700 dead bodies of Wizards, Goblins, Elves, and Dwarves, had to be burned on a funeral pyre.

A lot of the last wizards had moved into Hogwarts to hopefully stay safe, but sadly, they died with the students. All of the House Elves, which had survived the initial attacks had fled to Hogwarts, but most of them too died.

Which is why, The House Elves diligently worked to erase any trace of Ekrizdis's presence in Hogwarts. In the first 3 days itself every sign that Ekrizdis ever lived there was gone. Not even his clothes remained, which were burned in a ditch.

2 days after the funerals, Goblins and Dwarves moved out of Hogwarts Castle, but stayed in the mountains that were close by. By close by, I mean a few miles. Surprisingly, they decided to stay together. I was hoping that they'd merge together, as only 20-30 per race is not enough to keep a race alive, and crossbreeding might just enhance their magic.

After the Goblins and Dwarves moved out, I finally gathered enough courage to open the Headmaster's Chambers. It was a bit hard, but not much.

~~~Flashback~~~
It was night-time, and my brothers were asleep. Loki had spent the day in the Library, simply reading. And I thank all the Gods in each and every Pantheon, that Wizards had invented Preservation Charms.
Every book in the Hogwarts library was in pristine condition, with only a few pages torn here and there. The elves had maintained the Library, and had managed to move the most dangerous books into the Headmaster's Chambers, to save them from Ekrizdis's hands.
Which is why I was standing in front of the gargoyle leading to the same. It kept staring at me for the last 3 minutes, and of I hadn't already seen Godric Griffindor, and Rowena Ravenclaw enchant the Gargoyle, I would have been scared. I simply kept staring back.
It finally grunts and asks, "What?!"
Hahah! I won! I snort at the Gargoyle, and say, "Tits and ale."
Yup. That was the password. Surprisingly, no, Godric did not set it last. This particular password was set by Rowena, so Salazar, the headmaster for the decade, would have to say it out loud to gain entrance.
The Gargoyle jumps out of the way, and the staircase behind him begins to spin, leading to the Office, and bypassing the wards.
I climb the staircase, and enter the office, looking inside. It was similar to what Dumbledore had in the movies, except for a bit more... Green. The Headmaster's chair was green and silver, the curtains, which were closed, were green and gold, while the curtain covering the photo frames were simply green. Heck, even the carpet below my feet was green.
Thankfully, everything was cleaned by the house elves in the hopes that someone returns to save them all, which we did.
"Damn! That's.. a lot of green!" I whisper out, frankly shocked.
"Who's there?" A raspy, old voice says, from behind a big curtain.
I get curious, walk towards it, and pull it down, showing me a large shelf, filled to the brim with books, tomes, and even a few scrolls. Among them, on top of the books, is something I recognize from the Harry Potter movies.
The Sorting Hat.
"Huh. Didn't think you'd have survived, really." I mumble out, looking at the tattered hat.
"It take more than age to get rid of me, boy. Now who are you? And how did you get here?" The hat asks, once again, shouting a bit.
I feel a probe on my Mind Shields, but it's too weak, so I simply slap it away. I look at the hat, and say, "Don't try that again, hat. I'm an Asgardian, and no matter how powerful or detailed your Midgardian Mind arts may be, Asgardian Magic is simply more potent."
The hat stays silent for a minute, during which I pull the rest of the curtains off, showing the portraits of the four founders, all of them sleeping, and another shelf with more books.
I ignore them for a while, and keep looking around the room, during which the hat says, in a musing voice, "An Asgardian, you say? Didn't know you lot even came down here, anymore."
"Well, I'm on vacation." I mumble out, pulling a book from the shelf, and reading the title. "Introduction to Rituals, and their uses." Nice. Loki will definitely love this, if I show it to him, of course. I open it to start reading.
"Hmm.. Is the Dark Wizard dead? Or are you with him?" the hat asks, looking at me intently.
I snort at that, and turn around, facing him, and close the book for a while. I say, "Ekrizdis is dead, hat. And so are his Dementors."
As soon as I say that, the four portraits of the founders open their eyes, and snap their heads towards me. Of course, they were pretending to be asleep. I shake my head at their paranoia, but I can sorta understand.
Helga Hufflepuff's portrait is the first to break the silence, she says, "Impossible! All four of us died to him! And you say, you, a lone Asgardian defeated him and his Dementors? Even if you're a God, I don't believe you."
I roll my eyes and simply summon my Black Mirror from the PD, and after enlarging it, show them the battle. The five spectators, silently watch it, gasping at appropriate times.
Once the battle is over, I show them the conversation between me and Lady Jord, to show that I was not a threat.
Sure, I could have simply told them that, but I already had had the same conversation with Helga's ghost, so speaking again, with her portrait? It was a bit boring.
Finishing the first chapter, which was basically a primer about the different ingredients, I store the mirror back into my PD, and say, "I never said, I was alone. I simply said that he was dead."
After a few minutes of silence, which I let them to think, Salazar speaks up, "Are you going to protect the remaining magical beings? Even animals?"
I look up from the 2nd book I was reading, "Parsel", which detailed the history of Parseltongue, I say, "Obviously, Lord Slytherin. They have nowhere to go, and they've just been released from captivity. I need to re-teach them how to live, of course, after which they're on their own."
"But if anything like this happens again? Or if the muggles attack them?" This time it's Rowena.
I look at her, and say, "I won't always be there to protect them. If the magicals were the ones who messed up, then I won't help them, at all. If.. muggles attacked them, unprovoked, which will be next to impossible in a few years, then yes. I'll help. Why are you asking, Lady Rowena?"
They ignore me, and all four founders share nods with each other. Then, Godric looks at the Hat, and says, "Hat. Give Prince Baldur access to the ward stones. From this day forward, the school has been disbanded, but the castle will fall under Price Baldur's command. Guide him in the proper way to control the wards."
"Why can't you do that, you old coot?" the hat grumpily asks, shaking it's top a little.
Godric looks at it sadly, and says, "We're deactivating ourselves, Hat. I won't be able to handle looking at the school without her children, and I don't think my friends disagree with me. So, unless the school reopens as a school for magicals, we won't turn ourselves back on."
~~~Flashback End~~~

