After cleaning her wounds, he takes the healing ointment specially formulated by He Mei Ya and applies on her wounds and bandages them. Finally he takes a sleeping bag and places her securely in it.

After attending to his wounds, he washes his hands and drinks some water. He then takes some water and food left by Bao Tai near He Mei Ya and feeds her slowly.

He Mei Ya eats slowly without saying anything. She knows that her brother is both angry and sad at the same time. At these times, any unnecessary words will make him flip out. So, she silently looks at him.

After feeding her He Jian simply leans his back against the wall for support and closes his eyes. He Mei Ya can clearly see his lips trembling lips.
