The old man's notebook contained detailed information about cultivation. The steps and different positions are clearly illustrated in it. Even the minute details about dantian and meridians are clearly included in it.
He Mei Ya finds this book very useful as she is foreign to cultivation. In her previous life she is an assassin. She is well versed with combat and concealment techniques.. but they will be useless against magic and dou qi skills. So, she starts reading the book with concentration.
He Mei Ya likes reading books in her past life and her reading speed is high and basically she is well-known for photographic memory. So, she finished one-fourth of the fat book in 20 minutes.
She came across many things in this book. She realized that cultivation speed depends on one's mental strength. Generally, a person can cultivate magic or dou qi. They are known as single cultivators. Some can cultivate both magic and dou qi. They are known as dual-cultivators.
But, dual cultivators are very rare in this continent. Basically, in humans dual cultivation is rare. But races like Luna are known for high number of dual-cultivators. Each race has its own benefits.
After an hour He Mei Ya closed her book to slowly digest the information and tried to recollect the cultivation steps. After ensuring that she remembered everything she went to look for her master.
He Mei Ya found her master busily cleaning the house wearing a small apron. She finds it funny and chuckles.
Hearing her chuckle, a certain busy old man looks at her disdainfully for disturbing his work " Little girl, what are you dawdling for without reading my notes?"
He Mei Ya smiles proudly " Master, I finished reading the book."
Little Gu puts an expression of disbelief " Girl, don't lie to me. How can you complete it in 2 hrs. It takes at least one day."
He Mei Ya puts an aggrieved face " Master.. I really completed it. wuahh.. you must believe me ah! I will start cultivating now. Master, please keep an eye on me."
Little Gu does not believe her but he eventually nods on seeing her expression.
He Mei Ya quickly settled on the ground in the cultivation pose. She followed the instructions in the book and started sensing the spiritual Qi in the air.
Little Gu carefully observed her and is initially shocked on seeing her performing every step of cultivation clearly. He finally concluded that this girl is very capable as she completed the book in a short period.
In beginning He Mei Ya does not feel anything but after sometime she begins to sense spiritual Qi rushing towards her in a vortex. On sensing this tyrannical force, He Mei Ya performs some advanced steps of cultivation to control the speed of flow. The spiritual qi gathers around her densely but the speed of flow stabilizes so that she is not hurt in the process of absorption.
After she recovered from the initial shock, He Mei Ya observed that many red sparks are floating around her. He Mei Ya realizes that these are fire elements and she concludes that she is of fire nature.
But, after a few minutes she senses blue specks surrounding the fire elements. Immediately she senses brown specks accompanied by fierce wind surrounding her. Before she could understand what is happening around her, she senses a dense green light around her completely engulfing her. This process continues for a long time and He Mei Ya is unaware of the incredulous expression on her masters face.
Little Gu's initial calm face went through a myriad of expressions on seeing the five attributes of nature except ice attribute engulfing her in a dazzling lotus formation.
On seeing this, little Gu is both amazed and terrified and exclaims "Monster!!"