After that, the founders had said their goodbyes to the hat, and the hat had simply guided me towards the ward stones. The door to the stairs leading to the ward stones, behind the book shelf, was already known to me, but I also knew that you had to have the approval of the Hat to become a headmaster.

So, once I bled on the ward stone, and chanted the Hogwarts Motto, I immediately felt a connection to the wards, and I have to say, they are very much superior to even Asgardian Wards. And our wards use technology too!

Asgardian, and Sorcerers' wards were superior when it came to blocking physical objects, of course. But Wizarding Wards? You can't hit something you can't see, hear, or feel! The Hogwarts wards have the full capability if completely erasing it's presence, thanks to Lady Jord, and divert anyone looking closely to it.

It was, sort of like a big SEP field. Somebody Else's Problem.

Shaking off my musings, I raised the wards to the full strength, which was pretty superior to any sorcerer's wards, and went back out, but not before getting the Sword of Godric Gryffindor from the grumbling Hat.

I had simply kept it in my PD, and hadn't done anything with it yet. And the Hat had entered hibernation too. It too was upset, even if it was not completely sentient, and I let it be.

A few days, during which the former prisoners got used to living freely, I spent in either of the libraries, simply reading on the history of each Wizarding subjects, and talking with the House Elves.

I also spent the nights studying the two treasures I had borrowed from Kamar Taj. The Eye of Agamotto, and the Book of Cagliostro.

In the first 2 weeks that I'd had the Eye, I'd only managed to absorb the radiation emitted by the Time Stone, into myself, with the help of Karna, my armour.

I really felt happy that the armour had that property of absorbing any and all radiation. As, when I absorbed the Time Radiation, I managed to view further back using the Mirror, after each consecutive absorption session.

I had also sort of developed a sense to where the other Infinity Stones were, which as of now, was pretty useless. The only thing I'd managed to discern, at first, was that each and every Infinity Stone, was too far away from me to sense anything more than a direction.

After 2 weeks of staying in the castle, Thor began to get bored, so we began travelling. Travelling led to sparring, which destroyed a lot of land. It also managed to get the attention of the mortals, which led to Thor telling tales. A lot of them.

This was our.. umpteenth town, and it had been 7 months since our vacation began. And Thor had been telling the same tale each and every time we entered a new village. Of course, we also added other tales when asked. Which brings us back to the present.

"What happened to the castle?" An old man asked Thor.

Thor, knowing what I want him to say, said, "It was destroyed in the fight, unfortunately."

A lot of the crowd groaned loudly, which caused me to chuckle at them. Everyone wants castles, no one wants to take care of the peasants living near the castles.

Speaking of castle, I and Loki had been scouring all the Tomes related to Runes within the castle, while I put Thor to work on reading Lightning Elemental Spells.

Of course, I had to teach the two how to read Anglo first, but that was done within a few weeks thanks to Mind Arts.

Why were we studying more runes? Simple. I wanted to move Hogwarts, and the entire lands within the warded areas, from Earth, to Venus.

It was still a work in progress, but we had written down a rune scheme detailing the borders of which I want to move.

What I had in mind, was that the runes will be written on both, Earth, and Venus, over the same area of land. Once activated, the two areas will switch places. So the Warded area will move to Venus, while a small patch of Venus land will move to Earth.

Obviously that's a small sacrifice of whatever precious gems are underneath the lands selected. But, I haven't switched the two yet.

Venus, while a lot colder than before, hasn't settled down yet. I had visited it a few times, and yes, the terraforming was going great. At my last visit, there was about 80% water on the planet's surface, but it was not yet liveable for even the toughest aquatic animals.

Lady Jord had estimated that it will take 3 more months for the water to be ready for aquatic life, which Lady Jord will provide, and accelerate growth in, while the trees will grow properly in 5 more months. 4 months after that, the oxygen levels will settle down to be similar to Earth, after which, we all will move.

But it's not time yet. For now, we will roam the Earth, and spread the religion of the Mighty Asgardians! Once our dinner is paid for, with Asgardian Gold, we move towards the next town.

Speaking with mortals is pretty interesting if they're not trying to bow down to us.
