6 Pinkie promise....

After some time the carriage finally came to a stop. Two burly men dragged He Jian and He Mei Ya out of the carriage. They stood near the entrance of the forest and threw He Jian and He Mei Ya into the forest.

"Captain.. Why did you not kill them?? What if they escape??", a guard cannot help but ask.

Captain Da Yao angrily rebukes "One can only enter this Mo Ji range.. did you hear any one who entered returning alive?? Moreover, this is the order of crown prince. What? Do you want to disobey his highness's orders now?"

All of the guards fall to their knees and keep their heads down.

They look at each other and silently leave the place.

After walking for an hour an Da Yao spotted the place. It's an empty cave beside a small lake. They carefully placed the kids inside the cave leaving behind some food, money and medicine. After coming out of the cave Da Yao took a porcelain bottle and sprinkled some powder around the cave.

Bao Tai recognized it immediately. 'Beast repellent powder', as the name indicates it keeps most of the demonic beasts away. He looked at the captain with profound eyes.

Feeling his gaze Da Yao lightly smiles " Our ex-general commander He Jiao, did so much for our army. The Crown Prince is a fool for making an enemy out of He family. Just wait and see, the Crown prince will receive retribution for his sins soon. I am doing what ever I can so that these kids can live. Life always has many possibilities, whereas death is end to everything."

Bao Tai solemnly nodded his head, developing a deep respect for the captain in his heart. Taking a last glance at the cave, they leave the forest helplessly.

After the sound of their footsteps faded away, He Jian slowly sat up and He Mei Ya opened her eyes. As her body is weak and full of wounds, He Mei Ya remains in sleeping position. Both of them look at each other with a smile.

" That man is a good person.", He Jian slowly opens his mouth.

He Mei Ya smiles " Yes, we will remember this favor." They may be cold-blooded killers but they are not people without gratitude. Be it revenge or gratitude, they always returned it generously.

" Brother.. we are given a second chance to live. In this life, we are having a family and they are all good to these original bodies. Let us cherish them and teach a lesson to all those fuckers who despised our He family."

" Yes... My thought's are also the same. Let's live our life to the fullest.", He Jian smilingly looks at his little sister with eyes full of love and care.

Seeing her brother's smile, He Mei Ya lifts her hand "pinkie promise....".

Looking at his sister acting cute suddenly, He Jian chuckles. He rubs her head affectionately and hooks her finger with his "Alright... pinkie promise."
