25 Pops and grand pops
" Alright.. I believe in you." He Mei Ya assured He Jian " I'll take good care of our family. Don't worry.. I'll bring the He clan back to it's former glory by the time you return."
He Jian knew very well about his sister's business mind. So, he is very confident that she will the scare the hell of all those who insulted the He clan with her abilities. He Jian chuckled as he can clearly imagine everyone's expressions " I'm looking forward to it."
" When are you planning to leave?" He Mei Ya inquired.
" As soon as possible. I want to inform father and grandfather about my situation before leaving."
" OK.. Then let's meet them. I'll come with you."
He Jian knew that she wants to be around him as he will be leaving soon. So, He Jian does not refuse her and takes her hand and they both prepare to go outside the Mo Ji mountain range after covering their faces with a black veil.
He Mei Ya uses the talisman to create an opening in the barrier and they both step out. They use their spirit powers to fly until they reach the city gates.
As flying is not allowed inside the city, He Jian and He Mei Ya hire a carriage to go to the He clan residence as soon as possible.
They entered the house stealthily as no one know that they are alive except their family.
Inside the clan hall..
" Gong'er, I want to see my granddaughter. She is out for a few days and I'm missing her already." He Jiao sighs sadly.
"Father.. It's only a week. You are making me feel as if they are out for years." He Gong shakes his head helplessly.
This old man has always been strict with us brothers.. Who knows that in the process of hoping for a daughter he is blessed with three sons. Only he knows how happy this old man is when He Mei Ya is born. As she is the first granddaughter of He clan, everyone doted on that brat. Suddenly, He Gong felt bad for his son.
" Father.. He Jian is also not present. I'm missing that brat." He Gong kindly reminds a certain old man that he has a grandson.
" Who cares for that brat. I want to see my granddaughters pretty face and hear her cute voice." He Jiao snorts.
He Gong face-palmed. ' Alright.. It's my bad reminding you of an insignificant existence'
Outside the window, on hearing the old man's words He Mei Ya smiled widely till her eyes changed into crescents. He Jian smiled helplessly as he understood his sisters feelings clearly.
He Mei Ya always loved having a family. So, on hearing her grandfathers words, she decided that she will spoil this grandfather of hers with her love. She decided to ignore a certain ungrateful father.
If He Gong knew his daughters thoughts of abandoning him, he will certainly spank her.
On deciding to please her grandfather, He Mei Ya jumps through the window like a cat and stands like a bandit in front of them shocking them thoroughly.
" Yo.. pops and grand pops.. I'm back." He Mei Ya smiles like a rouge. He Jian leaps through the window gracefully and stands beside her.
He Jiao and He Gong stare at her with stupefied expressions. He Jian's face becomes beet red as he is strongly resisting the urge to laugh at them.
" You.. It's not even a week. How come your back so early." He Jiao angrily rebukes her but his huge grin easily gave away his true feeling.
