After listening to her master's words, He Mei Ya felt that a weight had been lifted of her heart.. and she clearly felt much better..

He Mei Ya believed in his words and did not doubt him in the least.. So, she happily took a book when she heard a knock on the door.

" Little Ya.. it's me."

On hearing her brother's voice, He Mei Ya immediately threw the book and hurried to the door after covering her face with a veil and wearing a veiled bamboo hat.

On hearing her hurried footsteps He Jian chuckled " Yo.. I'm not running away.. Come slowly.."

The door opened with a loud bang and He Jian stopped her small fist from hitting his nose just in time.

" Sis, are you trying to murder your brother .."

" Big Bro.. You are too much ah!.."

He Jian observed her and pursed his lips. Seeing him trying hard not to laugh, He Mei Ya humped and turned her face away.

" Hahaha.." He Jian laughed on seeing her antics.

He Mei Ya remained silent and watched her brother's face as if trying to capture that laughing face into her memory permanently.

He Jian stopped laughing " I didn't know that my sis needs two veils to cover her face ah! Everyone will think that you are a weirdo."

" Let them think what they want. I don't care anyway. I don't want outsiders to know that we are alive. I want a perfect stage for my grand entrance" He Mei Ya said with an exciting voice while handing him a veil.

He Jian took the veil and asked her while covering his face " Where do you want to go?"

"Shopping" He Mei Ya immediately replied.

' Shopping?' He Jian's mouth twitched.

" Dear sis, are we shopping for books, weapons or herbs?" He Jian asked with a low voice as if he lost his energy.

On seeing her brother's defeated expression, He Mei Ya pursed her lips as she remembered their first shopping experience.

In their past life, after completing their first mission successfully He Jian decided to buy cute clothes and accessories for her. So, he dragged her from the medical room to a shopping complex.

He Mei Ya did not have any interest in dolling up herself back then. So, she dragged him to herb stores and weapon stores and immersed herself in selecting the things that pleased her. She completely forgot about her brother who followed her like a tail. She remembered that he existed only at the time of billing.

He Jian imagined a happy and busy shopping but in reality he was thrown aside. She clearly remembered his tantrum on their way back home. From then, he never accompanied her in 'shopping.'
